When an Enemy Succeeds You in an Office, Be Expecting the Worst!

Season determines what happens and how it is manages. Leadership style too does the same. There was a time a Nigerian politician, now late, Ibrahim Waziri preached politics without bitterness but in today's politics, it is politics with deep bitterness and vindictiveness.
You must have heard about the sack of 15 security operatives, including the CSO and the spokesman of the Department of the Security Services, Gordon Obuh and Marilyn Ogar respectively, who served under President Goodluck Jonathan, at that time, they did their best for the state and the President but today, what they did had led to their sack, bad or good.
I remember as if it were yesterday when Major Al-Mustapha was the CSO to the expired tyrant, Sani Abacha when some contract killers were on the loose in the name of the state, killing and maiming the opposition elements, today, Al-Mustapha is a retired not dismissed from the army.
General Abdulsalami Abubakar was accused of presiding over the state looting when he succeeded the same Abacha, his successor, president Olusegun Obasanjo, turned blind the eye to whatever he did because he conducted a free and fair poll that led to his victory. But today, Jonathan who did more than that by handing over to the  man who defeated him at the poll is under fire! This is one of the issues being raised by Reverend Father Matthew Kukah. If Jonathan had stayed put in power, where would Nigeria be by now. It is well with Nigeria.
