Obuah Warns Against Street Football, Trading
Ahead of this month’s sanitation exercise holding tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, 2015, the Sold Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, Bro Felix Obuah has warned youths against using the sanitation hours of 7 to 10am for playing and converting the streets into football pitches.
He has equally warned market women against using same period for street trading.
The Sole Administrator regretted that rather than take advantage of the sanitation hours to clean their surroundings, empty their water channels and dispose same at government approved receptacles, youths and market women use the period for playing football and street trading.
Bro Obuah also warned uniform men, who act as escorts for those not on essential duties and without exemption permit to desist from such acts or face the full weight of the law.
He enjoined all the Caretaker Committee Chairmen in the 23 Local Government Areas in the State to ensure that all those domiciled in their respective areas fully comply and participate in tomorrow’s sanitation exercise.

Jerry Needam
Special Adviser, Media And Publicity
To The Sole Administrator
Rivers State Waste Management Agency.
