Olu Falae: Abductors Demand For N100m
You might have heard that former Secretary to the Federal Government under the Babangida dictatorship, Chief Olu Falae was kidnapped today on his farm, near Akure.
But according to the news monitoring on AIT, his abductors are demanding for a ransom of N100million if they must let him go.
However, an Ondo state government official who spoke to the station disclosed that Governor Segun Mimiko had waded into the matter with a view of releasing him as soon as possible.
But speaking to the reporter, an aide to Falae explained that his boss was on the farm, according to his daily routine, when he was kidnapped.
Speaking further, he said, "Those who kidnapped Baba had called his wife, Mama, asking for a ransom of N100 million. Mama said, the voice of the abductor who spoke to her sounded like that of a Fulaniman."
