HOW TO ENJOY SUPERNATURAL SPEED IN 2019

HOW TO ENJOY DIVINE ACCELERATED SPEED IN THE NEW YEAR
Joshua 1 King James Version (KJV)
1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

The above took place at the transition of leadership from Moses to Joshua. Moses had lost the Commission to anger and God killed him on the mountain of Nebo at the top of Pisgah (Deut.34:1). This is why we should not allow anger to take charge of our life. People and situations are bound to provoke us but we must be so strong to manage our emotion. Do you want to sail through 2019? Never you allow anyone to push you into any sin because it is you who will face the consequence. Are you a victim of anger, learn how to manage your anger. A fool and an angry man are course mates (Ecclesiastes 7:9). It is interesting to note that the same people that triggered the anger of Moses were mourning him and became stagnated on their way and Joshua, his successor was afraid to continue with the journey having saw how God killed his principal. This is why God gave him six Commands that must be obeyed.
 They are:
1. Be strong and of good courage (v6, 7 and 9).
2. Observe to do all the law (v7).
3. Depart not away from the divine guidance.
4. Meditate on the Book of the Law day and night.
5. Be not afraid (v9).
6. Be not  e dismayed (v9).
Four benefits of obedience can be identified as follows:
1. He will prosper wherever he go (v7).
2. He will make his way prosperous (v8).
3. He shall have good success (not every success is godly).
4. Divine Presence (v9).
Seven Assurances of God for Obedience
1. Every place you tread upon will be yours (v3-4).
2. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life (v5).
3. God will be with you as He was with Moses.
4. He will not fail you.
5. He will not forsake you.
6. He will make you a distributor of blessings for others (v6) and
7. He will be with you wherever you go.
MY PRAYERS FOR YOU:
As long as you honour the Word of God in your life in this year 2019;
1. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, you will possess your possession and no one will be able to deny you of your blessings in the year.
2. Whoever stands against you shall fall down for your sake in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your enemies will be afraid of you.
3. You will enjoy divine presence every day of the year in Jesus’ Name.
4. You will not suffer failure in any form in Jesus’ Name.
5. God will always be there for you.
6. Your home will be a distribution centre of divine blessings in Jesus’ Name.
7. You will dwell in His Presence every second of your life throughout the year in Jesus’ Name.
Pray all these prayers for yourself and enjoy the New Year.
My singular honour to welcome you into 2019 OUR YEAR OF DIVINE POSSIBILITIES. Nothing shall be impossible for you and your loved ones in Jesus’ Name.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.

2019 Election Will Be Free, Fair And Credible - Buhari assures Nigerians

New Year Message From President Muhammadu Buhari
Dear compatriots,
It is my utmost pleasure to rejoice with all Nigerians as we enter the year 2019, which will be a very significant one for our country.
At the turn of every year, we often use the opportunity to look back at the past and forward to the future. To review the outgoing year, its high and low points, successes and failures, and be fully thankful to God.
We Nigerians are a religious people, and we believe that God reigns and rules in the affairs of men.
A time like this offers precious opportunity for thanksgiving, stock taking and reflection on goals and targets set for the receding year, and how much was accomplished. The ones not done can then be rolled over into a new year.
The dawn of a New Year is also a time to look forward. To consider new prospects, unfold our plans, and prepare for landmark dates and events.
2019 will be an election year for us. In about two months, the polls are due, and we will elect leaders into various offices, at national and state levels.
As I welcome you into 2019, I also reiterate my many promises and declarations that the general elections will be free, fair and credible.
Elections need not be do or die affair, and we should not approach that eventuality in a democracy with trepidation and mortal fear. Happily, a large number of presidential candidates have committed to peace, and peace we shall have.
Those who continue to trumpet falsehood and negativity are on their own, fighting a losing battle.
The greater number of Nigerians are trusting and believing that we shall deliver on our promises for a level playing field at the polls, and that is what we shall do.
Nigerians desire peace, security, prosperity, inclusiveness and infrastructural development, a nation they can be proud of, a country that can hold its own among the nations.
That is the journey we have embarked on since we came onboard in 2015, and we are not distracted as we move on.
We are resolved to build a country in which the resources are utilized for the benefit of the largest number, and not appropriated by a privileged few in their never ending quest to satisfy their greed.
We are on this mission together, and I assure you of a firm commitment to the ideals of a safe, secure, fair, just and prosperous country.
We have had our challenges: security, economic, political, social. But we are resolved to combat and overcome them all.
I appreciate your support and collaboration in previous years, and look forward to same in 2019, and beyond, as I hope you will renew the mandate you overwhelmingly gave us in 2015, for another term.
We are motivated by nothing other than service to motherland, and service without selfishness or personal interest.
I can assure you all that we are making steady and sustainable progress in all areas of national life. Those who are unbiased can see and appreciate the progress the country has made since 2015.
A New Year provides opportunity for renewal of commitment, and I invite you to rededicate yourselves to the vision of a Nigeria that works for all.
We are moving from potentials to actualization, and it’s a task to be accomplished by us all; man, woman, young, old, military, civilian, all Nigerians.
Please come along, as we journey to the land of our dreams. Happy 2019.
Thank you and God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

2019: Why Nigeriane Should Vote Out Buhari - PDP

December 31, 2018

Press Statement

New Year: PDP Assures Nigerians of Brighter Future
…Urges Prayers Against Buhari’s Negative Projections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) urges Nigerians to step into 2019 with unwavering optimism, faith and hope of a new era of peace, national cohesion and economic prosperity under a new President, Atiku Abubakar, that will be elected on February 16, 2019.

The PPCO congratulates Nigerians for their resilience in surviving the almost four years of President Muhammadu Buhari’s incompetent, anti-people and harsh administration and urges them to use the New Year to pray against all negative projections by President Muhammadu Buhari, who had declared more hardship for Nigerians in the coming year.

Nigerians must therefore avert such negative projections by voting out President Buhari and replacing him with their choice leader, the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku, who has already articulated a practical blueprint to ease their burden and pain by engendering rapid economic recovery, national cohesion and realistic solutions to our myriad of challenges.

2019, as an election year, offers our citizens their much-desired opportunity to end the trajectory of economic hardship, hunger and starvation, strange diseases, untimely deaths, collapsed infrastructure, humongous  unemployment figures, wanton killings and all the evils that have bedeviled our nation in almost four years of the President Buhari’s corrupt and incompetent administration.

Our citizens have made immensurable sacrifices to keep the nation going in the face of very harsh policies, lies and fake promises of the Buhari administration. They now eagerly long for a breathe of fresh air under Atiku as their next President.

Nigerians should therefore be optimistic as their incoming President will usher in a new era of a transparent and responsive government with the template for wealth creation, job opportunities and revitalization of our productive sector through tax cuts and direct empowerment of our hard working entrepreneurs in a manner that increases our national productivity, reduce costs of goods and services, increase exports and shore up the value of our naira.

Furthermore, Atiku Abubakar, as a new symbol of our national unity, has also perfected the outline for national reconciliation and healing and ending of all divisive tendencies with which the Buhari Presidency fouled our polity with  violence, divided our people along primordial fault lines, with its attendant violence and bloodletting in various parts of our nation.

The PPCO therefore urges Nigerians to maintain their resolve to make our nation work again by continuing in rallying behind Atiku Abubakar to rescue our nation from the stranglehold of President Buhari and his vicious cabal.

NIGERIA'S DRY BONE SHALL RISE AGAIN - CAN Assures Nigerians

New Year Message to All Nigerians From the Christian Association of Nigeria

Nigeria's Dry Bone Shall Rise Again
On behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), I bring New Year greetings to all Nigerians at home and abroad in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. I pray that 2019 will be a year of peace, prosperity, rest of mind and a year when the Almighty God will miraculously intervene in the affairs of our nation. Our dry bones shall rise again in Jesus’ name.
The year 2019  is a crucial year to all Nigerians because it is a year of general elections. I therefore urge all Nigerians to make sure that they abide in peace without being involved in violence throughout the year, especially before, during and after the election. We should all distant ourselves from electoral manipulation in whatever form. I urge politicians not to be too desperate to be voted into power and get themselves involved  in using thugs to cause chaos or commit electoral fraud. Vote buying is evil, all stakeholders should shun it.
All the law enforcement agencies, especially the Police and the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps deployed to maintain peace should not compromise their neutrality by working for desperate politicians. The military should not be dragged into the electoral process but instead, they should be allowed to face their primary responsibilities. Voters should not be intimidated and election observers should not be harassed like we witnessed in recent polls. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and their personnel should maintain neutrality in their conducts before and throughout the period of the election. Let us remember that without a free, fair and credible election which will bring credible leadership, the dry bones of Nigeria will not rise again.
It is my prayer that the year will be full of the goodness of God for us all in the name of Jesus.
WISHING YOU A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
Thank You.
Signed
Rev Dr Samson Olasupo A. Ayokunle
The President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

$5m Bribe: Hamzat Is a Pathological Liar - Jonathan

Re: $5m bribe claim: Hamzat’s blatant lie against ex-President Jonathan

Our attention has been drawn to a claim by the  running mate to the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr.  Obafemi Hamzat, that he rejected a $5million bribe from former President Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 elections.

There is no better way to respond to this frivolous claim  than to quickly dismiss it as a blatant lie apparently concocted by a wannabe politician desperate for votes in a campaign  season.

In the first place this character is an obscure individual who in 2015 had neither a recognizable name nor political clout.  The point has to be clearly made that former President Jonathan has never met this man who was obviously not relevant in the national politics of 2015, let alone seek to offer him bribe.

If the former President did not offer anyone bribe, having clearly acquitted himself as a man who does not believe in desperate politics,  how on earth could he have sought to compromise an individual he didn't even know and who obviously had no means of helping him politically?

Assuming anybody had $5 million dollars to spend to better his political fortune as Mr.  Hamzat claimed, why seek to waste it on man who was just a commissioner prior to 2015, and whose best outing so far is to function as a hand-picked  running mate to a governorship candidate in the forthcoming 2019 elections?

His is obviously the antics of a desperate and dishonest politician seeking to apply subterfuge and outright lies,  believing that such could boost his lowly image,  win him public sympathy and possibly, votes. It is the action of people like Hamzat that conjures up in the minds of Nigerians the Biblical  ‘Mark of the Beast’ to the effect that to be accepted in his party, one must be adept at telling lies.

If this is how Mr. Hamzat wishes to anchor his own political doctrine on lies and name dropping, he should be reminded that those who follow this route do not go far either in politics or personal growth. This definitely should not be  the character and colour of a person who wants to become a governor or deputy governor of a state,  lest we lose all hope in the expectation that we have all it takes to rescue our country from the bleak future that stares it in the face.

What we know about liars is that they always leave a loose end which readily exposes them for who they are.  Otherwise, Mr. Hamzat should have been bold enough to tell Nigerians where the money was presented to him and in whose presence the offer was made. We have always made the point that there should be a limit to these lies,  if we must make progress as a democratic nation. Nigerians are not fools. It is high time those in positions of responsibility stopped running this country on lies.

2019: Buhari Presides Over a Failed Government - PDP

2019: Buhari's New Year Message
Will Be Empty Promises- PDP

The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) says President Muhammadu Buhari should not bother with any New Year Message, as he has nothing to offer Nigerians after his promise of more hardship in the coming year.

PPCO insists the message will be a rehash of fake promises which had been foisted on Nigerians since December 2015.

The PPCO says President Buhari has already admitted failure in governance, that he has no solutions and as such will only dwell on fictitious claims and cosmetic patriotism, in an effort to sway Nigerians and divert their attention from his failures and insensitivity to their problems.

However, in case Mr. President considers the New Year message, a ritual which he must fulfill, he should use the occasion to provide answers to the allegations that he soiled his hands in the alleged corrupt acquisition of Etisalat Nigeria and Keystone Bank PLC by members of his family under the official cover of his Presidency.

No New Year message would be more apt than Mr. President explaining how his family members came about the sum of N1.032 trillion for this scandalous acquisition.

Furthermore, President Buhari should use his New Year message, if any, to clear the issues of the alleged forgery of his WAEC Certificate, alleged looting of N33 billion meant for the welfare of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and the diversion of the repatriated $322 million by agents of his Presidency, under the guise of sharing the fund to the poor.

President Buhari may also wish to use the occasion to provide answers for the false performance claims in his 2019 budget speech that led to his being booed by federal legislators.

Moreover, instead of harping on his discredited war against corruption, President Buhari should use his New Year message to explain the whereabouts of the over N11 trillion that disappeared from government coffers under his watch, including the N9 trillion detailed in the leaked memo at the Nigeria National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC), which his administration has refused to account for.

President Buhari must not continue to play the saint when his administration has skeletons in its cupboard. He must provide answers to Nigerians. If not, he should not bother sending any New Year message as the nation has moved beyond mere rhetoric, blame game and false promises, which have been the hallmarks of his administration.

DINO: Don't Turn Nigeria Into Police State - PDP Tells Buhari

December 30, 2018

Press Statement

Dino: Don’t Turn Nigeria Into Police State, PDP Tells Buhari
…Raises Alarm Over Dino’s Safety

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says with the continued lockdown on the residence of Senator Dino Melaye by the police, the Muhammadu Buhari Presidency is turning Nigeria into a police state, where those opposed to President Buhari’s re-election are treated like enemies of the state.

The continued siege, which has been widely condemned as unwarranted and provocative, shows that the police under President Buhari, has become an instrument of oppression to subjugate dissenting voices ahead of the 2019 general election.

The party invites Nigerians to note that the only sin committed by its Presidential Campaign Director of Civil Societies,   Senator Melaye, is his return to the PDP and his forthright stand against the misrule of the Buhari administration, which are all well within his rights as a citizen.

Since Senator Melaye, left the APC, the Buhari administration has continued to hound and harass him, as well as the members of his family with trumped up charges, all aimed to silence and put him out of circulation ahead of the 2019 general election.

The PDP has become extremely worried about the safety of Senator Melaye and his family members under police lockdown and charges Nigerians to hold President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) responsible should any harm befall him or any member of his family.

This is particularly against the background of Senator Melaye’s outcry that the police planned to arrest and inject him with poisonous substance.

The PDP hopes that opposition figures such as Senator Melaye will not suddenly become  victims of ‘accidental discharge’, unexplained assassinations or mysterious motor accidents as move on to the general elections.

Buhari Is Plotting To Use Military To Rig 2019 Poll - PDP

December 29, 2018

Press Statement

2019: PDP Rejects Nationwide Military 'Operation Python Dance '
…Accuses Buhari of Plotting To Use Military To Rig Poll

The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) alerts that President Muhammadu Buhari is plotting to use the planned nationwide military 'Operation Python Dance' to legitimize his administration's ploy of using the military to intimidate voters and rig the 2019 Presidential election, having realized he cannot win in a free and fair poll.

This plot is in consonant with the desperation of the Buhari Presidency to foist a siege mentality on the nation ahead of the 2019 general elections, harass voters and create a sense of escalated insecurity, so as to stalemate the electoral process, once it becomes clearer that the All Progressives Congress (APC) was losing.

Our investigation shows that part of the plot is to use the military operation as a subterfuge to unleash heavy security presence to intimidate, harass and instil fear in voters in PDP strongholds across the country and pave the way for the allocation of fictitious votes to President Buhari and the APC.

Further investigation reveals that agents of the Buhari Presidency are working in cahoot with some compromised top officials of the Prof. Mahmood Yakubu-led Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to use soldiers to provide cover for diversion of electoral materials, as well as aid APC agents in their plan to unleash violence and disrupt the electoral process in areas where the PDP is winning.

In spanning the military operation to February 28, 2019, the Buhari Presidency betrayed its anticipation of public rejection or violence, which can only come when a result that does not reflect the actual wish of the people is announced.

Everybody in Nigeria and world over, including the Buhari’s Presidency, know the direction the 2019 presidential election tide is flowing and that Nigerians are eager for a new President, having lost confidence in President Buhari, due to his failures in governance.

The PPCO, therefore, rejects this deliberate attempt by the Buhari Presidency to set our military on collision course with Nigerians, bearing in mind the collateral damage that usually occurs whenever the civilian population clashes with military.

Our nation is a democratic state and we are not in a state of emergency that requires the militarization of our electoral process.

Our military, which is cherished by Nigerians, should therefore foreclose any attempt by the Buhari Presidency to use it to set our country on fire.

All that Nigerians desire at this point is to go to the polls and peacefully elect a new President to reposition our nation and not another round of electoral crisis.

Moreover, the only threat to peaceful election today is the Buhari Presidency, which has been overheating the polity with its official high handedness, clamp down on opposition and desperation to rig the polls.

Finally, if the authorities believe that military steps are genuinely required to ensure peaceful poll in any part of the country, they should recourse to the constitutional approval of the National Assembly and not making impositions as if our nation is under a military regime.

EPL Results Today:

Leicester 0-1 Cardiff

What a win that is for Cardiff! They seemed to be staring down the barrel of defeat when James Maddison stepped up to take a late penalty, but Neil Etheridge saved that before Victor Camarasa won it with a truly spectacular strike deep into added time.

Watford 1-1 Newcastle

The points are shared at Vicarage Road after Salomon Rondon's first-half header was cancelled out by substitute Abdoulaye Doucoure. Watford were on top for long periods but a draw was probably fair after both sides had chances.

Spurs 1-3 Wolves

Not many would have predicted this at half-time. Harry Kane's wondergoal gave the hosts control in the first half, but they sat back after that and Wolves gradually grew in confidence and took their chances when they came. A fantastic showing.

Briighton 1-0 Everton

Brighton hang on to secure a first Premier League win in five attempts thanks to that Jurgen Locadia strike early in the second half. A big win for the hosts while Everton just can't get anything consistent together.

Fulham 1-0 Huddersfield

Aleksandar Mitrovic's late, great finish wins a crucial three points for Fulham as Huddersfield remain bottom of the League.

REVEALED! How Buhari Betrayed Me, Went After Umaru Dikko - Shagari

THE MILITARY INTERVENTION
...How Buhari Betrayed me
...Why he was after Umaru Dikko
“...Our security service, during the period of my tenure, did a wonderful job employing quite efficient methods, through their intelligence, to track down conspiracies against my administration in their early stages before they were hatched. It was only during the latter part of my first term and the beginning of the second term that the military intelligence became suspect...
“Worse still, there appeared to be a cleavage within the army hierarchy itself when these senior officers started quarrelling among themselves for positions. Some of these officers were known to be in league with some influential politicians from within and outside the administration. Consequently, these power-hungry officers and messy politicians quickly factionalized the army into groups of loyalists and suspects. Some of my opponents, notably Waziri Ibrahim, engaged themselves in the dangerous past time of what one may call coup-baiting. Surprisingly, Chief Awolowo did not in any way connection with the military during this time, although some of his supporters could not be absolved...
“As was to be expected, everyone approached on the subject emphatically denied the charge, but pointed fingers at others. It was rather tricky situation which did place me in a kind of dilemma. However, the single exception to the rule was Alhaji Umaru Dikko, the Minister of Transport, who had openly confessed to me about his involvement in barracks politics. This arose from a complaint I received in 1983 from some military top brass who alleged that Umaru Dikko had been spying at them in their houses and was keeping surveillance on their movements. When I confronted Umaru on the allegation, he did not deny the charges but argued that he was doing so in the national interest and according to him, in order to safeguard my own personal security, his own and that of my immediate lieutenants whose lives, he believed, were being threatened by coup-plotters. I quickly dismissed his assertions as unfounded and told him, in no uncertain terms, to stop meddling in what was strictly outside his own competence. He dutifully but grudgingly obeyed.
“Prior to this incident, a senior army officer (Muhammadu Buhari) who had just returned from a course abroad came to lodge a complaint to me when his posting was suddenly changed from the Lagos Garrison, Ikeja Cantonment, to another Command because of what he believed to be political interference in the matter of military postings. He heard rumours, he added, that the change in his posting was prompted by alleged misgiving in his loyalty to the administration. If these were so, he suggested that he would rather resign from the service and go home. Actually, I did not know anything at all about his posting and re-positing, and I told him so. I also assured him of my absolute confidence in him and tried to disabuse his mind about nursing any grievances based upon unfounded rumours and wild allegations. We parted with warm handshake and renewed friendship.
“Soon afterwards, I enquired about this issue with the Chief of Army Staff who confessed to me that he had effected the change of posting, of the particular officer, at the instance of Umaru Dikko who thought that it would be risky to allow such an officer to be so close to the seat of power when he was strongly being suspected of wanting power for himself. I warned the Chief of Army Staff to desist from doing things behind my back and I asserted that matters such as this ought not to have escaped my attention. He however confirmed the loyalty of the officer concerned, but advised that the new posting should remain as arranged for administrative convenience. I agreed.
“Ironically, it was the same officer (Buhari) who later became the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and allegedly ordered, among other things, the abortive forceful repatriation of Umaru Dikko from the United Kingdom through abduction in a crate!...”

Buhari Lacks Integrity to Seek Re-Election - PDP

December 27, 2018

Press Conference

Corrupt Enrichment: Answer Atiku Now, PDP Tells Buhari
…Says President Lacks Integrity To Seek Re-election

The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization declares that President Muhammadu Buhari no longer has the moral standing to seek re-election until he directly answers its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on the revelation that the President has soiled his hands in the alleged corrupt acquisition of Etisalat Nigeria and Keystone Bank PLC.

The PPCO insists that President Buhari should perish the thought of going ahead with his re-election campaign without clearing this pertinent issue, because it directly bothers on his integrity both as a person and the exulted office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The PDP Presidential Campaign challenges President Buhari to explain how his family members came about the sum of N1.032 trillion for this scandalous acquisition.

Nigerians are not interested in mere rhetoric or attempts by the Buhari Presidency to divert public attention from the issue at hand, but demand that President Buhari, who hitherto prides himself as Mr. Integrity, squarely addresses these grave issues in person.

This is not an issue for President Buhari’s aides to howl about in the media, it touches directly on his person, particularly his perception as a symbol of the Talakawas. He must therefore address them on this issue.

It is a norm that he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. President Buhari and his family members have entangled themselves in corruption. Mr. President’s hands can no longer be said to be clean, until he proves otherwise.

The PPCO wants Nigerians and the whole world to note that President Buhari’s refusal to personally address this matter means consent.

We, therefore, dare President Buhari to put forth a denial on this disclosure by our candidate and we will spare no thoughts in furnishing the public with details of his corrupt activities within and outside Nigeria.

Our party has full details of how persons related to President Buhari, by consanguinity and affinity, have been paved the way to loot trillions of naira from government agencies for corrupt acquisition of shares in major companies, purchase expensive property within and outside Nigeria, as well as to finance their very luxury lifestyles, under Mr. President’s cover.

In fact, no Nigerian has made more money in the last three and half years than relations of President Buhari, many of whom have found themselves controlling stupendous wealth frittered from our economy, yet our President is asking Nigerians to get ready for more hardship in the coming year.

Furthermore, our party is privy to the facts of how these relations of the President have been hounding government agencies, major business concerns and intending foreign investors over kickbacks as well as strangulating companies that refuse to accede to their demands.

Nigerians will also recall how the Buhari Presidency muted the case of the Aide of the First Lady, Mr. Baba-Inna, who was arrested in September this year, over accusations of receiving N2.5 billion from politicians, businessmen and women on behalf of the First Lady.

Nigerians can also recall how the Buhari Presidency gagged the confession of one Amina Mohammed, paraded by the Department of State Services (DSS), who stated in public that persons close to President Muhammadu Buhari were involved in serial fraud and looting of public resources under the official cover of the Buhari Presidency.

In fact, there is incontrovertible evidence, as provided by the Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, that President Buhari is not as clean as his handlers want Nigerians to believe.

In October 4, 2010, el-Rufai accused Buhari of corruption in allowing 53 suitcases belonging to his ADC’s father to enter Nigeria unchecked at a time the country was exchanging old currency for new in 1984.

President Buhari should therefore not continue to dress himself in borrowed garb of integrity until he cleans himself of the stinking corruption of his acolytes, family and friends under his cover.

Buhari Insensitive to the Plight of the Masses - PDP

December 26, 2018

Press Statement

Aisha: Atiku’s Show of Love Reflects His Inner Personality
…Knocks President Buhari for Insensitivity, Disdain For Nigerians

The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) says its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s show of  love and intervention in the life of Aisha Haruna, the 13 years old orphan from Daura, Katsina state, who was involved in an inferno, is a direct reflection of his inner personality as a sensitive leader, who cares about the plight of the citizens.

The PPCO laments that President Muhammadu Buhari is detached and aloof from the issues that concern the average Nigerian that he never cared about Aisha’s plight, though she hails from his town, Daura, Katsina state.

It is heartrending that President Buhari, who postures as pro-poor, took no step to show an iota of concern for a citizen like Aisha in her critical condition which was in the public domain, yet he is expecting votes from her distraught parents and relatives.

The fact remains that Nigerians have made up their minds to rally behind Atiku Abubakar, who understands and identifies with them in their challenges and this determination is daily reinforced by the continued show of incompetence, disdain and arrogance by the Buhari Presidency

While President Buhari cares less about the good of Nigerians but promised them more hardship in the coming year, the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, offers hope, having worked out templates to revamp our economy, revitalize our ailing infrastructure and raise the living standard and purchasing powers of all Nigerians.

The PPCO commends Atiku Abubakar for intervening in the medical care for Aisha and joins millions of other well-meaning Nigerians in praying for her life and speedy recovery so that she and her relatives can go back to their normal lives.

CAN Asks El-Rufai To Stop Killers Under His Watch

Caution Over Governor el-Rufai’s Threat Against Pastor Enenche on Alleged Hate Speech-CAN
...CAN advises the governor to go after killers not mourners

The attention of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has been drawn to a threat issued by Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State in some online news media over his determination to get the Founder and Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche arraigned in Kaduna over “hate speech” that he allegedly claimed escalated recent killings that rocked Kasuwan Magani on October 18, 2018 that was followed by the assassination of the Agom Adara, Dr Maiwada Raphael Galadima, on October 26, 2018.
While CAN abhors hate speech in whatever form, it is becoming very difficult to determine what constitutes “hate speech” and who should be responsible for assessing what constitutes the hate speech. It has become much difficult to know whose speech is to be regarded as hate speech and which speech should not.
We have carefully read the threat by Governor El-Rufai and his claim to know who is responsible for the “hate speech” that promoted the crises in Kaduna State and his vow to get Pastor Enenche arrested and prosecuted in Kaduna State. We have also examined the video clip of the Pastor and are abreast of all the facts concerning the Kasuwan Magani killings, among others. The main subject of Dr Enenche’s clip which Governor el-Rufai is alleging to be a “hate speech” to us is an outright condemnation of the fate that has befallen the Adara people and Christians in Southern Kaduna through the creation of new emirates namely; Lere, Kagarko and Kujuru. By the creation of these emirates, especially that of Kajuru, the Adara people have been subjugated.
From a careful study of the speech, Pastor Enenche is not the originator of what he spoke about. He said; “ about the middle of this year we heard a Christian first class Chief, that they were told from the news report we heard…” hence the video, he was speaking about was what he read or heard from the news.
While we will continue to condemn hate speech by religious leaders and other Nigerians, we cannot stand and watch our respected leaders being set up for molestation, humiliation and prosecution for an unfounded “hate speech.” We have also followed the speeches of Governor El-Rufai and have felt strongly that he has been engaged in making inciting speeches, but several efforts deployed to draw his attention have been fruitless. His statement that his government had paid herdsmen to stop the killing in his State without any due compensation to the victims of attacks is still fresh in the minds of Nigerians. The questions in the minds of the church is; why is it very easy for government to identify those lamenting over the unabated killings of Christians in Kaduna and other states in the middle belt for persecution? Why is it easy by government to seek to apprehend and prosecute the crying victims and almost an impossible task to bring killers to justice? Why is it easier for the El-Rufai government to know and get “the agents of careless statement...” but most expensive and almost impossible for him to identify the Kaduna killing agents despite years of such continuous killings?  Have the killers of Agom Adara, Dr. Maiwada Raphael Galadima, been apprehended? How long will it take the Governor El-Rufai to apprehend them?
Any attempt to arrest and harass any of our pastors again will be considered as an attempt to silence the voice of the Church and reasoning in our nation. Let the Government defines clearly the difference between what is considered hate speech and advocacy for dying victims of continuous killings in Nigeria. What do you expect from a church leader whose members and fellow citizens are being killed daily without any satisfactory measures to abate the killings? Are we to keep clapping for government while people are being massacred in cold blood?
While we appreciate the fact that no government will want her citizens to be killed, we will admonish Governor El-Rufai to channel his strength towards getting the sponsors and perpetrators of the heinous crimes going on in Kaduna State arrested and prosecuted rather than chasing good Nigerians who are contributing immensely to the peace, growth and development of the nation.
We will encourage the police not to be distracted by those who are after hunting innocent Nigerians but to be focused on getting criminals who are wasting the lives and property of innocent Nigerians with the view of arresting and punishing them and averting further polarization of the nation. The polity is already heated up and polarised along ethnic and religious divides. All of us in leadership have had an inappropriate news item carried or published about us before; it is part of the burden of leadership. The best that could be done in such a circumstance is for the governor to debunk inaccurate news items like he has done. On the basis of the above, we again caution that care must be taken in handling what Pastor Paul Enenche read which he wanted people to pray over. The idea of making Christians endangered species must stop for the sake of peace and unity of this country. We have had enough of troubles in this nation in the past years. We deserve to have our peace.
Kindly help us to disseminate this information to the public through your credible and popular medium.

Thank you for your kind usual cooperation.
Signed
Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, Special Assistant (Media & Communications) to CAN President, His Eminence, Rev Dr Samson Olasupo A. Ayokunle.

Insecurity Is A Testimony Of Buhari's Failure - PDP

December 25, 2018

Press Statement

PDP Condemns Zamfara, Yobe Killings, Charges Buhari To Review His Parade

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) condemns the unabated bloodletting and killing of innocent and vulnerable citizens in Zamfara state by marauders.

The party also laments the invasion of Kukareta in Damaturu, Yobe state, by insurgents, who sacked the area in an attack that led to the killing of a police officer attached to Governor  Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe state.

The PDP is deeply worried and shares in the anguish of the victims and relations of the slain, who daily live with the devastating trauma of the escalated bloodletting and killing of their loved ones, by marauders, who still roam the area in spite of the propaganda and lip service by the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

The party said the ugly situation in our nation today is an undisputed testimony of the failure of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to provide adequate security for Nigerians, especially in the troubled states, despite his promises as well as the huge resources at his disposal to tackle insurgency.

The PDP holds that the situation in Zamfara and other states in the North West, in addition to the heightened insecurity in the North East and North Central in the last three and half years, under President Buhari, shows that it is time for our dear President to review his parade and reappraise his strategy.

Indeed, our nation cannot continue to afford the daily killing and maiming of our compatriots by marauders. This is not the way to go, and we charge President Buhari to end his buck-passing and immediately take up his responsibility as the chief security officer of our country by using the remaining days left in his tenure to address his parade.

In the same vein, the PDP commends our patriotic security agents who are placed on harm's way for their gallantry as they take concrete steps to defend our citizens at this trying time.

While commiserating with the people, the PDP however calls for calm and full cooperation with security agencies to track down and bring the marauders to book.

Finally the PDP urges Nigerians not to despair in the face of the failures of the Buhari administration as the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, offers practical templates that effectively guarantee adequate security in all parts of our country when elected into office next year.

Fani-Kayode Tells Nigerians How To Stop Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists

"If we move out of the country the economy will collapse"- Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, President of Miyetti Allah.

"For God sake pack your bags and go. Nigerians are disgusted and appauled by the number of innocent people that your members have subjected to mass murder, ethnic cleansing and genocide over the last three years.

These boastful and arrogant threats coming from a bunch of ravenous and insatiable vampires must  stop. It is just like a bunch of vultures, rats and cockroaches saying that if they choose not to reside in your home, you will end up being hungry and lonely. It is arrant nonsense.

Nigeria is not and can never be a nation of cow-worshippers and bestial cow-lovers. We do not and can never belong to the cult of the cow.

Any presidential candidate or political party, whether Buhari and his APC, Atiku and his PDP, Gana and his SDP or anyone else, that is not committed to the total eradication and annihilation of the terrorist activities of the Fulani herdsmen cannot be taken seriously and is not worthy of leading Nigeria. Such a candidate will NEVER get my support.

Those that commit genocide, that slaughter women and children, that butcher the servants of God at the alter, that burn down peoples homes and Churches and that drink the blood of babies must be identified, rejected, ostracised and brought to justice.

They must be held accountable for their unbelievably cruel deeds and heinous crimes against humanity. They must be tracked down and caged and the fury and judgement of the Living God must be unleashed on them.

The attempt by some to play down their atrocities and pamper them in the name of getting their votes is a notion and course of action that is utterly sickening, repulsive and repugnant to me. It is like appeasing Hitler and the German Nazis even as they were gassing the Jews: it is unacceptable, unjust and ungodly.

There can be no fellowship between light and darkness. God calls us to resist evil and not pamper it. And let us make no mistake about it: the murdeous Fulani herdsmen are the ultimate manifestation and personification of EVIL!"- Femi Fani-Kayode.

Dogara Preaches Love, Peace at Christmas

Speaker Dogara preaches love, peace at Christmas

..Says love solutions to humanity’s problems

As Christian faithfuls celebrate Christmas in remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ, speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara, has urged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of the season, which is the love of God for humanity.

In a  Christmas message to Nigerians, the speaker noted that it was because of the love of God for humanity that He allowed His son to come into the world for the ultimate goal of redemption, saying such selfless love is what Christians should reflect in their dealings with one another.

He  further stated that God’s solution to humanity’s problems is love and embracing God’s Love will put an end to wanton killings, ethnic and religious clashes and other evils  that retard the growth and development of the country.

He also urged everyone to be steadfast in prayer for Nigeria and use this occasion to practice the love of God by sharing whatever they have with the needy and underprivileged in the society.

Hon Dogara wished everyone a peaceful and joyful celebration.

Yoruba Cannot Be Fooled - PDP tells Osinbajo

December 23, 2018

Press Statement

2023: 'End Your Pipe Dream Now’ – PPCO Tells Osinbajo

The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) has counseled Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to wake up from his pipe dream of becoming the President of Nigeria in 2023, as President Muhammadu Buhari, who he is anchoring on, will be voted out of office in February 2019.

It is laughable that Prof. Osinbajo is swimming in wishful thinking, even when it has become obvious that he and President Buhari will no longer have any political relevance after May 29, 2019, given their dismal performance in an administration that is reputed as the worst, the most corrupt and the most abhorred in the history of Nigeria.

Is it not ludicrous that Prof. Osinbajo thinks he can sweet-talk and cajole the people of the Southwest to shed their already established support for PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, when they are the worst hit by his poor showing in the incompetent Buhari administration, particularly, as the head of the failed economic team that plunged our economy into recession.

Our ambitious Vice President in his political hallucination has failed to realize that the South West is politically sophisticated and cannot fall for his gimmicks and self-serving venture.

What should rather occupy Prof. Osinbajo’s mind, now that it is clear that he is leaving office in May, 2019, is how to answer for the mindless looting of our patrimony, particularly the alleged looting of huge part of the N33 billion meant for food and welfare of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North East, while he was acting President in 2017.

Prof. Osinbajo should be getting ready with answers to the alleged diversion of huge funds in kickbacks on the 'trader moni' scheme, as well as the alleged looting of emergency funds in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to finance the wasteful lifestyle of APC leaders and his benefactors.

Furthermore, our dear Vice President, as a preacher and professor of law, should be ready to explain why he has not been outspoken against the killings and bloodletting in the country, the unending repression, human rights violations, disobedience to court orders, crass nepotism, killing of our soldiers and humongous corruption in the government he features prominently.

The PPCO, indeed, finds it very unfortunate and completely appalling that Osinbajo has no concern about the plight and sufferings of Nigerians under President Buhari and that he wants them to continue to suffer for another four years, just for him to achieve his unattainable personal ambition of being a President.

NASS Passes Vote of No Confidence on Buhari - PDP

Text of Press Conference By The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO), Today, December 19, 2018 On Issues of Urgent National Importance.

Gentlemen of the Press, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) has again called you up to highlight the continued rejection of President Muhammadu Buhari and his All Progressives Congress (APC) by Nigerians, as well as further to expose the   corruption and fleecing of innocent Nigerians by the Buhari Presidency to fund its ill-fated 2019 re-election bid.

1. Vote of No Confidence On President Buhari By the National Assembly

This morning, Nigerians across the country as well as the international community witnessed the expression of vote of no confidence, direct booing, jeering and rejection of President Muhammadu Buhari by members of the two chambers of the National Assembly at the 2019 budget presentation.

The spontaneous action of the lawmakers, at the joint session of the National Assembly, is a resounding and unambiguous vote of no confidence and unmistaken expression of President Buhari’s rejection by the Nigerian public, across the divides, who are fed up with his incompetent, divisive and corrupt administration, which has brought so much hunger, starvation, escalated violence and bloodletting to our country.

Today’s open rejection of President Buhari by the lawmakers, representing all the federal constituencies and senatorial zones across our country, shows that Mr. President no longer enjoys the support of Nigerians across the country; that he no longer has any political foothold and only awaits a crushing defeat in the 2019 general election.

What else do Nigerians want from a President, who has openly confessed his lack of capacity to find solutions to the myriads of problems his administration brought and on that note promised Nigerians more sufferings and hardship in the coming year?

This is more so as his scripted presentation at the budget session was full of false performance indices, claims of non-existent projects, half-truths, bogus fiscal projections, beguilements and new list of fake promises, which Nigerians have since seen through.

As usual, Mr. President dwelt on fictitious figures, unrealistic projections and could not give a credible account of the performance of the 2018 budget, which like other annual budgets, since he came into office has remained unimplemented, due to sheer incompetence and humongous corruption in his Presidency. No wonder he was booed by the lawmakers.

In the budget, it is ridiculous that Mr. President can defend N60 million liters of fuel as daily consumption by vehicles in Nigeria whereas before he was elected into office, he publicly declared that the use of 30 million liters of fuel per day was a fraud. Is not also ludicrous that between 2015 and now, the figure of daily consumption of fuel has doubled in the same economy that has witnessed a secession twice under his watch?

Mr. President could not give cogent explanation on the handling of defence budgets under his watch particularly in the face of allegations of diversion of military funds to fund his re-election bid as well as the neglect of our troops, leading to the killing of hundreds of our soldiers fighting insurgency in the North East.

Furthermore, the PDP invites all to note how President Buhari continued to refer to our citizens, during the budget presentation, as “the Nigerian people”, stance, which shows his distance and lack of connection with compatriots.

By today’s experience, it should be clear to Mr. President and the APC that the game is up and that Nigerian are no longer ready to accept an incompetent administration that thrives only in propaganda, falsehood and deceit. Our citizens are very eager to usher in a new era of credible, transparent and competent government; the very reasoan they are rallying behind the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

All that is now left for President Buhari and the APC is to accept their rejection and end their schemes to drag the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security forces into their desperation to cause confusion and rig the election as such will be firmly resisted by Nigerians.

2. Official Extortion And Fleecing of Nigerians.

This morning, Nigerians were again shocked at the revelations that President Buhari and his All Progressives Congress (APC) are seeking to fleece unsuspecting and already impoverished Nigerians through the extortion of N1.2 billion from poor beneficiaries of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)’s Anchor Borrowers’ Programme, to fund Mr. President’s ill-fated 2019 re-election bid.

The PDP completely rejects this act of corruption and intimidation of our citizens and attempt by President Buhari to receive financial kickback from beneficiaries of government intervention in violation of our financial regulations.

Intelligence at our disposal also reveals that this is yet another scheme by the Buhari Presidency siphon public funds and surreptitiously route same to Mr. President’s campaign.

To achieve this ignoble scheme, the Buhari Presidency and the APC in their desperation went ahead to shamefully constitute a phony Anchor Borrowers Farmers’ Association, which they claimed has 12 million members, and through which they plan to siphon and launder money from public coffers to fund President Buhari’s campaign.

Our check reveals that no such association exists and that the membership figure is just a ruse, another fabrication and attempt at procurement of fake endorsement by the Buhari Presidency, to create an impression of that Nigerians are supporting President Buhari and the APC.

Further investigation reveals how the Buhari Presidency has been secretly diverting huge part of various social intervention funds to the Buhari campaign and handing paltry sums to Nigerians, as well as how agents of the Presidency carrying out their vote buying project, particularly the Trader-moni scheme, have been illegally collecting 10 percent kickback from beneficiaries.

Now that Nigerians have refused to contribute to Mr. President’s doomed re-election bid, due to his failure in office, the Buhari Presidency and the APC are seeking ways to legitimize their stealing of public funds to finance their campaign and service the wasteful lifestyles of their leaders.

The PDP challenges President Buhari to speak out and not continue to keep mum on alleged looting of over N11 trillion from the public coffers, including the diverted N9 trillion, as detailed in the leaked NNPC memo, to finance his campaign.

Mr. President is also challenged to speak out on the alleged fleecing of Nigerians to the tune of N2.6 trillion through hidden illegal N48 tax per liter of petrol which Nigerians have continued to bear since the fuel price increased from PDP subsidized cost of N87 to presumably unsubsidized cost of N145.

Mr. President should not continue to feign ignorance of these allegations bothering directly on corruption in his Presidency, as keeping quiet will not help him in the 2019 general election. This is because Nigerians have seen through the lies, deception and contrivances of his administration and are not ready to allow such to continue in 2019.

PDP Expresses Shock Over Badeh's Murder

December 19, 2018

Press Statement

PDP Expresses Shock Over Badeh’s Murder
…Demands Immediate Investigation

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expresses shock over the gruesome murder of former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Air Chief Marshal (ACM) Alex Badeh (rtd), on Tuesday, by yet to be identified gunmen, describing it as a national loss.

The party said the ambush and killing of a military officer of ACM Badeh’s status has heightened fears and apprehensions, on the level of insecurity in the country, particularly, the safety of average citizens, under the incompetent and insensitive Buhari administration.

Furthermore, the PDP notes that the murder of the former CDS, came ahead of his opening of defence, in January next year, in the N3.9 billion military fund case preferred against him by the APC-led Federal Government.

The PDP therefore demands a wide-ranging investigation into the killing to unravel those behind the dastardly act as well as the motive behind their action.

The party recalls the killing of former Chief of Army Administration, Major General Idris Alkali, in Plateau state as well as the horrific murder of over 100 of our gallant soldiers in Melete, Borno state, by insurgents and stated that President Buhari has failed woefully as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

PDP insists that our nation is drifting and gradually assuming the status of a failed state and urges President Buhari to spend the few  months left of his administration to provide a leadership that will secure respect for our territorial integrity and the lives of our people.

Our party notes further that the failure of President Buhari is whittling the confidence of the citizens in our nationhood.

The PDP describes ACM Badeh as a fine and patriotic officer, who made various sacrifices towards the security, unity and stability of the nation, particularly as the Chief of Defence Staff, adding that his killing is a monumental loss to the nation.

The party condoles the Badeh family, the Government and people of Adamawa state and prays God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss, while urging our security forces to immediately swing into action and leave no stones unturned until the killers are brought to book.

Okupe Releases 43 Achievements of PDP, Challenges APC

2019: Doyin Okupe releases 43 achievements of PDP, challenges APC

Doyin Okupe, a former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan, has listed the achievements of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, administration for 16 years.

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has widely criticised and blamed PDP for problems experienced in the country.

Recently Garba Shehu, while speaking when he featured on Sunrise Daily, a programme of Channels Television, said the refusal of Jonathan’s government to cooperate with the transition committee led to delay in appointments.

But reacting, Jonathan, in a statement by his media aide, Ikechukwu Eze, said the former president should not be blamed for the failure of Buhari to appoint ministers early enough in the life of his government.

Reacting to supposed blame game by APC, Okupe took to his Twitter page to release forty-three (43) achievements of the PDP administration.

He further urged APC administration to list its achievements and make a comparison.

His post read: “They said in 16years PDP did nothing, here is a quick reminder of some of the achievements of PDP from 1999 to 2015: If you like, include #BokoHaram if it’s what you continue with.

University Don Bags Two Years Jail Term for Sexual Harassment

At last! OAU ‘sex-for-marks’ lecturer, Prof. Akindele bags two year jail term

Adewale Adetoyese
A former lecturer in Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, Professor Richard Akindele who was earlier dismissed for allegedly asking for sex to pass one of his students, Monica Osagie has been sentenced to two years in prison.

Eyewitnessreporters gathered that Justice Maurine Onyetenu of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, gave the ruling on Monday.

The accused had changed his 'not guilty' plea to 'guilty' after which the prosecutor, Mr. Shogunle Adenekan announced that all parties involved have reached a plea bargain and pleaded for a suspended sentence for the accused.

However, Justice Onyetenu said “the plea bargain is not absolute. The court still have discretion. “This kind of issue is too rampant in our tertiary institutions. We send children to school, they come home telling us that lecturers want to sleep with them.

"We can not continue like this. Somebody has to be used as example. Even primary schools pupils are complaining. Telling me to suspend sentence does not arise. Plea bargain does not arise. May be the case continue to occur and reoccur because someone has not been used as example. It s time for the court to start upholding the right of the children, especially female students. The case is endemic."

Counsel to the defendant, Mr. Francis Omotosho, informed the court that the defendant has lost his job and has learnt his lesson.

Questions For Buhari Over Double Identity - Fani-Kayode

ARE YOU BUHARI OR ARE YOU JUBRIL?

“One of the questions that came up today in my meeting with Nigerians in Poland was on the issue of whether I‘ve been cloned or not. The ignorant rumors are not surprising. When I was away on medical vacation last year a lot of people hoped I was dead. I can assure you all that this is the real me!”- President Muhammadu Buhari, 2nd December, Krakow, Poland.

Some are convinced by these words from the man who says he is Buhari but there are still many who, like the biblical Thomas, have their doubts.

I can hardly blame them because a clone will not say that he is a clone and neither will a body-double say he is a body-double.

It is in the same way that a vampire will not say he is a vampire, a tyrant will not say he is a tryrant, a genocidal maniac will not say he is a genocidal maniac and a mass murderer will not say he is a mass murderer.

And neither will an ethnic supremacist or religious bigot ever admit to being an ethnic supremacist or a religious bigot. The blanket denial of ugly and hidden truths is the first law of the scoundrel and the natural habitat of the dictator.

Such is the way of those that have been intoxicated with power and that live by deceit, cunning and guile: they lose all sense of logic, reason and rationality and they flourish in a dark world of intrigue, subtefuge, deception, delusion and illusion.

Seven examples will suffice: Adolf Hitler claimed to be a democrat, Pol Pot claimed to be God-fearing, Atilla the Hun claimed to be an angel, Ghengis Khan claimed to be benevolent, Josef Stalin claimed to be a deliverer, Idi Amin claimed to be the messiah and Augusto Pinochet claimed to be a peacemaker yet history recalls that all seven were nothing but hideous bloodthirsty monsters and cold-blooded mass murderers.

An eighth example is that of the reigning Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman, who, in the light of mounting evidence to the contrary, claims that he is a just and compassionate ruler who had nothing to do with the gruesome murder and dismemberment of the American-based Saudi journalist, Jamal Khasshogi in the Saudi Arabian embassy in Turkey.

If there was ever a case of wilful self-delusion, unadulterated mendacity, byzantine intrigue and good old-fashioned double-speak, this is it. Sadly such deceitful, sociopathic and barbaric behaviour is not limited to those distant climes.

Many of those in Nigerian politics also betray this trait and are also afflicted with this sad and sorry disposition.

There is always a hidden truth, an angle, a grey area or an unseen dimension to everything that a Nigerian leader or politician says or does. It is in the light of this that I submit the following.

If President Muhammadu Buhari really wants us to believe that he is not Jubril Aminu Al Sudani I challenge him to have a two-hour inter-active no-holds barred live media chat on national television.

I challenge him to take off his hat and let us examine his head and hair.

I challenge him to let us measure his ears and inspect his earlobes.

I challenge him to conduct a one hour non-stop conversation in Fufude, the Fulani language, on national television.

I challenge him to explain how it is that he is now a good deal shorter in height than he was two years ago.

I challenge him to tell us how it is that two years ago he looked like his Minister of Information's (Lai Mohammed's) grandfather, but today he looks like the Minister's grandson.

I challenge him to explain why he has not been going back to the United Kingdom for regular medical check-ups after his "miraculous" recovery from a strange and debilitating illness that ravaged and wrecked his body and that almost sent him to his grave.

I challenge him to call out Eric Stuart Joyce, the former British MP, former Army officer and former MI6 agent, for declaring him dead sometime last year and for accusing the Nigerian intelligensia, authorities, media, intelligence agencies and ruling elite of being complicit in the conspiracy and the Nigerian people of being the most gullible and naive in the world.

I challenge him to explain why he did not appear with any of the key world leaders in any of the official pictures during his last trip to Paris.

I challenge him to explain why President Donald Trump described him as "lifeless" and ordered his staff never to bring him before him again.

I challenge him to explain why the First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, claims that two faceless, nameless, shadowy, strange and all-powerful individuals, whose shoes other government officials "lick", are running the affairs of our country and not him.

I challenge him to explain why he has refused to give one formal press interview to Nigerian journalists and on Nigerian soil for the last two years.

I challenge him to deny the fact that body-doubles were often used in the civilised world during the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and 1990's for security reasons and they often represented Presidents, Prime Ministers and Heads of State at official functions and events.

Finally I challenge him to tell us whether it was a coincidence that Haibu Almu, the Nigerian Consul-General to the Sudan and NIA agent that allegedly discovered Jubril Aminu Al Sudani and proposed him as a credible and convincing body-double for the ailing Buhari in 2016, was suddenly knifed to death in Khartoum in May 2018 just a few weeks after his alleged role in the whole sordid "body-double" saga was made public.

I do not believe that Buhari is a clone but I do believe that the body-double allegation and rumour is worthy of our attention and consequently needs to be thoroughly investigated, explored and examined.

Though I cannot vouch for the veracity of this allegation and rumour one thing is clear: a significant number of Nigerians do not believe that the man in Aso Rock Villa is the Buhari that they know and, rightly or wrongly, their perception is that there is something fishy going on.

Given their disposition and suspicions, I submit that there is only one course of action that can settle this raging issue conclusively and bring closure to it: a DNA test organised and administered by a highly respected and certified foreign medical practitioner who must be jointly approved and appointed by the World Health Organisation, Medecins Sans Frontieres
and the Red Cross and who must conduct this crucial assignment under the direct supervision and auspices of the United Nations.

A jocular and dismissive statement from the distant shores of Poland saying "I am not a clone" will not make this matter go away.  And neither will a predictable affirmation from the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Chris Ngige, that the President is the real Buhari provide the necessary evidence or assurance.

We demand to know the true identity of the person presiding over the affairs of our nation and, if it is indeed Jubril Aminu Al Sudani, we wish to know where our beloved President Muhammadu Buhari is and what they have done with him.

No matter how absurd these questions may appear to be to some, this is a democracy and we have a right to ask them.

Yet the truth is that nothing surprises me anymore in Nigeria and consequently I believe that anything, including the absurd, is possible.

If we can elect a man that cannot produce (and in my view never had) a WAEC certificate as President and one that can celebrate the fact that he was awarded an "attestation certificate" from WAEC in 2018 at the ripe old age of 80 (yes 80), then the assertion that we are being ruled by a body double is entirely possible and cannot be completely ruled out.

That is how degenerate and degraded our country has become over the last three years and six months.

The worst atrocity that the President, the Federal Government and the ruling APC party has inflicted on us as a people over the last 42 months is not the genocide that we have suffered under them, it is not the mass murders and it is not the ethnic cleansing.

It is not the fact that our country is now the most dangerous place for women to give birth to in the world, it is not the fact that we now have the highest illiteracy rate in the world and it is not the fact that more Nigerian children are out of school than any other country in the world.

It is not the fact that Nigeria now has the highest number of child brides and practising pedophiles in the world, it is not the fact that there are now more beggars in the streets of Nigeria than any other country in the world and it is not the fact that Nigeria is now the highest producer of HIV positive babies in the world.

It is not the fact that 40% of our people and 70% of our graduates are now unemployed, it is not the fact that 50% of Nigerians are now living in extreme poverty, it is not the fact that our stock market has lost over 2 trillion naira in one year and it is not the fact that our country is now the poverty capital of the world.

It is not the fact that we are now the third most terrorised nation in the world and it is not the fact that we are now home to the first and fourth most deadly terrorist organisations in the world.

It is not the fact that over the last three years and six months the naira has depreciated by over 150% and it is not the fact that our government is attempting to bribe voters with public funds in the name of "trader-moni".

It is not the humiliation, abuse of power and vengeful and vicious persecution that those of us that dared to resist them over the last three years and six months, that had the courage of our convictions and that remained loyal to our party have been subjected to.

It is not the storming of homes, arbitrary arrest and unlawful detention of key opposition figures, it is not the harassment of their family members or the freezing of their bank accounts and it is not the fact that we have sank lower than ever before in our entire history on Transparency International's international corruption index.

It is not the fact that Priti Patel, a British Member of Parliament and the United Kingdom's former Minister of State for International Development, has warned foreign investors not to invest in Nigeria because the Government refuses to obey court orders and it is not the fact that the International Criminal Court at the Hague (ICC) has accused the Nigerian military of committing crimes against humanity.

It is not the fact that we are now more divided than ever before along religious, ethnic and regional lines and it is not the fact that the Federal Government has destroyed our economy and thrown 14 million people into penury and unemployment over the last three years.

It is not the fact that they have emboldened and strengthened Boko Haram, it is not the fact that law and order has broken down under their watch and it is not the fact that they have consistently nurtured, supported, assisted and protected the cruel and murderous herdsmen.

It is not the fact that they have lied to the Nigerian people and to the world that they have defeated Boko Haram, it is not the fact that the West African branch of ISIS now carries out terrorist operations in various parts of our country and it is not the fact that a new and utterly ruthless Malian militia now carries out terrorist operations in the north west.

It is not the fact that they have insulted CAN, marginalised Christians and humiliated the Church and it is not the fact that they are shielding and protecting military officers and Boko Haram members who committ atrocities.

It is not the fact that they have slaughtered thousands of Shiite Muslims and it is not the fact that they have demonised IPOB, labelled it a terrorist organisation, butchered thousands of its youths and sought to destroy it even though its members have never threatened violence, attacked or killed anyone, waged an armed conflict on the stateor carried guns.

It is not the fact that 13.5 million Nigerians voted without a PVC in the 2015 presidential election and that 75% of them did so in the states where Buhari "won".

It is not the fact that they have wilfully refused to sign the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, it is not the fact that they have blatantly refused to heed the patriotic call for restructuring of the country and it is not the fact that they have looted, stolen and plundered more public funds than any other government in the history of our country.

It is not the fact that one of the greatest sons of Africa and one of the most respected and revered world leaders and elder statesmen that has ever lived, President Olusegun Obasanjo, recently and rightly said when commenting on the performance of the Buhari administration that "only a fool will sit on the fence or be neutral when his or her country is being destroyed with incompetence, corruption, lack of focus, insecurity, nepotism, brazen impunity and denial  of the obvious".

It is not the fact that every single Nigerian former Head of State and President has given the Buhari administration a vote of no confidence and has refused to endorse them for a second term.

As frightful, scandalous and unacceptable as all these failings are, not a single one of them demeans, diminishes and damages us more than the possibility that, for the first time in our history and indeed the history of the entire world, a massive multi-religious, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural nation such as ours is saddled with a President that many genuinely believe is not who he says he is and that some believe is a foreigner and a body-double!

My Runningmate Did Not Resign - Duke

My running mate did not resign – Donald Duke
The Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Donald Duke has cleared the air over a rumour that his running mate has resigned.

He said his running mate is still Shehu Gabam, and not Junaidu Mohammed, as being peddled around, rendering such news as fake.

Mohammed, a Second Republic lawmaker, stepped down as the Deputy National Chairman of the SDP but was erroneously reported as Duke’s running mate.

Junaid, who is one of the fiercest critics of President Muhammadu Buhari, told reporters that he decided to step down because of the “many hassles of the SDP.”

He said he had written letters to the Chairman of the party, Chief Olu Falae; and Duke but insists he is still a member of the party.

“It is true. I stepped down a while ago because of the many hassles.

“I also resigned as deputy national chairman. I have written to Chief Olu Falae and Mr. Donald Duke. However, I have not resigned from the party.”

INEC, Buhari Plot to Rig With Voting in Chad, Niger - PDP

December 13, 2018

Press Statement

PDP Accuses INEC, Buhari of Plotting to Rig With Illegal Polling Centers In Chad, Niger

The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO), condemns in unambiguous terms, the alleged plot by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Muhammadu Buhari Presidency to rig the 2019 general elections by creating illegal polling centers in Chad and Niger Republic.

The PPCO describes the plot by INEC and President Buhari to secretly create polling centers outside the shores of our country, in total violation of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), as inexcusably criminal and exposes part of the plot to corrupt our electoral system and massively rig for President Buhari.

President Buhari, INEC and all Nigerians know that there are no provisions for Diaspora voting under our system. By the extant laws guiding elections in Nigeria, it is very clear who is eligible to vote, as well as the centers statutorily designated for elections. There is no provision for any special arrangement whatsoever.

It is therefore reprehensible that President Buhari, in his desperation to rig the elections, is now trying to hide under the guise of making special provision for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) outside the country, to illegally create rigging centers outside our country and import contrived figures into the election results.

This clandestine arrangement further validates the alarm earlier raised by the PDP, in April this year, of INEC’s plot to secretly create 30,000 illegal polling centers in some remote areas, through which they plan to allocate millions of votes to President Buhari and the APC.

Nigerians can now see that the APC and its candidate are not committed to peaceful, credible, free and fair election. Having realized that there is no way he can win in a peaceful and credible election, Mr. President is now seeking means to enmesh the 2019 elections in constitutional crisis, public confusion and trigger an imminent violence that is capable of derailing our entire democratic process.

Moreover, by seeking to open polling units outside the country, the Buhari administration has now agreed that it does not have full control of Nigerian territory and cannot provide security for Nigerians to freely participate in the elections.

If President Buhari is in any way inclined towards diaspora voting, he should send an appropriate bill to the National Assembly for approval to accommodate not only Nigerians in Chad and Niger Republic, but also those in other sub-Sahara countries as well as Europe, America and other parts of the world, who have been agitating for Diaspora voting.

Finally, the PPCO cautions the Buhari Presidency and INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, not to set our country on fire by engaging in provocative actions in a desperation to rig the 2019 Presidential election for President Buhari.

We Never Endorsed Buhari For Second Term - CAN

We Never Endorsed Buhari For Second Term - CAN

Our attention has been drawn to a news story published by an online that has become notorious for publishing fake stories. According to the story, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari for the second term in office after CAN had met with some 14 Presidential candidates in Abuja. There was nothing like that, either before, during or after the parley. At the tail end of the programme, the CAN President, His Eminence, Rev Dr Samson Ayokunle, who briefed the press, did not say any of the candidates has been endorsed.

His words: “The motive is not to take for granted the 2019 elections. 2019 Nigeria will depend on next year’s presidential election. That is, how free and fair it is going to be.

“The church cannot take the back seat in this situation because it can only prosper when Nigeria prospers. If the election is not free and fair, then, all Nigerians, including the church, will be in trouble.

“So, we decided to reach out to the presidential candidates to ask them their credentials for aspiring to the highest office in the land. Also, to interrogate their plans for all, including the church. We also brought them together to speak to their consciences so that they don’t set this nation on fire.

When asked of the outcome of the parley, Rev Ayokunle had said, “We are going to draw our conclusion after we have finished our interview.”

Speaking on President Buhari’s decline of assent to the Electoral Act amendment, CAN President said, “The Executive and the National Assembly should put their house together, whenever there is this kind of disagreement or a stalemate,  the executive and the legislature should come together as partners  in progress to mutually find a way forward. They can’t afford to play with the future of the country through this forthcoming 2019 general elections. Everything must be done to ensure that the election is free and fair.”

So, where did His Eminence inform these liars and mischief makers that CAN has endorsed President Buhari for a second term? We appeal to members of the public to beware of those who are fabricating this fake news for whatever reasons. We challenge the online platform that published this fake news to provide relevant footages and audio clip to back up their report.

Kindly help us make this known to the public through your popular and credible medium.

Thank you for your usual assistance and understanding.

Signed

Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, Special Assistant (Media & Communications)  to CAN President, His Eminence, Rev Dr Samson Ayokunle.

Northerners Are Beneficiaries of Restructuring

There are no solutions to Nigeria’s problems, says Kukah

Matthew Kukah,  the current bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, says there are no solutions to Nigeria’s problems.

He said all the nation has are coping mechanisms to deal with the problems more appropriately.

Asked if the solution to Nigeria’s problems is the restructuring of the nation, Kukah said: “Anybody pretending that restructuring is the solution to our problems… it isn’t, because there are no solutions.

“They are coping mechanisms that you can design.

“People focus on power, but the irony now, if we don’t know, is that somebody has written a fine book, we are seeing the end of power in the way and manner that we understand it.

“Here in Nigeria, people think of power and they think about it in the relation to the ability to give a big cheque, the ability to sign a contract, ability to people in  NNPC, ability to give oil wells.

“This is absolute nonsense because it doesn’t carry with it the moral authority. The most important thing, of course, is that… ok, look at the day Mark Zuckerberg went to Congress, it affected the stock market.

“Now, the mystery, the mistake of power no longer exists; if you talk about restructuring, again, we are captives of vocabulary, and by the time you translate it, then it becomes a problem.

NORTHERNERS ARE BENEFICIARIES OF RESTRUCTURING

Kukah said the north has a lot to benefit from restructuring, stating that the region currently has the highest levels of poverty in the country.

“You know here in Nigeria, when you throw a concept after some time it becomes a weapon. Interestingly, people think that the north, or maybe their body language suggests that they are not interested in restructuring,” Kukah added.

“But in reality, the beneficiaries of restructuring are the northerners. How? Because as the chief of army staff and everybody has accepted, Boko Haram is a product of poverty.

“The poverty level of the southwest are hovering between 13 to 17 percent. What is Zamfara today? It is a cesspit of violence; the poverty levels whether in Zamfara, or Sokoto, or Katsina or Kebbi, the average state in northern Nigeria is hovering between 70 and 80 percent.

“It is actually in our interest to understand that the one thing we have monopolised in Nigeria is poverty, because if being in power were enough, the northerners have been in power more than anybody.

“The power you are talking about is the power of ideas, and you know a lot of things have been so demystified, and I give you an example. 9/11, the destruction of the twin towers, it cost al-Qaeda $500,000.

“From reconstructing the twin towers and finding Osama Bin Laden, it ost the Americans $3.3 trillion. So the world is changing; it is now a world of ideas, it is no longer a world where you are monopolising power because of region or religion”.

The next election in Nigeria will be completely different, stating the rise of political intellectualism in Nigeria’s politics.

Kukah said the debate between Peter Obi, the PDP vice-presidential aspirant and Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo is a sign that Nigeria is at the threshold of a new governance system, where it will be ideas versus ideas — not where a clique decides the next president.

“For me the real restructuring is about the future; how do you create an environment in which everybody can excel”.

PDP Condemns Freezing of Peter Obi's Accounts

December 8, 2018

Press Statement

PDP Condemns Freezing of Peter Obi's Accounts
…Laments Harassment Of Family Members

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) decries the stoppage of transactions on all accounts belonging to PDP Vice presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, wife, his family members and their businesses by agencies of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Since his nomination, Peter Obi, apart from facing series of failed attempts by the APC to destroy his reputation, has also continued to receive all manners of threats and blackmail, including threats to his life and those of his wife and children.

Having realized that the majority of Nigerians are rallying behind the duo of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi as the our Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates respectively, the Buhari Presidency and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have resorted to all manners of machinations, including smear campaigns and direct attacks on their persons and business concerns, in a bid to run them down.

The Buhari Presidency is intimidated by Peter Obi’s resume, particularly, his general acceptance as epitome of fiscal responsibility, frugality and transparency in governance.

Otherwise, why is the Presidency on a wild goose chase in investigating Peter Obi, who left office as Governor of Anambra state five years ago with a nationally acclaimed clean record, intact reputation for frugality, transparency, zero tolerance for corruption and leaving behind a huge saving of N75 billion naira in cash and investments; without owing any salaries, pensions, gratuities or even contractors for contracts executed.

The fact remains that the Buhari Presidency and the APC are merely shadow boxing in their attacks on Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, as their records before Nigerians speak for them.

All discerning Nigerians know that the reasons for an investigation on a man like Peter Obi, is a journey to no where aimed to stifle him of funds as well as attempt to distract our campaign and divert attention from the failures of the Buhari administration.

It is ludicrous that President Buhari would continue to condone the looting of our treasuries by his party leaders and the cabal in his Presidency, which even, the First Lady had even alluded to, only to be using government agencies to attempt to blackmail our Presidential and vice Presidential candidates whose reputations stand clear before all Nigerians.

The PPCO reminds President Buhari that neither he nor Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was in 2015, as candidates, harassed, attacked at the airport or subjected to blackmails, and wonder why they are now employing such tactics just because Nigerians have resolved to do away with them, come 2019.
