France, Italy ClashOver A Nigerian Traveller

French armed officers spark Italy migrant row
Share this with Facebook

Share this with TwitterArmed French customs officers have provoked widespread anger by entering a migrant clinic at a railway station over the border in Italy.
Five officers forced one individual to undergo a urine test at the premises west of the city of Turin on Friday evening, Italian reports say.
The facility is located about 1km (0.6 miles) inside the Italian border.
Political figures in Italy, which has received over 600,000 migrants in the last four years, condemned the move.
The French ambassador, Christian Masset, was called into the Italian foreign ministry in Rome on Saturday to explain what had happened.
"French border agents entered - armed - the clinic run in Bardonecchia, forcing a migrant to a urine test and intimidating our doctor and the mediators and lawyers," the medical organisation which operates a clinic at the premises, Rainbow for Africa, said.
The organisation said the actions of the French officers "seriously interfered" with the work of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Italian institutions.
It added that the French border was becoming "increasingly militarised" and called for a change in France's strict policy in rejecting migrants.
However, the French government responded by saying the officials had asked for permission to enter the centre at the station in the Italian ski resort and were allowed in.
It said that a team of French customs officers on board a train travelling into Italy suspected a Nigerian train passenger with Italian residency was carrying drugs.
French customs officials waited for the passenger to alight from the train and were allowed to use the station at Bardonecchia to obtain a urine sample under a bi-national agreement, it added, insisting that the officers had followed procedure.
The test results came back negative.

Bardonecchia mayor Francesco Avato said he was "very upset" by the news, adding that the French officers "had no right" to go into the property.
Former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta said the incident was "yet another mistake on the issue of migrants".
An MP with the far-right Brothers of Italy, Augusta Montaruli, said the behaviour of the French officers at Bardonecchia was "very serious".
"This is an unprecedented lack of respect towards Italy," she said. "We are not Macron's toilet," she added, suggesting that the French president was treating his neighbour with contempt.
French media suggest that the country's customs officers frequently return migrants to the centre in Bardonecchia if they are found attempting to enter France.
Bardonecchia is the first stop in Italy on the high-speed rail route from Paris to Milan.
Migrants who have crossed the Mediterranean and arrived in Italy sometimes try to reach France by crossing the Italian Alps despite the snow, bad weather conditions and terrain.

YOUR ANSWER IS IN HIS WORD - Joseph Prince

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;
Proverbs 4:20–22
- MARCH 31 -
YOUR ANSWER IS IN HIS WORD
God has given us a sure way to receive the answers to our problems and challenges. It is His Word. Every answer or solution we need is found in the Bible.

Yet, many Christians are not walking victoriously in certain areas of their lives. This is because the devil continuously wages a war of distraction against them. He has managed to take them away from the one thing that can bring them victory—the Word. He will do everything possible to prevent them from opening the Bible because he knows that the Word will deliver them.

The distraction can be very subtle: A lot of things to get done, a lot of TV programs that interest you, or it may take the form of a big problem that makes you feel that you need to focus all your attention on it. The enemy knows that if he can get you to take your eyes off the Word of God, he can keep you from winning the battle.

When you are going through a tough time, it is not enough to know that God’s answer to the problem is “somewhere in the Bible”. Find the scripture in which God has promised the solution. Meditate on it until the truth of that scripture is revealed to you. When you do this, no demon or devil can prevent that word from God from bearing fruit in your life.

Even Jesus Himself used the Word to defeat the devil in the wilderness—“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4) The way to defeat the enemy is with “It is written…”

My friend, there is no substitute for the written Word. God tells us that we will find life and health if we give our attention to His Word and keep it in the midst of our hearts. So get into the Word and let God’s promises abide in you.

Jesus, Our True Passover Lamb - Joseph Prince

…every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.
Exodus 12:3
- MARCH 29 -
JESUS, OUR TRUE PASSOVER LAMB
Jews worldwide celebrate the Passover feast. The feast, which has been kept for generations, commemorates the deliverance of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. (Exodus 12:14) The night before the Israelites left Egypt, the destroyer went through the land killing the firstborn of man and beast. Only those households with the blood of the Passover lamb on their doorposts were spared.

God had told the Israelites, “Take a lamb, a lamb for a household.” It was a lamb for each family. This tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our true Passover Lamb, is for whole families to be saved!

So your children are blessed once you receive Jesus. Your unsaved spouse and grandparents are blessed too, because Jesus is now the Lamb for your whole household. Your unsaved loved ones will enjoy the blessings of the saved. The Bible says that the sanctified will sanctify the unsanctified. (1 Corinthians 7:14) Yes, they will still need to personally receive Jesus as their Savior, but God has marked them for salvation because you are saved!

Now, each household took a lamb which God said had to be without blemish. Why? Because the lamb typified Jesus, the true Lamb of God, who is without sin. John the Baptist said of Jesus, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29)

The lamb was then killed, and its blood put on the two doorposts and lintel of the house (Exodus 12:7), such that it speaks of the cross. Today, the destroyer has to pass over every family that believes in the finished work of Jesus at the cross and puts its faith in His blood, because there has already been a death. The blood proves it — the innocent Lamb for the guilty family!

Jesus also celebrated the Passover the night before He was crucified. But He was instituting the greater Passover. This time, it was not deliverance from Pharaoh and Egypt, but from Satan and his kingdom of darkness! It was not deliverance from slavery in Egypt, but from a life of bondage to sin to a life of liberty as free men in Christ!

Beloved, Jesus, the Lamb of God, sacrificed Himself to set you free. And when the Son sets you free, you are free indeed!

That Your Prayers May Not Be Hindered - Copeland

That Your Prayers May Not Be Hindered
But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another.
– 1 John 1:7, The Amplified Bible

One area of our lives we believers have particularly neglected is the area of our relationships. We simply haven’t heeded the Word of God where they’re concerned. We’ve fussed with one another and criticized one another so much that we’ve hindered the forces that God has given us to make us successful in this world. That’s right! Strife causes trouble in the spirit realm.

It opens the door to the devil. It keeps our prayers from being answered. It even keeps our angels from moving on our behalf!

Peter wrote to husbands in 1 Peter 3:7 to live considerately with their wives, “with an intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but [realizing that you] are joint heirs of the grace (God's unmerited favor) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off” (The Amplified Bible). Husbands and wives. Parents and children. Co-workers. Fellow church members. All of us need to wake up to the danger of strife and start walking in love.

Shed the light of God’s Word on your relationships. Dig in to and get a revelation of the fact that we are all part of each other. Recognize that, as Ephesians tells us, we are one Body and of one Spirit, and be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of that Spirit (Ephesians 4:3-4).

Let the power of God flow in all of your relationships. Learn to walk in the light!

Buhari's Military Protects Criminals - Taraba Gov

Your military seizes villagers’ knives, protects AK-47 bearers – Taraba blasts Buhari
Days after Governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku said the Buhari administration and the military were aware of security threats as well as soldiers’ misconduct but chose to do nothing, the state has again berated the federal government.

Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Dan Bala Abu at the weekend told journalists that although there was relative peace, the state government did not have confidence in the security apparatus of the national government.

He said that the people were continually losing faith in the ability of the present crop of security personal deployed in the state to conduct their affairs in a just and equitable manner.

Abu insisted that the people were not satisfied with the way the military posted to quell the security crisis in Taraba state were harassing them and even collecting their kitchen knives while attackers wielding sophisticated weapons like AK-47 were allowed to go on a killing spree.

“What we are saying is that even the relative peace we are enjoying now, we still do not have confidence in the military.

“We are saying that we have lost confidence in the military because nothing has been done to all our complaints that people were being disarmed and that the military are discriminating in the way they doing it.

“They collect their kitchen knives from them while they leave the other persons who are carrying AK-47. So where is the justice in this matter? That’s why we are saying that we have lost confidence.

“We have the right to say that the people that were posted to restore peace are not doing what is expected of them, that they are biased. It is left for them to find out what is wrong and do what they have do to correct the wrongs being done,” he said.

It would be recalled that retired General TY Danjuma, a Taraba indigene, had advised Nigerians to defend themselves before killer herdsmen wipe them out.

Danjuma, who spoke last Saturday at the maiden convocation ceremony of Taraba State University in Jalingo, the capital, called on the people to rise against “ethnic cleansing”.

“You must rise to protect yourselves from these people, if you depend on the armed forces to protect you, you will all die.

“This ethnic cleansing must stop in Taraba, and it must stop in Nigeria,” Danjuma warned.

Fulani Killings:Defend Yourselves - Emir tells subjects

In an interview with Daily Trust, the first class traditional ruler said he asked his subjects not to “behave like fools” and get killed.

“A month ago, in one area called Anguwan Gajere, the bandits attacked a village, and the villagers fought back, in the process they killed more bandits than the people of the town,” he said.

“All of a sudden, we were told that the people who came were Fulani men, and Miyetti Allah was in the vanguard of protecting them. What we have been preaching to our people is that they should not sit down like fools and watch themselves and their families get killed. If you can do anything to protect yourselves, protect yourself. I will repeat it in front of anybody.

“We can’t be fools to wait for somebody that will not come. Nobody can stop me from telling my people to protect themselves. And that is what we are doing now because the policemen that are in Birnin Gwari cannot protect. The soldiers that are being brought come and sometimes make matters worse. I am also appealing to the president to come and see things for himself, because we are also Nigerians.”

The emir said his people are living in hell adding that the activities of the suspects have stunted all development activities in the area.

“We have been standing up against these people, fighting them in the hope that it would end, all to no avail,” he said.

” I must say that the Kaduna state government, particularly this present governor, has done his best, and I believe he is still doing so, but I think when you say somebody is doing his best, maybe their best is not enough. That is why, when they do something, it would look like they are succeeding, but then, eventually, the bandits find a way to unleash terror on us.”

Don't Make Somalia Out of Nigeria - FG Warns Danjuma, Others

BE CAREFUL! BUHARI TELLS TY DANJUMA, OTHERS:

The Presidency wishes to appeal to prominent Nigerians, who have national influence, to use their influence wisely and not continue to engage in public declarations that are likely to inflame emotional passions and threaten National Security.
The Presidency is very worried that criminal gangs will feel justified in defying legal governing and democratic institutions, and authority of legitimately elected democratic government if unrestrained pronouncements are made.

Silence can be dignified, but sometimes it can be misinterpreted and exploited. It is both shocking and scary to hear the recent comments by a senior citizen calling for Nigerians to defend themselves.

The Presidency commends the Nigerian military’s efforts to maintain peace and stability, despite being pulled in various directions by elements determined to destabilize the country and government for their selfish reasons.

What country would survive if its citizens rise against the country’s organized, trained and equipped military?

We advise former leaders to take advantage of the various fora where people with a history of national security can offer advice to the government without resorting to the exploitation of emotional sentiments.

The civil war motto: “TO KEEP NIGERIA ONE IS A TASK THAT MUST BE DONE” rings very timely at this time in our nation’s history. We must be careful to avoid the mess that destroyed other African countries like Somalia.

PDP: AN APOLOGY FOR WHAT? Asks Fani-Kayode

AN APOLOGY FOR WHAT?
-Femi Fani-Kayode

I received the news of the apology offered to the Nigerian people by my friend and brother Prince Uche Secondus, the National Chairman of the PDP, with mixed feelings.

For goodness sake what is the apology for? Is it the great achievements of President Olusegun Obasanjo or the commendable strides of President Goodluck Jonathan?

In my view Secondus' apology was ill-conceived and unnecessary.

And if PDP must apologise for its 16 years in power then on its own part the Buhari administration and each and every one of the APC leaders must be compelled to pull out a loaded gun, point it at their own temples and blow out their own brains.

It is either that or they must be compelled to take some lethal poison and die a slow and terrible death for the corruption, hardship, penury, bloodshed and evil that they have foisted and inflicted on the Nigerian people over the last three years.

I proudly served in President Obasanjo's government, which was a PDP government, for four years and his achievements were legion.

He inspired and encouraged our people and made them proud to be Nigerians again and he paid off our foreign debt, stabilised the country and pulled us back from the brink of war.

He treated every Nigerian fairly regardless of faith or tribe and he left a total of $64 billion USD in our foreign reserves.

He strengthen the economy and ensured that Nigeria was readmitted into the comity of civilised nations.

He boosted agricultural growth, fought an effective and non-selective war against corruption and ushered massive foreign and local investment into the country.

He built up local industries and assisted the manufacturing sector to prosper and thrive and caused the Stock Exchange to flourish.

He strengthened our Armed Forces, reformed the education sector, improved the health sector, encouraged freedom of speech and ensured that not one journalist, dissident or opposition figure was locked up for expressing his or her views.

He also managed the sharia crisis well and avoided a civil war, pulled us back from the brink of war with the Cameroun, brokered a successful peace deal in Liberia, quelled a military coup d'etat in Sao Tome and Principe and so much more. Is that what we are apologising for?

Anyone may say whatever they like about Obasanjo, and I do not for one minute suggest that he is an angel or that he is infallible, but one thing you can never take away from him is the fact that he remains probably the most patriotic, dedicated and effective leader that Nigeria has ever had and one of the greatest that the African continent has ever been blessed with.

Frankly we need to be careful what we say as a party and we should stop accepting and feeding into the deceitful and mendacious narrative that is being encouraged and fuelled by the Buhari administration and our collective enemies which asserts that we were all hopelessly corrupt and that we never achieved anything at all!

When we say that we are apologising it simply means that we have accepted that false narrative and that is not only a grave error but it is also unacceptable simply because such a narrative has no basis in reality, rationality, reason or truth.

It also does a great disservice to all the former PDP Governments and Presidents over the 16 years that we  were in power.

We may have made a few mistakes here and there and we may not have scored 100 per cent on all fronts but to suggest that we are guilty of some heinous crime for which we are now constrained to apologise is not only misplaced, inappropriate and ill-advised but it is also unwise.

Worst still in the coming months we may be forced to pay a heavy price for it as we become the subject of ridicule and opprobrium.

The only thing PDP needs to apologise for is allowing a bunch of incompetent fools, unlettered rogues and uncivilised sociopaths and sadists like the APC to take power in  2015.

That is what we must ask God and the Nigerian people to forgive us for and nothing else.

My friend and brother Donald Duke, the former Governor of Cross Rivers state, and others have suggested that we must reach out to other political parties and form a broad-based coalition to confront and defeat the APC in next years presidential election.

That is a duty that is incumbent on each and everyone one of us and if we fail in discharging it God will judge us and deal with us ever so severely. Worst still, if we fail and Buhari returns to power next year, as Obasanjo has said, Nigeria will collapse.

If anyone needs to be reminded about just how inept and degenerate Buhari's government is I urge them to kindly consider the events of the last few days and weeks which prove beyond any reasonable doubt that they are nothing but a government of unconceivable liars, professional propagandists,  disinformation merchants and first class scammers.

First came the Dapchi scam. Then came the Martin Luther King award scam. Then came the Lagos bus terminal scam in which Lagos, the largest city in Africa, was put under lockdown and all its roads were blocked simply because Buhari was coming to open a glorified bus stop and attend a colloquium for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's 66th birthday.

For the last few days it has been one merry little photo-shoot and disingenuous scam after the other but two events which struck me more than any of the others were the following.

At the colloquium Vice President Yemi Osinbajo  reiterated his view that the PDP were corrupt and a party of looters and that the looting under President Goodluck Jonathan's government and in the 5 years before Buhari came to power had destroyed the Nigerian economy.

This is a lie from the pit of hell. Osinbajo is not only a disgrace to his country but also a traitor to his Christian faith and Yoruba race.

He is hopelessly corrupt and he is a pernicious liar. All he ever does, apart from being the resident slave and proverbial Uncle Tom in the Presidential Villa, is accuse the PDP and other members of the opposition of looting and corruption yet the government that he heads with Buhari has indulged in MORE corruption in 3 years than the PDP did in 16.

Worst still they delight in wasting their enemies,  shedding innocent blood, locking up their adversaries and encouraging and supporting their friends and associates to indulge in mass murder, genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The second event was the release of the list of names of those who have been described as "looters" by the Federal Government even though not one person has been convicted by a court of law of looting amongst all those whose names were listed.

It is simply ridiculous when a government of murderous slanderers, heartless disinformation agents and vicious scammers says and does things like this.

Simply put it is a clear case of the pot calling the kettle black. Yet before I go into that permit me to touch on an aside.

During the festivities they wheeled out an undoubtedly beautiful black British super-model called Naomi Campbell to pose in pictures with Buhari during his visit to Eko Atlantic whilst he was in Lagos.

Quite what the point of this exercise was I have not been able to grasp or fathom but it is interesting to note that the last African Head of State that this "pretty babe" took a picture with ended up being convicted for crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court at the Hague.

His name was Charles Taylor, the former President of Liberia. I wonder whether history will repeat itself and Buhari will end up in the same place ? I guess that remains to be seen.

It was the day after the pose with Naomi that the Buhari government came up with their list of so-called "looters" which did not have the name of Rotimi "Oloriburuku" Amaechi or any other APC leader or government official on it.

Yet the truth is that no list of looters is complete the names of Muhammadu Buhari, Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Babachir Lawal, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Abdulrasheed Maina, Maikanti Baru, Abdulrahman Dambazzau, Abdullahi Adamu, Mohammed Buratai and all the other APC leaders and Federal Government officials on it.

They are not only thieves but they literally invented the art of corruption and they are experts in it. They are corrupt in body, spirit and soul. They have stolen and misappropriated vast sums of money from the Nigerian state, diverted billions of naira from state government funds for their 2015 presidential campaign and they have snuffed out and destroyed more innocent lives than any other government in the history of Nigeria outside of the civil war.

When, God-willing, we get them out of power and take over we will open the books, expose them for what they are and each and everyone of them will suffer the consequences of their unprecedented graft and monstrous larceny.

One day Nigerians will discover that Buhari is not an angel but a devil and that his entire government and team is infested with demons and incorrigible rogues.

A couple of weeks ago I wrote the following in one of my essays:

"President Buhari forgets that our system of government is meant to be a modern-day democracy where the rule of law prevails, where dissent and a plurality of views and opinion is tolerated and where freedom of expression, freedom of association, the right to life and the right to a fair hearing is held sacrosanct and is guaranteed.

Worst still he believes in demonising and crushing all his enemies and holding on to power at all costs and through any means both fair and foul. If you doubt any of these things please ask Sambo Dasuki, Sheik El Zak Zaky, Nnamdi Kanu or countless others.

He leads a corrupt government which operates double standards and which turns a blind eye to the theft and graft that is being perpetrated by its officials and their friends whilst at the same time persecuting his perceived enemies and labelling them as being corrupt even though there is no real and tangible evidence of that so-called corruption.

And if anyone doubts that Buhari and his government are hopelessly corrupt then they should please read the latest Transparency International report in which they said that corruption in Nigeria is "getting worse under Buhari".

Buhari is a tyrant and a genocidal maniac who believes in conquest and oppression and who has turned a blind eye whilst his subjects are butchered in their thousands by Fulani terrorists who call themselves herdsmen.

He has brought nothing but carnage, division,  destruction, death, poverty and evil to our nation.

On several occasions he has watched silently and done nothing after his security agencies and Armed Forces killed thousands of his own citizens, whether they be Igbo youths that are members of IPOB or Shiite Muslims, after which they are buried in mass graves.

These are crimes against humanity for which he should be charged at the International Criminal Court at the Hague.

Those that are not killed are thrown into prisons or horrific detention cells all over the country where they are tortured and left to rot without any form of due process and against court orders to release them.

If anyone has any doubts about that they should  please read the latest report by Amnesty International.

To add to all these horrors poverty and hunger have ravaged the land. If anybody doubts that they should please read the latest IMF report where the International Monetary Fund claims that Nigerians are "hungrier today" than they have ever been and that more of our people are living below the poverty line than ever before.

The truth is that apart from being monumentally incompetent Buhari is also shallow, sectional, divisive and vindictive and he has proved that he is wholly unfit and undeserving to be the President of a complicated, multi-cultural, multi-religious and multi-ethnic mega-nation like Nigeria which needs to be led and handled with sensitivity, caution and care".

I stand by every word that I wrote in that essay and frankly, as each day passes, things are getting worse for the Nigerian people under his watch.

Permit me to conclude this contribution with the following:

Like President Obasanjo's devastating letter, President Goodluck Jonathan's consistent criticism, President Ibrahim Babangida's public admonition and Vice President Atiku Abubuakar's pungent opposition, General T.Y. Danjuma's bombshell, which was unleashed just few days ago against the Buhari government, was not only timely and courageous but also absolutely necessary.

He rightly alleged that our government, through its Armed Forces, are involved in ethnic cleansing and genocide and he boldly encouraged the people to defend themselves4, defend their territory and defend Nigeria.

He has confirmed what yours truly and a handful of others have been saying for the last two years that the Buhari administration and their security forces collude with the Fulani herdsmen to slaughter and commit mass murder against our people.

This is unacceptable, it will never be forgotten and it will not go unavenged. It is only a matter of time before ALL those involved will suffer the consequences of their barbaric actions and be brought to justice.

Danjuma's concerns, coupled with the admonitions of Bill Gates, the worlds richest man, who has criticised the Buhari government viciously both whilst he was in Nigeria and after he returned home to America, prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Nigeria is in danger and that the Buhari government has messed things up very badly. Like Nero, they are playing the fiddle whilst Rome is burning.

If anyone needs to apologise to the Nigerian people it is Buhari, Osinbanjo and their APC and certainly not the PDP or indeed any of the other political parties.

Looters:PDP Dismisses FG's List

March 30, 2018

Press Statement

Looters: PDP Dismisses FG’s List

..... Challenges APC to Name Convicted Members of PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed the list of alleged "looters" published by the Federal Government as hollow and laughable.

The party said the list is an extension of federal government media trial and challenged it to come up names of its members against whom the federal government had secured convictions.

The list put forward by the Federal Government as purported looters amounts to a cheap blackmail as none of those listed have been indicted or convicted by any court of competent jurisdiction or any panel of enquiry in our country.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement on Friday, said the list issued by the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, only goes to show that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Presidency have no prove of corruption against the PDP.

The party said in its frenzy and desperation, the federal government even included names of individuals who are not standing trial or under investigation for any act of corruption, as well as those who are not even PDP members.

The Buhari-led Federal Government has manifested its frenzy by going after matters that are in court and in which none of the persons have been convicted, thus betraying their wickedness and desperation to mislead the public, the court and divert attention from the heavy looting involving their members.

We are not in doubt that the individuals he has mentioned will take their legitimate stride and pursue appropriate action in the court.

However, attacks on individuals, who are members of our party, does not in anyway detract from the fact that the PDP, as a political platform, is not a party of corruption.

It is unfortunate that the APC and its government under whose watch horrendous sleazes are happening on daily basis and a government that has failed to fulfill the littlest of its campaign promises, can spend a wholesome three years searching for flimsy allegations to discredit our party and its members.

This is a government that is yet to account for $26 billion (N9 trillion) stolen through corrupt oil contracts in the NNPC, N1.1 trillion worth of crude diverted to service APC interests, N18 billion Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) intervention fund stolen by APC officials, including their former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal,  the N10 billion National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for which members of the Buhari cabal were indicted as well as the Mainagate, where the APC government recalled and reinstated an individual indicted for scam running into billions of naira.

This is in addition to cover provided for serving ministers indicted for corrupt enrichment, among whom is a prominent former APC governor from the southsouth, who was indicted by his state for stealing billions of naira to fund President Buhari’s campaign in 2015.

We emphatically say that the PDP is on a rebound and such flimsy allegations by the APC and its horde of looters, who stole humongous wealth from their respective states of the federation to sponsor an incompetent candidate in 2015, cannot stop us from challenging the Federal Government to fulfill its campaign promises.

Since, the APC has decided to draw this attack, we will no longer hold back but appropriately commence a serialization of all looters hiding in APC and the Presidency.

Signed:

Kola Ologbondiyan
National Publicity Secretary

Jesus Delights In You Drawing From Him - Joseph Prince

But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”
John 4:32
- MARCH 28 -
JESUS DELIGHTS IN YOU DRAWING FROM HIM
When people make demands on you or keep depending on you, you may end up stressed, tired and irritable. But this is not the case with Jesus. When people draw from Him, He is strengthened and refreshed!

Jesus is, after all, God. And you honor God when you take your place as man and let God be God by drawing from Him. The One who said, “I did not come to be served, but to serve,” (Matthew 20:28) loves it when you allow Him to minister to you.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus arrived at Sychar, He was wearied from the journey and rested at a well. A sinful Samaritan woman then came to the well to draw water. Jesus ministered to her and she left rejoicing with the promise of living water. The disciples, having returned with food for Jesus, found Him already strengthened and refreshed. When they wondered who had given Him food while they were away, He told them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” (John 4:1–42)

Today, when you draw from Jesus and let Him minister to you, it is “food” for Him that “refreshes” and “strengthens” Him.

But it takes humility for us to allow Jesus to minister to us. We take pride in doing things for the Lord. We want to build our businesses, families and ministries for Him. All that is good, but without Jesus, we are spiritually bankrupt! We really have nothing to give to the Lord and His work. What we need to do first is to receive from Him because when we freely receive from Him, we are able to freely give. (Matthew 10:8)

My friend, Jesus wants to minister to you. Don’t try to minister to yourself. That is pride and self-righteousness. The Pharisees of Jesus’ day, who felt that they did not need Him and that they could provide for themselves, were the ones who could not receive from Him. So bring to Him your needs and say, “Lord, I need to draw from You. I present my needs to You. Minister to me and meet my needs. I cannot, but You can. Thank you, Lord.”

From Believing to Perceiving - Copeland

From Believing to Perceiving
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
– Romans 8:37

The Bible calls us kings and priests (Revelation 1:6) and world overcomers (1 John 5:4). But for most of us, those are just phrases. They haven't become real to us. That's why the devil's been able to hoodwink us into living lives of defeat. It hasn't actually dawned on us who we really are.

If you'll look in 1 Chronicles 14, you'll see that David had a similar problem. He'd been anointed king by the prophet Samuel when he was just a teenager. He'd known for years that someday he'd rule over Israel. Yet somehow, it hadn't really sunk in.

But look what happens in verse 2: "And David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel." Finally, it dawned on him! David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king. I can just imagine David saying to himself, I'm king. I'm actually king! I am king! At that moment, being king ceased to be something David had only thought about. It became something he really was. He could see himself king.

What does that have to do with you and me? Much like David, you and I have been given a royal office. We're just having a hard time believing it. But until we do, we cannot exercise the power or authority that goes with that office.

Say, for example, you're sick. You can yell, "By His stripes I'm healed," 50 times a day. You can hope for healing. You can try to believe for healing till your hair turns gray. But if you don't really perceive yourself as whole and healthy in Christ Jesus, if you don't see yourself as "the healed" instead of "the sick," you won't get any supernatural help. Yet once that realization hits you that you are, in fact, "the healed," no one—not even the devil himself—will be able to keep you from getting well.

Don't let the devil hoodwink you any longer. Step over the line from trying to believe to actually knowing by dwelling on the Word of God. Read it and think about it. Practice seeing yourself through the eyes of the Word until the reality of your royalty in Christ rises up in you!

Turn Your Losses Around - Copeland

Turn Your Losses Around
But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass.... For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense), much more profusely did God’s grace and the free gift [that comes] through...Jesus Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many.
– Romans 5:15, The Amplified Bible

If you’re ever on a losing streak and need someone to tell you how to turn things around, go to God. He’s an expert on the subject. He’s suffered more losses than anyone who’s ever lived.

Just think about it. He lost Lucifer, His top-ranked, most anointed angel. And when Lucifer fell, He lost at least a third of His other angels as well. Then He lost the man and woman He had created. And because He’d given them dominion over the earth, when He lost them, He lost it too. Any way you figure it, that’s a lot of real estate down the drain!

Yet, in spite of all that, God is no loser. He’s the greatest winner of all time. Do you know why? Because He knows how to turn the losses around. He knows how to use the law of giving and receiving to transform losses into gains.

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over…” (Luke 6:38). That’s the powerful principle that breaks losing streaks.

Isn’t that staggering? He had every option that exists to choose from to redeem the things He’d lost. He had all wisdom and all power available to Him. Out of all that, the law of giving is what He chose to use.

He gave the most irreplaceable thing He had: His only Son. Then He backed that gift with His own faith. And when the law of giving and receiving had done its work, the Almighty Father God received not only His first-begotten Son, but millions of other sons as well.

Don’t despair over your losses. Redeem them the same way God redeemed His. Give and put the most powerful principle in the universe to work for you.

Five Useful Idiots 3 by Fani-Kayode

5 USEFUL IDIOTS AND THE SPIRIT OF THE ACCURSED SLAVE (PART 3)

Yet the individual that has captured the situation with more clarity, strength and conviction than perhaps any other in the last few days is my friend and brother Mr. Tony Ipriye Uranta.

Tony has been one of the most courageous, consistent and celebrated voices in the struggle for emancipation from military rule, freedom from northern hegemony and the establishment of democracy in Nigeria for the last 30 years and his words are worthy of consideration. On March 18th he wrote,

"I am unapologetically against ALL bloodthirsty demons, be they Boko Haram or Fulani Herdsmen terrorists. NOT ALL Muslims or Fulanis are evil. Many of my very good friends are either Muslims or Fulani...or, both! But if a devil is either, please, do not let us seek euphemisms to describe him or her. Nobody, for example, sought our permission to label virtually all criminal actors of the South South as Niger Delta Militants....even as far away as in Arepo, Lagos State. Meanwhile let us not forget that Niger Delta armed agitators, whilst one is not holding brief for them, have NEVER gone about any mass killings. I respect all ethnic groups, but I will NOT call a dog a monkey just to assuage anybody's feelings of guilt by association! Why is the Nigerian military not arresting traditional rulers indiscriminately as they do in the Niger Delta each time there's unrest (sans massacres, take note!) in the South South?! Are there really two Nigeria's?! We ALL in Nigeria have long agreed that the killer herdsmen in question are Fulani. Miyetti Allah and some FGN Officials have only quibbled as to their origination...some claiming they are foreign mercenaries of sorts. Even if these are Lunar Fulani, the reality is that they are carrying out genocidal actions and crimes against humanity, as they horrendously slaughter thousands of non-Fulani Nigerians across the nation, but especially in the Middle Belt. It is clear that the FGN cannot contain these killers. The United Nations (UN), the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), the European Union (EU), the African Union (AU), the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and all others with interests in Nigeria MUST intervene firmly and immediately. And the International Court of Justice (ICC) in the Hague should begin listing both State and non-State actors alleged to have been directly or otherwise involved in the mass murders, mass rapes, widespread arson, massive population displacements plus other terrorist acts that have eliminated tens of thousands of Nigerians within the past few years! May Nigeria not fail as a result of ethnic violence....for the whole will physically feel the negative fallouts from the creation of millions of Nigerian refugees desperately over-running first West and North Africa, then Europe and Northern America!"

Tony Ipiriye Uranta is a pride to the Niger Delta, to the south and indeed to Nigeria and he has hit the nail on the head.

To those that think otherwise and that are still living in denial I say it is time to stop playing politics with this matter and to speak the bitter truth.

I say to hell with your shameless political correctness and I urge you to accept the fact that when genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass murder is taking place it is unacceptable to sell the truth for tiny crumbs and a morsel at the Fulani table or to indulge in childish and petty semantics.

In such situations it is simply inexcusable to employ falsehood and deceit as a weapon of war or to attempt to belittle the challenges with which we are faced.

That challenge is called the 'Fulani herdsmen' and 'Fulani terrorists' and, whether you like it or not, that is precisely what we MUST and we WILL call them.

A few days ago after yet another horrific attack by the Fulani herdsmen on the local Berom comnunity in Jos, Plateau state the identity card of one Zakaria Yau Idris, an officer and member of Miyetti Allah, was found at the blood-soaked scene of the crime and presented to the public by the Nigerian Police.

Do we need to provide any more evidence to prove the fact that these butchers and terrorists are Fulani and nothing else? Even the useful idiots and accursed slaves that live amongst us like Reno Omokri and Tony Momoh would find this hard to dispute.

Yet the truth is that the killer herdsmen are just pawns that are being used by a much more deadly force in a much bigger game with a much wider picture.

They are nothing more than low-ranking footsoldiers that are being funded, fuelled, protected and empowered by a much darker, bigger, more malevolent and more sinister force which owns and controls them.

That force is a tiny group of evil men who David Icke, the British author and international conspiracy theorist, describes as the "hidden hand" that are "controlled by Satan and that lurk in the grey areas".

They are the shape-shifting reptilians and the faceless individuals that live in the shadows and that are at the very pinnacle and highest level of the Fulani ruling class.

They are the ones who own the cows, who arm, employ and protect the herdsmen and who use them to create havoc and clear the way for the implementation of their evil agenda to occupy, subjugate, dominate and conquer every inch of the Nigerian state and enslave the Nigerian people.

This is an ancient agenda and there is nothing new about it.  The proud and strong-willed Igbo people of south-eastern Nigeria saw it for what it was years before anyone else and gallantly attempted to resist it, at great cost to themselves.

From 1967 till 1970, under the leadership of Colonel Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, they courageously resisted an attempt to wipe their race off the face of the earth and, till today, they are still paying the price for their defiance, their insistence on freedom and independence and their refusal to bow to those that believe that they were 'born to rule'.

And if anyone still doubts or is confused about precisely what the agenda and objective of our collective oppressors are they should consider the words of the most reverred and most powerful northern leader in Nigerian history and the man that I often describe as Nigeria's second Muslim Mahdi: Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Saurdana of Sokoto and the Premier of the old Northern Region of Nigeria.

On October 12th, 1960 he said the following to Parrot Magazine.

"The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future".

This coming from the same man that had earlier proclaimed that it was his intention to "dip the Koran in the Atlantic ocean" and thereby finish what his great grandfather, Usman Dan Fodio (the first Muslim Mahdi), started and conquer the south.

He failed but the torch and baton have now been passed on to President Muhammadu Buhari who sees himself as the third and last Muslim Mahdi and whose purpose and intention is to perfect that plan and to complete that agenda.

It is therefore clear that our struggle is not just against Buhari but against what he represents: the malevolent intentions, hideous hegemony and relentless impunity of the Fulani ruling class and the barbarity of their murderous footsoldiers known as the Fulani herdsmen.

Sadly they have gone much further than most people think and the challenge is far more pervasive and widespread than many appreciate.

Worst still an innovative, subtle, subterranean, secret and covert strategy has been employed which has resulted in the implementation of a hideous and aggressive form of cultural and religious imperialism which needs to be properly understood and seen to be believed.

Permit me to share an example of that here. It appears that we have an unfolding identity crisis in some parts of Yorubaland. I say this because there is a senior traditional ruler in Iwo, a predominantly Muslim town in Osun state, whose name is Oba Adewale Abdul-Rasheed and whose official title is the Olowu of Iwo.
.

.
After Sa'adu Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto (who is the leader of the Caliphate, the head of Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) and the President of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs) paid him a visit in 2016, he suddenly changed his manner and ways.

By 2018 he insisted on calling himself an Emir and started speaking, dressing, dancing, talking, praying and behaving like one.

The 12th March 2018 edition of the Daily Trust Newspaper reported as follows:

"The traditional ruler said Iwo was the home of Islamic scholars and that he could be regarded as an Emir.

“When I was made the Oluwo of Iwo, I was turbaned. It is because Iwo is an Islamic ancient town. IIwo was known as ‘Geri Malami', meaning, the home of scholars. So this regalia is appropriate for me as the Oluwo.”

Nothing could be more repugnant, repulsive, frightful and offensive than this. It represents a total betrayal of the Yoruba race and his Iwo people, a desecration of the ancient stool on which he sits and a mockery of the traditional institution and royal throne over which he presides.

Amongst other things he appears to have forgotten that Islam came to Yorubaland 400 years before Usman Dan Fodio and his Fulani people ever set foot in northern Nigeria and unleashed their brutal jihad in 1804.

No Yoruba Oba, whether Muslim or Christian, needs any lessons in Islam or tutorials in rulership from any Fulani Emir.

And neither does he have to convert his community into an appendage and satellite of the Caliphate in order to establish his legitimacy and bona fides as a good Muslim and a good leader or in order to excel and prosper.

Oba Abdul-Rasheed's behaviour is yet another manifestation of the accursed spirit of slavery and a good example of the activities of a useful idiot. It is sad, unacceptable, irresponsible and unfortunate.

The Yoruba were never conquered militarily by the Fulani but look at what the sons and daughters of Futa Jalon are doing to us now!

The truth is that our struggle is not one that is between mere political parties but rather it is an odyssey for truth, fairness, equal rights and justice and a noble quest for liberation and freedom from a tiny group of misguided and cruel foreign overlords who believe that they own our nation and our people.

The Bible says "the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel". This is true.  And the long term objectives and hidden intentions of our collective enemies are indeed manifestly cruel and utterly wicked.

As Meg Barnes wrote,

"they want to kill all our men and enslave our women and girls sexually so that in the end there will be no true breed of our race".

That has been their plan since Usman Dan Fodio's jihad in 1804. And it is not as far-fetched as many may think.
.

Many precedents abound: the English attempted to do the same thing to the Scots in the 13th and 14th century until great men like William Wallace and Robert the Bruce rose up, opposed them and defeated them in battle. It is in the same way that the Fulani shall fail because we shall resist them with every fibre of our being and every sinew of our muscle. They would do well not to test our will, tempt our power or stir our fury.

No matter what price we have to pay, how long it takes or what casualties we may be forced to suffer, in the end, we shall prevail because the God of all flesh, the Lord of Hosts and the Ancient of Days is with us and He will never forsake us.

The truth is that not only must we confront and cage the Fulani hegemonists, face them down and bring their killer herdsmen to justice but we must also identify and expose the traitors within our ranks that lick their posteriors and suck their rectums for favour and money and that encourage and applaud them as they subject our people to mass murder, ethnic cleansing and genocide. (CONCLUDED).

APC Tenure Elongation: Tinubu Reacts

A national leader of the governing All Progressives Congress ( APC), Bola Tinubu, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari’s speech on Tuesday in which he called on the party to rescind its decision to extend the tenure of its officials.

The‎ APC National Executive Committee (NEC) had on February 27 extended the tenure of all party executives across national and states by one year.

That decision, which was supported by Mr. Buhari, was opposed by Mr. Tinubu.

Mr. Buhari on Tuesday, however, shocked members of NEC when he asked the meeting to revisit the issue.

The president said since the decision was adopted in the last NEC meeting, he has taking time to review and seek advice on the resolution.

He said he found that the resolution contravenes both APC constitution and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“While the APC Constitution, in Article 17(1) and 13.2(B), limits the tenure of elected officers to four years, renewable once by another election, the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended), in section 223, also prescribes periodic elections for party executives at regular intervals, which must not exceed four years.

“Furthermore, Article 31 of our Party Constitution provides that any principal officer wishing to re-contest or contest for another post, must resign from his current post at least one month before the election,” he said.

Mr Buhari said APC is, therefore, expected to conduct fresh elections, once the tenure of the current executives approaches its end.

He said a caretaker committee “cannot remedy this situation, and cannot validly act in place of elected officers.”

In his reaction via a statement he personally signed Tuesday evening, Mr. Tinubu said Mr. Buhari had spoken in a clear, straightforward manner.

The former Lagos State governor said Mr. Buhari had confirmed that APC is a party that is based on the rule of law coupled with a firm adherence to internal democracy.

“While it would have been easy to allow the ill-conceived motion of 27 February to stand, President Buhari showed principle and courage by steering the party back to its original and correct path.

Buhari Is On His Own - APC

APC rejects Buhari’s reversal of Oyegun’s tenure extension

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the party’s national working committee (NWC) led by its chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun’s tenure extension still stands despite President Muhammadu Buhari’s rejection.

National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, made this known while in a chat with journalists in Abuja on Tuesday.

According to him, President Buhari only expressed a personal opinion which cannot be considered the decision of the National Executive Council (NEC) which approved the extension in the first place. He insisted that the decision still stands until the NEC reverses itself.

“The president’s position has not changed the position of NEC. NEC has not reversed itself on the tenure extension. The decision of the NEC on the one-year tenure extension still stands.

“The president is not NEC. The NEC will have to reverse itself but right now, it has not done that. So, the tenure extension still stands,” Abdullahi said.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday addressed the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He called on party members to close ranks, noting that disunity would not help them.

The president also spoke on the tenure on the APC officials and what must be done.

Full text of his speech:

“I am delighted to once again welcome you to this National Executive Committee Meeting of our great party. As we usually do, I hope we will take the opportunity of this gathering to resolve outstanding issues and consolidate our plans towards making APC the strongest defender of the interests of our people.

2.In particular, I think it is important for me to speak quickly on the contentious issue of the tenure of our National and State Executive Officers. As we all know, a motion was moved at the last National Executive Committee meeting of February 27, 2018, to the effect that when the tenure of the current executives expire in June this year, they should be allowed to continue for one year.

3.This motion was duly carried by a majority of members present at the last NEC Meeting, even though some of our party members have since spoken up very vehemently against it. Others have even taken the matter to court.

4.On my own part, I have taken some time to review and seek advise on the resolution. And what I found is that it contravenes both our party Constitution and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

5.While the APC Constitution, in Article 17(1) and 13.2(B), limits the tenure of elected officers to four years, renewable once by another election, the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended), in section 223, also prescribes periodic elections for party executives at regular intervals, which must not exceed four years.

6.Furthermore, Article 31 of our Party Constitution provides that any principal officer wishing to re-contest or contest for another post, must resign from his current post at least one month before the election

7.In this circumstance, what is expected of us is to conduct fresh elections, once the tenure of the current executives approaches its end. A Caretaker Committee cannot remedy this situation, and cannot validly act in place of elected officers.

8.Furthermore, I think if we deviate from the constitutional provisions, we might be endangering the fortunes of our party. If the tenure of our party executives can be legally faulted, then it means that any nominations and primary elections that they may conduct, can also be faulted.

9.This is not to talk of divisions that would arise, and is already arising within the party, when some of our members feel that they are being denied the right to aspire to executive positions, or that internal democracy is not at play within the party.

10.I am therefore of the firm view that it is better to follow strictly the dictates of our party and national constitutions, rather than put APC and its activities at grave risk.

11.Fortunately, we have already approved a timetable for the holding of congresses and elections. I think these should be allowed to go forward and all efforts should now be geared towards making them a great success.

12.Once again, I welcome you all to this meeting with the hope that we will promote, always, the highest interest of the party and of our people.”

Why We Apologised to Nigerians - PDP

March 27, 2018

Press Statement

Why We Apologized To Nigerians, Says PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says its apology to Nigerians is the pathway to national healing, renewal of hope and remobilization of the citizenry for the task of rescuing the nation from our current pathetic situation occasioned by the painful misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The PDP said that as a responsible party, committed to the good of Nigerians, it is deeply saddened that our people are suffering because the nation allowed the APC, a movement that has neither structure nor plan, to scheme itself into governance, devastate the country, wreck our once robust economy and plunge our citizens into a situation of hunger, starvation and daily bloodletting.

The party said it is not unmindful of the fact that lessons have been learnt and that Nigerians across board are now looking up to its repositioned and rebranded platform to pull the country from the brinks and return her to the path of true democracy, national cohesion and economic prosperity, which were the hallmarks of PDP’s 16 years.

The PDP, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, on Tuesday, said while certain mistakes were made in its internal administration prior to the 2015 general election, its new leadership has already smoothened the rough edges to ensure strict adherence to internal democracy and good governance in all processes.

It is imperative to further state that our apology has to do more with the fact that we made certain mistakes that allowed an anti-people movement to take over governance in our country.

Our situation under the APC has become so pathetic that the world is now contemplating on how to help us. Under the APC misrule, the average life span of Nigerians has become abysmally low, purchasing power is eroded, the middle class has been wiped off, security is almost non-existent, all the economic gains of the PDP years have been destroyed, and our nation is now placed on auto-pilot.

It is painful to note that under the nightmarish rule of APC, Nigerians have become so frustrated that they now consider suicide mission and slavery as options.

Therefore, our apology is to ask Nigerians, once again, to put their trust in the rebranded PDP, particularly, as our party is the only platform that is committed to the national agenda of peace, unity, justice and prosperous nation.

Signed:

Kola Ologbondiyan
National Publicity Secretary

Five Useful Idiots and the Spirit of the Accursed Slave 2 - Fani-Kayode

FIVE USEFUL IDIOTS AND THE SPIRIT OF THE ACCURSED SLAVE (PART 2)
By Femi Fani-Kayode

On his part Mafindi Danburam gave a press conference in Jalingo, Taraba state on Sunday 18th March in which he complained that 54 Fulani herdsmen, who were all members of Miyetti Allah, had been arrested by the police and that his Fulani people were being subjected to persecution by the security agencies and  indigenous political leaders in Taraba state simply because they were Fulani herdsmen and members of Miyetti Allah.

If the herdsmen were not Fulani and members of Miyetti Allah I doubt he would have bothered to say a word.

Not only was he arrogant and defiant but he also refused to express regret or offer any apology for the slaughter of thousands of Jukuns and members of the other local and indigenous ethnic groups that his Fulani kinsmen and fellow cattle-rearers have slaughtered all over Taraba state in the last few weeks, months and years.

Finally in his contribution, Garus Gololo said that his Fulani people and members of his organisation Miyetti Allah in Benue were responsible for the carnage and slaughter in the state and that they had unleashed the terror because some of their cows were stolen and because the state had passed an Anti-Grazing Law against their counsel and advice.

He warned that if that law was not scrapped that his Fulani people and members of Miyetti Allah organisation in Benue state would organise themselves for the second time and slaughter the people of Benue state yet again.

These are the type of people and the sort of mindset that some useful idiots are attempting to defend. And when these Fulani leaders not only confirmed that the murderers and genocidal maniacs were their people but also attempted to rationalise and defend their shameless actions people like Omokri, Momoh and all the other useful idiots and accursed slaves remained silent because they had heard their masters voice.

It was only after Atiku Abubakar attempted to deceive Nigerians by weaving the self-serving lie that the terrorist herdsmen are not Fulani and when others, including yours truly, challenged him and told him to stop being economical with the truth that they crawled out of their woodwork and started complaining, whining and opening their big mouths.

They popped out of nowhere like the shameless cheerleaders that they are and, like clowns in a paupers' circus, started spouting rubbish.

I can understand the attempt to deceive us about the true identity of the terrorists coming from a Fulani like Atiku Abubakar who is clearly ashamed of what his people are doing and who understands its implications for the Fulani race and for his own presidential ambitions.

I cannot however understand, appreciate or abide such deceit coming from non-Fulanis like Reno Omokri and Tony Momoh? This is made even worse given the fact that the former claims to be a Pastor. It is shameful and it is evil. Both of them are desperately trying to be more Fulani than the Fulani themselves and the truth is that that they deserve to be pitied.

Did they not glean anything from the inspiring and courageous words of General T.Y. Danjuma. On March 24th he said,

"There is an attempt at ethnic cleansing in the state and of course some rural areas in Nigeria. We must resist it. We must stop it. Everyone of us must rise!"

He then said  "The Armed Forces are not neutral. They collude with the armed bandits that kill Nigerians! If you are depending on the Armed Forces to stop the killings you will all die one by one. They will every single one of us! The army facilitates their movements: they cover them!"

He went on to say,

"The ethnic cleansing must stop in Taraba and it must stop in all the states of Nigeria otherwise Somalia will be a child's play. I ask every one of you to be alert and to defend your country".

And finally he said "Defend your country, defend your territory, defend your state! You wont have anywhere  else to go!"

Can anyone dispute all that this great and courageous man has said? What Christians and non-Fulani Muslims are suffering at the hands of the Fulani in Nigeria today is similar to what the Jews suffered in Hitler's Nazi Germany.

Danjuma is one of the most powerful, fearless, consistent, revered and respected military officers in the history of our country and he has finally spoken. What we are going to do about it is now left to the rest of us.

We either stand up like lions and resist the evil in the land with all our strength or we sit down, crawl, beg, hope against hope and die like cowardly dogs with our tail between our legs!

The truth is that there is nothing that Danjuma has said that I and others have not said before. Nnamdi Kanu said it as far back as 2014 and I said it in 2015. Many insulted us, called us alarmists and laughed at us at the time. They are not laughing anymore!

In the light of all this some questions need to be put to the useful idiots in our midst and those questions are as follows:

Do we resist it and defend our land, territory and country by bending over, touching our toes with our heads, putting our fingers on our buttocks and spreading them wide open for the enemy to have his wicked way? Is that how to rise up and resist?

Do we resist by capitulating and behaving like slavish cowards? Do we resist by refusing to say who they are and where they come from and by failing to let the world know their true identity, race and mission? I think not.

And if any useful idiot and accursed slave  is still in any doubt about who the killers that are carrying out these horrendous acts and this ethnic cleansing are and where they are from I challenge them to seek private audience with General T.Y. Danjuma and ask him. He is a man of wisdom and knowledge and there is very little that he does not know about this matter.

Those that secretly and covertly support genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass murder and that seek to hide the true racial identities of the animals that indulge in such cruel barbarity deserve worse than curses. They deserve to be hung, drawn and quartered.

And they have much to learn from the counsel of the great writer and veteran journalist Mr. Simon Musa Reef who said,

"when you betray your people, you render yourself untrustworthy before the very people you seek to impress".

This is wisdom but sadly the useful idiots, blinded by their greed and their lust for favour, power, money and fleeting fame from their Fulani masters will not heed it.

They should visualise and imagine the killer herdsmen visiting their homes and as they are doing "one corner" with their wives, slitting open the throats of their daughters, sodomising their sons and hacking off the body parts and vital organs of members of their household they should ask them in Fufude whether they are Fulani or whether they are Chinese.

The fact of the matter is that these Fulani terrorists have slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent and defenceless people all over the country over the last three years and these imbeciles and shameless fools are still trying to defend them, rationalise their actions, hide their identities and cover their tracks?

And they call themselves Christians? They are not Christians but slaves and "useful idiots" to the Fulani terrorists.

Worse still I suspect that they are under a spell. If  Fulani herdsmen rape their mother in their presence, slit open her throat, drain all her blood in the gutter and gut her with a 12 inch Bowie knife before their very eyes they will simply say "thank you sir" and still defend them. That is how depraved, debased and self-hating these misguided creatures are.

On March 22nd, one day after the return of the Dapchi girls and in reference to the biggest, most repugnant, most nauseating, most stomach-wrenching, most repulsive, most cowardly and most chicken-hearted turncoats and useful idiots in the  nation, I tweeted the following:

"Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and all the other useful idiots and accursed slaves have much to learn from a deeply courageous 15 year old Christian girl from Dapchi by the name of Liya Sharibu about what it means to be loyal to your faith and to be faithful to your God even in the face of death!"

I believe that each and every one of the useful idiots and accursed slaves that I have mentioned in this essay and all those that think like them, including that fat, ugly, frog-like, pamper-wearing polyglot from Imo state, that poisonous little midget and bearded dwarf from Anambra and that corrupt, lying, pot-bellied, mentally-unstable eyeball-rolling creek Haramite from Rivers, also need to learn the same lesson.

God will surely judge them for betraying their faith, for supporting the evil, for attempting to deceive the Nigerian people and for defending the indefensible.

Every drop of innocent blood that the Fulani terrorists have shed over the last three years will not only speak against the physical perpetrators of the crime but will also speak against accomplices like them too.

We live in perilous times and we are in a dire situation. Yet regardless of the dangers we owe it to the people that we love to stand up for what we believe in.

Our saving grace is that for every foolish southern and Middle Belt slave and useful idiot there are hundreds of thousands of clear-thinking, courageous, sensible, rational and inspiring ones that know the score, that are servants of truth, that are prepared to call a spade a spade, that speak truth to power, that are blessed with a brave heart, that are imbued with an excellent spirit  and that are as constant as the northern star.

Nnamdi Kanu, Asari Dokubo, Gani Adams, Charles Ogbue, Government Ekpemupolo (AKA Tompolo), Bosun Emmanuel, Aniko Briggs, Ayo Fayose, Tony Nnandi, Matthew Hassan Kukah, Musa Asake, David Oyedepo, Paul Enenche, Johnson Suleiman, Isa El Buba, T.B. Joshua, Solomon Musa, Daniel Wilson, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Tony Nyiam, Ayo Adebanjo, Ben Nwabueze, Pastor Chris Okafor and so many others are worthy of mention in this respect.

As an example permit me to share the words of my friend and brother Nnamdi Kanu which he spoke in February 2014 and which have proved to be prophetic.

He said,

“As they campaign vigorously for elections you would think they are coming to grow the economy, enthrone justice, breed unity and tolerance and love for one another. No! They are coming to enthrone Hausa/Fulani supremacy, to reposition the security agencies by sacking all competent hands and replace them with their kinsmen in order to drive their ethnic domination of the south. The Fulani herdsmen will be armed and encouraged to slaughter us with impurity and their masters will protect them. They are coming to ensure that my people are enslaved forever. Those who do not believe me will soon see it happen before their eyes. The Fulani will take over the entire south as a continuation of their age-long agenda to Islamise Eastern Nigeria. They will brazenly seize our land in pretence of creating grazing fields for the Fulani. Then the conquest will be complete and we will become their serfs forever.”

This hideous and unholy agenda is unfolding before our very eyes but many of our people are still in denial because the bitter truth is too difficult to grasp and too frightful to admit, accept or comprehend. (TO BE CONTINUED).

Confessing Your Righteousness Pleases God - Joseph Prince

...the righteousness of faith speaks...
Romans 10:6
- MARCH 26 -
CONFESSING YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS PLEASES GOD
Every time you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ”, God the Father is pleased. When you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, it reminds Him of what His Son has done for you to become righteous.

Also, by making you righteous, God is showing Himself righteous—“to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus”. (Romans 3:26)

Each time Jesus hears you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” it brings much pleasure to His heart too, because you are laying hold of what He suffered and died to give you.

The Holy Spirit, who now indwells you to convict you of righteousness (John 16:10), also rejoices when you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” He is pleased when you flow with Him.

The delight of the Godhead is not the only thing you gain when you declare, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” The Bible tells us that when you “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…all these things shall be added to you”. (Matthew 6:33)

Whether it is food, clothing or other necessities in life, “all these things” will be added to you. They will not just be given to you, but added to you as your inheritance when you seek first His righteousness.

You don’t need to use your faith for every single need in life. You just need to use your faith for one thing—to believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, and it will cause all the blessings you seek to come after you and overtake you!

Five Useful Idiots and the Spirit of the Accursed Slave - Fani-Kayode

FIVE USEFUL IDIOTS AND THE SPIRIT OF THE ACCURSED SLAVE (PART 1) By  Femi Fani- Kayode

"Useful idiot" is a political term which is often used to describe the misguided supporters of an unreasonable, irresponsible, ill-conceived and ill-advised cause.

First coined in western Europe in the late 19th century, the term was made all the more popular by its usage in Mona Charen's excellent book titled
"Useful Idiots: How Liberals Got It Wrong in the Cold War and Still Blame America First" which was published in 2003.

I believe that it is a term which adequately describes some of our politicians, leaders, writers and public commentators in Nigeria and as a matter of fact it is well-deserved.

Consider the following.

Two weeks ago and a day after Fulani terrorists slaughtered 35 innocent and defenceless people, including women and children, in his state, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state said,

"Fulani herdsmen killings in Kogi state is a family affair, we shall resolve it".

His tepid reaction attracted national and international angst and public opprobium but Bello apparantly did not "give a damn" and neither did he tender an unreserved and public apology for hurting our collective feelings or offending our sensitivities with these words.

There is nothing that I despise more than those with a slave mentality. And nothing reflects that pitiable condition more than Yahaya Bello's luke warm response to this utterly outrageous event.

Three days after the young Governor spoke these irresponsible words, the Fulani herdsmen, who were obviously encouraged and emboldened by his shameless disposition and the implementation of his cowardly policy of appeasement, struck again and killed a traditional ruler, his wife and 9 other innocent souls in Kogi state.

They burnt the palace and homes of their victims and as they fled they shot them, slit open their throats and removed their body organs and vital parts.

That is the price that is being paid and the monumental tragedy that has befallen the people of Kogi who are evidently stuck with a Governor that is prepared to sit by idly and openly encourage and espouse those that seek to wipe out his people from the face of the earth and take all their land by the force of arms.

There is no greater shame or betrayal of a mandate than this.

The only one that comes close to it is Plateau state's Governor Simon Lalong whose intervention, after the mass murder of hundreds of members of the indigenous population in neighbouring Benue state by Fulani herdsmen a few weeks ago, was equally shameless and offensive.

Lalong expressed the view that the blame for the genocide that was being perpetuated against the people of Benue state ought to be placed, not at the doorstep of their killers, but rather with their Governor, Samuel Ortom.

He went further by telling the world that he had warned Ortom about the implications of passing an Anti-Grazing law in his state and that by passing that law he had upset and provoked the Fulani herdsmen.

This coming from a Christian brother and fellow Middle Belt Governor!

Sadly, and as a graphic example of the grovelling appeaser that was compelled to eat his own faeces and the village idiot that was forced to drink his own urine, a few weeks later Lalong's own people in Plateau state, where he had evidently refused to pass an Anti Grazing law, were butchered by the same Fulani terrorists and herdsmen.

Is this poetic justice? I think not because the people of Plateau state do not deserve it. It is more of a tragedy of monumental proportions and it is indicative of the consequence of being saddled with a primitive, cowardly, insensitive and grovelling field hand as a Governor who fails to appreciate the fact that adopting the line of least resisitance and implementing the shameless policy of appeasement, coupled with the unconsciable display of crass weakness, attracts nothing but aggression and does nothing but encourage the bully and the aggressor.

Whichever school he went to, if any, never taught him that in order to preserve the peace you must show strength and a willingness to fight, even against all odds, when pushed against the wall.

Many in Nigeria appear to have failed to learn this basic lesson and that is why we are in the mess that we are in.

Sadly the perfidy and slave mentality of men like Bello and Lalong pales into insignificance when one considers the deceit, self-serving doublespeak, servile disposition and intellectual dishonesty others.

Let me give an example.

When the world called the Niger Delta militants, "Niger Delta" militants, no-one complained.

Yet the other day Pastor Reno Omokri (AKA Wendell Simillin), a notable columnist and public commentator who launches scathing, commendable and, I must confess, laudable attacks on the Buhari government from the relative safety of his home in the United States of America attempted to rationalise Vice President Atiku Abubakar's inexcusable faux pax by suggesting that Fulani herdsmen should not be tagged "Fulani" herdsmen, "Fulani" terrorists or "Fulani" militants.

Left to him we ought not to mention the word "Fulani" in this context.

His sordid attempt to becloud the issues and shade the truth has exposed him for what he is and has proved beyond any reasonable doubt what he really stands for.

It has also proved that he has no guts, no substance and limited intelligence.

Unfortunately this deplorable virus of unabashed mendacity, shame, servitude and slavery is spreading fast.

Prince Tony Momoh, a Buhari loyslist, the Minister of Information in President Ibrahim Babangida's government, and a man that I have always held in high esteem, appears to have also been afflicted and has said the same thing.

Last week he said the following to the Sun Newspaper.

“Anywhere you go to people would say we cannot go to farm because of the Fulani herdsmen. This is when as a matter of fact the Fulani herdsmen are in more danger than any other Nigerian. Do we talk of Igbo armed robbers? Do we talk of Yoruba 419ers and so on? We talk of all these as crimes and we should be talking of the killings as also a crime. But because of politics, we are going into areas to make our children believe that the fear of Fulani herdsmen is the beginning of wisdom. So what Othman Dan Fodio could not achieve when he was alive in Nigeria we are achieving it through communication and making our own children afraid of the Fulani. Remember that the Fulani are in the minority in this country".

Momoh has spoken like a true slave.

One wonders what has got into him, Reno Omokri, Simon Lalong, Yahaya Bello and all the other "useful idiots" who are falling over themselves to play down and obsfucate the hideous atrocities that the Fulani terrorists and the barbarians from Futa Jalon have unleashed on our people over the last three years.

Do they have to wait until one of their own loved ones have had their throats slit open, their blood drained, their eyes removed, their genitals cut out out and their bodies hacked into pieces before they see this whole thing for what it is and admit to who is behind it?

When a Governor says that it is "a family affair" when such things happen to the very people he is meant to defend and charged to protect under the constitution and when he does not call for justice for the victims of the carnage but rather says the matter will be settled amicably you know that you are dealing with an insensitive beast that is not only depraved but also sociopathic.

Worst still this is a Governor that has refused to pay the salaries of his personal staff and the state's civil servants for many months and that spends most of his time trying to lock up, silence, frame up and intimidate his perceived enemies, even when they are members of his own party.

Forgive my strong language but there is no need to be diplomatic when you are dealing with a low life and an imbecile . And the truth is that such a man is almost as vicious, heartless and unconceivable as the Fulani herdsmen that he seeks to serve and protect.

To those that cry more than the bereaved and take offence when the terrorists are described as "Fulani herdsmen" by others, one wonders why they did not complain about the use of the word "Fulani" when the respected International Terror Index described the killer herdsmen as "Fulani militants" and informed us that they were the "4th most deadly terrorist organisation in the world?"

.
Why did they not complain when the Chairman of Miyetti Allah, Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, the Sultan of Sokoto, the Emir of Kano, the Emir of Zazzau, the Emir of Katsina, Governor Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna state, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state, Professor Ango Abdullahi, the spokesman of the Arewa Consultative Forum, Mafindi Danburam, the north-eastern zonal Chairman of Miyeti Allah, Garus Gololo, the leader of Miyetti Allah in Benue state and all the other Fulani leaders described the herdsmen as "FULANI" herdsmen?

Ganduje, who is probably the most forthright and honest of them all when it comes to this matter proferred a practical solution to the conflict by saying that all the Fulani herdsmen should return home to the core north and specifically to Kano where, he said, there was "plenty of grazing land for them all" and that, in any case, "that is where they belong".

Ango Abdullahi had a different perspective and went as far as to say that the Fulani have every right to take their cows anywhere they like in the country including to peoples private land, homes, schools, places of worship and farms.

He said that the Fulani herdsmen had no choice but to butcher and kill those that stood in their way because they had been given what he described as an ancient right to what he decribed as "cattle routes" which he claims were given to them by our ertwhile British colonial masters as far back as 1904!

He said that the Fulani were compelled to slaughter all the innocent men, women and children that they met because they themselves were often insulted, provoked, robbed and attacked by members of the indigenous population and host communities.

He offered no apology for the genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass murder that the Fulani unleashed on the defenceless and innocent civilian population.

And neither did he explain why they felt the need to specifically target women and children, to carve up their bodies and to remove their body parts.

Instead he simply said the barbaric actions of the Fulani herdsmen were necessary and he sought to defend, justify and rationalise them.

He also said that those who wish to stop cow-grazing and that are calling for cattle ranches have "forgotten their history", were "irresponsible and deceptive" and he ended it all by saying that "the north will never allow Nigeria to be restructured". (TO BE CONTINUED)

THE KING IS NOT ANGRY WITH YOU - Joseph Prince

The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.
Proverbs 19:12
- MARCH 25 -
THE KING IS NOT ANGRY WITH YOU
The Bible tells us that the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8) But have you ever wondered why he acts like a roaring lion?

It has something to do with a lion’s roar. In the Bible, the roaring of a lion speaks of the king’s wrath—“The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion”. So when the devil walks about like a roaring lion, he is trying to give you the impression that the King is angry with you. And when you believe that God is angry with you, the devil knows that he has got you.

When you think that God is angry or displeased with you, you will not be confident of His love toward you. Instead, you will expect and fear punishment from Him. And you will want to stay away from Him because you do not wish to incur His wrath any further.

But the truth is that God is not angry with you, even when you fail or blow it, because all your sins have already been judged in the body of His Son at the cross. As the Lamb of God, Jesus became your burnt offering. That is why He said, “I thirst.” (John 19:28)

Those who heard Him say that at Calvary that day thought that His thirst was physical. Actually, His thirst was spiritual because He was being “burnt” by the fire of God’s wrath. He was being judged for our sins. His body exhausted all of God’s wrath until every claim of God’s holiness was satisfied and His wrath appeased!

Now, there is a law called “the law of double jeopardy”, which states that the same crime cannot be tried twice. Today, the fire of God’s wrath will never fall on you as a believer because it has already fallen on His Son at the cross. He judged your sins then, but in the body of His Son.

So right now, you are not under the King’s wrath but His favor. And His favor rains down on you like dew on the grass every morning!

Obey Today - Gloria Copeland

Obey Today
He who, being often reproved, hardens his neck shall suddenly be destroyed—and that without remedy.
– Proverbs 29:1, The Amplified Bible

Some people have the mistaken idea that when the direction of the Holy Spirit comes to them, they can just ignore it for a while if they want to and then obey Him later in their own good time. They think to themselves, I know what I'm doing is wrong. I know my lifestyle isn't right, but I'm just going to do it a while longer. Then I'll get things straightened out with the Lord.

Let me warn you, that is an extremely dangerous thing to do. Because God says that when you refuse His guidance, your heart grows hard. It's not that God's grace doesn't extend to you anymore. It's not that He wouldn't forgive you if you turned to Him. It's just that sin will callous your heart to the point where you can't hear Him calling.

That's what happened to the children of Israel. God would tell them what to do and they wouldn't do it. When He was trying to bring them into the Promised Land and He told them to go in and possess it, they flatly refused.

Of course, they thought they had good reasons for refusing. They were so full of fear and unbelief that they actually thought if they did what God said, they'd be destroyed. But, you know, it doesn't matter how good your reasons are for disobeying God. That disobedience will still cost you. It will still harden your heart.

The children of Israel ignored God's leading so often that He finally just sent them into the wilderness. They were so stiff-necked, He couldn't lead them into the blessings He'd planned for them, and He had to just let them wander around until all but two of them had died. He had to raise up a whole new generation of softer-hearted people before He could take them into the land.

Take a lesson from that and don't play around with sin. When God tells you what you need to do, don't put Him off thinking it will be easier to do it later. It won't be. It will be harder!

When the Spirit of God comes to correct you, follow His instructions—and follow them quickly. Keep your heart tender. Obey the Lord!

INSECURITY: Army Replies Former Chief, Danjuma

NIGERIAN ARMY PRESS STATEMENT ON THE ALLEGED MILITARY COLLUSION WITH MILITIAS/CRIMINALS MADE BY FORMER CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF

1. The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to the unfortunate statement made by a former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, during the convocation ceremony of the Taraba State University on Saturday 24 March 2018 in which he categorically asserted that the Armed Forces of Nigeria was colluding with militias and other criminal elements and was unable to provide security for the citizens of Taraba State.  He further called the people of Taraba State to take up arms and defend themselves.  The Nigerian Army views this statement made by the former Chief of Army Staff as most unfortunate at this critical time that the military has embarked upon demilitarisation of the North Central Region of the Country.

2. While Nigerian Army would not want to join issues with the Elder Statesman, however, certain facts need to be clearly stated in the interest of the Taraba People and the Nigerian public:

a. The Nigerian Army is constitutionally charged with the responsibility of defending the territorial integrity of Nigeria and to aid the civil authority whenever called upon to do so.  In this light, the authorisation for the conduct of Ex AYEM AKPATUMA was authorised and troops deployed to curb menace of the herdsmen-farmers conflict and other criminal activities in the North Central Region amongst others.

b. It is on record that the successes so far achieved in Ex AYEM AKPATUMA have been recognised and accepted by Nigerians.

c. The public is notified that Nigerian Army personnel have had to pay the supreme price for ensuring the sustenance of security in Taraba State.  For instance, a gallant non-commission officer of the Nigerian Army was beheaded on 16 March 2018 in Takum Taraba State by criminal elements.

d. It is noteworthy to state that at the inception of Ex AYEM AKPATUMA, the Taraba State Government, did not cooperate with the Nigerian Army due to the Army’s stance to remain absolutely neutral in the herdsmen-farmers crisis.  The Nigerian Army will continue to remain as such.

e. For avoidance of doubt, the Nigerian Army advises the people of Taraba State and indeed all other Nigerians to continue in their day-to-day activities and be law abiding as anyone caught with arms and ammunition will be dealt with accordance with the laws of the land.  Every law-abiding citizen is assured of equal protection and security of their lives and property irrespective of his/her person.

Northern Political Elite Reject Second Term For Buhari

THE FULL TEXT
Communique of the Summit of Northern Groups, held at Arewa House, Kaduna, on Saturday, 24th March, 2018
Leading Northern Groups and Associations held a Summit of their leaders at Arewa House, Kaduna on Saturday 24th March, 2018. The Summit was convened to assess the security, economic and political circumstances of the North and Northern communities in other parts of Nigeria. Specifically, the Summit reviewed the worrying state of insecurity under which virtually all Northerners live; the worsening economic fortunes of the vast majority of Northerners and the options that are available to the North as it prepares to engage the political process towards the elections of 2019.
The Summit noted that in spite of notable successes by the Buhari administration against the Boko Haram insurgency in the North East, many Northern communities still live under its threat. In many other parts of the North, communities are routinely exposed to attacks from shadowy killers, and suspicion and anger at known and suspected killers are pitching Northerners against each other. Armed bandits terrorize rural communities almost at will, while kidnappings and abductions have assumed alarming notoriety as crimes. The nation’s security and law and order assets are stretched beyond points where they can’t provide even the most elementary confidence and protection of citizens. The North has rarely been so exposed to multiple and varied threats.
The economy of the North continues to deteriorate in spite of the evident willingness of Northerners to work hard and earn legitimate incomes. Its basic infrastructure suffers massive deficits in funding while its growing population starves from lack of critical investment in human capital development. Federal government spending is severely tilted against the North, while most State governments only pay lip service to real development in their states. Agriculture shows limited glimpses of recovery, but almost entirely through efforts of peasants and antiquated processes. The North is completely de-industrialized, while the rest of the nation moves towards sustainable growth and development. There is no evidence of bold thinking, strong political will and/or serious concern by any leadership at any level to reverse the alarming decline of the Northern economy.
Since 2015, Northerners have occupied positions with the potential to make decisive differences in the economy, security or political fortunes of the region. The hopes that leaders who have exercised power since 2015 will reverse the abuse and neglect of the region in the previous decade have been betrayed. Weak governance, gross insensitivity and unacceptable levels of incompetence have been compounded by battles of attrition in which northerners have sapped each others’ strength. Weak and incoherent responses to provocations from other parts of the country around the imperatives of re-visiting the foundations and structures of the Nigerian state have created the false image of a North without its own positions beyond survival as the parasite of Nigeria. The historic gains in Northern political unity secured by Northern votes in the 2015 elections have been wasted by the poor management of conflicts between and among Northern communities. Today Northern communities are erecting barricades against members of other communities, as well as and politicians who have failed to lead and make impacts in lives of the poor and the vulnerable are daily feeding the people with hate and resentment instead of searching for genuine and lasting solutions. In a region with enough resources for every community or trade, our people are now fighting for morsels, while leaders think of new ways to turn our misery into electoral capital.
The Summit, having undertaken a thorough analysis of the state of the North and our communities, therefore:
URGES all leaders, elders and communities to seek peaceful resolutions of conflicts between and among communities. Lives lost, injuries suffered and losses incurred in any community must be redressed firmly and fairly. The roots of co-existence and inter-dependence in all Northern communities are much deeper than the barricades being erected around communities. All persons who are involved in killings and crimes against communities must be brought to book.
DEMANDS immediate and decisive steps to improve the security of lives and economic assets in the North by the federal and state governments. Too many communities are at the mercy of attacks from sundry groups of criminals who appear to have unchallenged access to space and weapons.
APPEALS to Northern Governors and President Muhammadu Buhari to set in motion serious initiatives towards achieving higher levels of trust among Northern communities which is vital for the imperatives of peace and justice.
INSISTS that the routine denial of the rights of the North to its fair share of budgetary allocations by the federal government must cease from the 2018 budget. Northern representatives in the National Assembly must live up to their oaths to protect the rights of their constituencies to equity in the allocation of national resources.
WARNS that no Northern politician should expect to be voted for in the next general election unless they demonstrate a willingness to champion a massive assault on poverty and underdevelopment in the North. In this regard, most political office holders from the North are hereby served notice that they have failed the test to lead the region towards economic recovery and growth.
ASSERTS the rights of all Northerners to examine all options in political choices they will make in 2019. The leadership selection process must be critically interrogated to present the best leader to Nigeria as a whole. No one should take the North for granted, and it is not for sale. It will resist shedding its blood for any candidate, and will critically scrutinize all politicians who will seek our mandate. At this stage, all options are on the table, and politicians who have betrayed the hopes and mandates of our people should be prepared to suffer rejection, in the same manner the votes of the North rejected the attempt to continue with impunity, corruption and indifference of the previous regime.
ADVISES all Northerners to be alert to plans to weaken the region through the manipulation of our fears and vulnerability and our ethno-religious differences. There must be vigilant scrutiny of opportunities for manipulation by outsiders of our present challenges. We must stand up and unite against those who kill villagers in Kogi, in Zamfara, in Benue, in Adamawa, in Borno, in Kaduna, in Taraba and in every village or town. No Northern blood is more precious than others, and we can only heal if we adopt common positions to finding solutions to our problems.
INVITES attention of the rest of Nigeria that the North knows its interests and place and will defend them in the context of Nigeria. Our people are willing and eager to put our union as a nation on the table and discuss with other Nigerians the relative values of ALL options and negotiate them with responsibility and respect.
CAUTIONS the Presidency and members of the National Assembly and Governors to resist the temptation to abuse the political process in pursuit of their personal ambitions.
COMMITS to sustaining the strong interests behind this Summit through other activities and actions which will strengthen Northern unity and prepare it to extract the maximum benefits from the 2019 elections.
The Summit welcomes the release of the Dapchi girls, and urges the government to intensify efforts to secure the release of all other abducted Nigerians. It calls on the government to ensure that no abductions occur again, and all communities are sufficiently protected and young Nigerians are free to acquire education without fear.
