All is set for the official unveiling of a new political party called Action Peoples Party been led by a close  former senior aide to the Senate President Bukola Saraki ( Barr.Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere) .

The Crisis ravaging the ruling APC might worsen in the days ahead as the new alternative platform which have the endorsement of aggrieved senators, reps members and Governors of the ruling APC who are not at peace with the way things are going in the party and wants to join force with the emerging new party which is driven by a new generation of young politicians and also working closely with top members of the Obasanjo coalition for change .

The promoters of the New Party are desirous of giving Nigerians a unifying  new platform that is will serve as a credible alternative to the PDP and the crisis infested APC.

The party launching which have been fixed for March 19th 2018 will be holding at the International Conference Center Abuja . The plan , an anonymous  source in the party  hinted us is to prepare the platform in anticipation to the official decamptment of the Senators, Reps Members and members of the Obasanjo New coalition.

Already a former Governor of one of the  Northwest state who is currently a serving Senator, a serving youthful  Northwest State Governor, a top principle officer of the Senate , a former Intelligence and  rtd Army Colonel  etc are  among  the likely canddiates to slug it out for the presidential ticket of the new party .

Tension returned to Presidency at the weekend as  former Aide to the Senate president and Youth Council Preaident Barr. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere and other promoters of third force movement confirmed plan to unveil their newly registered Political party, Action People Party (APP) in Abuja march 19.
 There are indications in Abuja that the new party may serve as the much touted third force to wrestle power from president Mohammadu Buhari in 2019.
 The new party was said to have unsettled both , the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as more prominent politicians are set to join the party . National publicity Secretary of the party  Mr Cosmas Onumajuru in a statement at the weekend confirmed the planned formal public presentation of APP in Abuja March 19.
He said that the new has also recieved the blessings of some  political associates of the senate president senator Bukola Saraki ahead of the launch .
 Though He did not list the names of the said political associates of the senate president , but source alleged that some of them may have contacted senator Sarakis former aide on youth matters .
"We have members from across the 36 states of the federation and Abuja ". He said the party has since commenced online membership registration . According to him a number of APC and PDP members will be defect formally to APP March 19 , during the public presentation of the party . Mr Onumajuru however urged Nigerians who are desirous of real positive change in Nigeria to join APP.
