NSCDC DEPLOYS OVER 50,000 PERSONNEL FOR 1ST OCTOBER
The Commandant General of Nigeria Security and civil
Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu orders the deployment of over
fifty thousand personnel for the October 1st "Independence Day
Celebration". The massive deployment of officers of the Corps is meant to prevent breach of peace nationwide,
during the period.
He also directed for the deployment of 5000 sniffer
dogs, Mobile survellance vehicle and other gadgets for effective monitoring and
supervision.
He lauded the efforts of the officers deployed for
the Sallah Celebration for their wonderful performance in providing maximum
Security in all nooks and crannies of Nigeria during the Sallah Celebration.
The CG is therefore seeking the co-operation of
members of the public in providing information and intelligence highly
needed to curb crime and criminalities
in the society; especially in the areas of vandals and other trouble-shooters
in the country.
while congratulating Nigerians on the occasion of the
55th Independence Anniversary, He urged personnel to work in synergy with other
sister Security Agencies in ensuring hitch free celebration and peaceful
conduct of the event.
Stressing further that Nigeria problems can be solved
by Nigerians through collective efforts of citizens, by being our brother's
keeper.
