How to Handle Wrong People Around You

How to Handle Wrong People Around You

If you are expecting every beneficiary of your goodness to be good in return, you will be disappointed. Most of those who benefited from Jesus denied Him when least expected. Acts 10:38 states "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him".
KJV. Most of those He delivered from the bondage of the devil turned around to accuse Him falsely or used against Him by His adversaries. One of the greatest lessons we could learn from Jesus and the people around Him is continue being good even if you are not appreciated. Gal 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. NIV 1 Peter 2:19-25
For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. 20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

22 "He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth."

23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. NIV
