KNSG TO COMPLETE DAKATA - BELA ROAD SOON

KNSG TO COMPLETE DAKATA - BELA ROAD SOON

Kano state government has directed the contractor handling Dakata - Bela road, transversing Nassarawa and Ungoggo local government areas to mobilize back to site immediately or face severe sanctions.
In a statement signed by the Director General, Media and Communications to the Governor Halilu I. Dantiye said the government is disturbed about the state of the project which is long overdue for completion.

The statement lamented that the contractor had violated the terms of the contract resulting in the slow pace of the project and poor condition of the road, thereby causing immense agony to the people.

It noted that the people of the benefiting community have suffered unduly because of the attitude of the contractor, warning that he must return to site and complete the project soon or face the full wrath of the law.

The state commends people of Dakata, Bela and surrounding communities for their patience and support to the present administration despite the condition of their road, assuring that the government would not fold its arms while they suffer in silence.

It further assured citizens of Kano state that the present administration under Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje will complete all inherited projects across the state with the view to making life more meaningful for the electorate.
