How To Pray Effective Prayers
READ AND MEDITATE ON Mark 11:12-14
12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he
was hungry:
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if
haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing
but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of
thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig
tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master,
behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not
doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought
against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your
trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which
is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
KJV
Jesus was hungry, he found a fig tree He wanted to eat from
but the fig tree was without fruits. He did not complain or ask God any
question instead, He cursed the disappointed tree! Haven done that, He did not
bother whether the curse had any impact on the tree or not. He left the scene.
How often we always looked for some abracadabra whenever we pray asking for a
divine intervention!
On the following day, the Disciples observed that the cursed
tree had been withered from the tree and Peter called His attention to the
tree. Jesus then taught them what Faith does in prayer. Jesus said, “Have faith
in God.” Some old version of the Bible have it this way “Have the God kind of
Faith.”
Then Jesus began to teach them how to pray effective prayers:
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not
doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought
against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your
trespasses.
WHAT TO BE DONE:
1.
Put your mouth into action thru declaration
2.
No matter how difficult the situation looks
like, just ask it to shift or respond to your command and it would be done.
Jesus used mountain that looked impossible. This means nothing is impossible
with faith.
3.
Then you must believe that what you pray for is
possible. Often, people pray and still doubt the possibility of their prayers!
4.
You must know that God will not answer the
prayer which you have doubted!
5.
Then you must forgive whoever might have wronged
you if you want your prayer to be effective.
6.
Do it now and watch God moves on your behalf.
7.
Stop asking God to do this or that for you. He
has given you the authority to command those things you desire.
8.
Quit complaining instead speak to the unpleasant
situation. That is what Jesus did.
In the mighty name of Jesus, whatever that
is standing as a mountain before whoever is reading this in faith, I ask it to
shift into the ocean Now! Thank You Lord because I believe it is so. Because I
prayed in Jesus name. AMEN.
9.
Share your testimonies with me. SHALOM.
