Army Nabbed Fake Recruitment Consultant
The Nigerian Army has arrested and paraded a suspected fake recruitment consultant who extort money from his victims who wanted to be enlisted in the Army and other security agencies.
Acting Director of Army Public Relations, DAPR, Colonel Sani Usman, who identified the suspect as Samuel Omoh Eromosele, told journalists in Abuja, that the suspect, had defrauded over six unsuspecting job seekers to the tone of thirty two thousand and five hundred naira only.
"Samuel Omoh Eromosele, on the 9 May, 2015, posted an advertisement in the comments section of the website known as 'www.nigerianbestforum.com'. The advert was entitled Nigerian Army Direct Short Service Commission 2015/2016 online application form", where he demanded that interested persons paid N4, 500 each as application fee.
Consequently, the DAPR said that an investigation by the Military Police showed that the suspect, who posed as Balogun Precious Ehi, received N4, 500 through his First Bank account and N28, 000 through his Fidelity Bank account.
According to the Army, on July 17, he was said to have posed as Precious Ehi and posted an advertisement via another webwite calling for applications into the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS 2015/2016 batch online.
