Buhari appoints new co-ordinator for Niger-Delta Amnesty

NEWS BRIEFLY
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Brigadier General P.T. Boroh the co-ordinator for the Niger- Delta Amnesty.
He replaces Kingsley Kuku who resigned after the departure of his principal, President Goodluck Jonathan from power.
The EFCC has summoned Kuku but his lawyer said he is away to the United States for medical reasons.

TERRORISM
The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Tukur Buratai today in Abuja said the United Nations will provide training and other assistance to the Nigerian troops.
President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to Cameroon Wednesday to discuss with President Paul Biya on how to end the menace of terrorism.

Meanwhile, Air Vice Marshal Monday Morgan has resumed work as the new Director of Defence Intelligence Agency succeeding Rear Admiral Okoi.
