Toke nd Maje
Estranged hubby of OAP, Toke Makinwa, Maje Ayida took to Instagram to celebrate his wife’s birthday with a touching message.
He wrote:
Happy birthday to my stunning wife, you are such an incredible woman. I remember when you started on the radio, you were a bag of nerves, working the night shift. I stopped off the pick up a pizza as they closed and drove up to the station. The roads were empty and I listened to you as I drove. You were new on the job, but the light in you was shining bright, the same light that burns today. I remember coming on air as a secret guest and marveled on how easy you made it seem, you were born for this. You are so blessed, I love you@tokemakinwa have a spectacular day

Early life
Well known for his ability to sing fluently in the Igbo language, Flavour was born in Enugu State, Nigeria but is originally from Umunze in Orumba South LGA, Anambra State, Nigeria.

He began his music career at the age of 13 when he took to the drums for his church choir in Enugu. The resident pastor at his church introduced him to a friend, Chris I Ordor, the CEO of SoundCity Communications. Mr. Ordor who had just started a musical company aimed at training young musicians on the basics of music and nurturing them all the way to a professional level invited Flavour in 1996, to join the company on an educational scholarship to study music.
After three years of playing the drums, Flavour became a professional. In 1999, he moved on from playing the drums and started playing the keyboard. He also used to provide backing vocals for other musicians at SoundCity.
Career beginnings
At the age of 19, Flavour emerged unto Nigeria’s musical scene as a drummer and pianist for a local Enugu band. After learning to play drums professionally, Flavour received an offer to perform at City Centre, Enugu.
The massive crowd at City Centre inspired him to gain new grounds and reach great heights. Flavour’s educational background in music enabled him to learn music production from Dekumzy, Isi Charles and Nnachie.
He began his musical career as a drummer for a local church in his hometown of Enugu State. Flavour is popularly known across Africa and the world for his massive club banger “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)”. He is currently signed to 2nite Entertainment Music Label.

In 2005, he released his self titled debut album N’abania. In 2010, Flavour released his second studio album Uplifted. It was supported by the singles “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)”, “Adamma”, and “Oyi Remix”.
The album’s success made Flavour one of Africa’s most sought out artists. Flavour was booked to perform at numerous concerts and social events following Uplifted’s release
Blessed was released on 18 October 2012 through 2nite Entertainment and iROCKING LTD. The album is the successor to Uplifted. It is arguably Flavour’s biggest album to date due to the amount of producers that worked on it. It was launched on the same day of Flavour’s 2nite Club grand opening.

Family life

Flavour is the first son of a large family consisting of four siblings and seven step siblings. Flavour currently dwells in Lagos, Nigeria. Flavour’s family wasn’t very fond of his musical ambitions; they often dismissed it as a pipe dream. His mother in particular believed that his musical ambitions wouldn’t amount to anything.

alibaba-comedian
Comedian Ali Baba has penned down a worded letter to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari published on his Instagram page.
See his piece below:
“Mr President… I am a Nigerian comedian. I have done it for over 25 years. However, I am also a writer, a poet, father, a photographer, real estate investor, oil and gas player, motivational speaker, brand catalyst, social media junkie, ideas generator and lover of printed materials. I also have been a social, economic, political and general observer of trends.
My opinion may not be backed up by a professional calling like that of the people who parade themselves around you. I do not want political appointment, I have said no to offers before. You may want to ask my father, OBJ. I say it as it is and if you ask him he will also tell you what the consequences of not listening will be.
Many now regret not listening. Fight corruption like you are doing now and punish all who have enriched themselves by defrauding this country. Confiscate all their properties. Withdraw their national honours, if they got any. Blacklist companies, banks and financial institutions that were used as conduit for robbing the state of her funds. Jail the people who dipped their hands in our pensions fund, charge them for the deaths of people who died on the queue waiting for accreditation while someone was lounging on their hard earned sweat. Prosecute whoever failed to carry out the ruling of all the justices who sat at the Supreme Court that directed that Justice Salami be reinstated but nothing was done.
Strengthen the security agencies. Jail policemen who abuse their powers. Lock up military men who cross their boundaries. In short as you have started tackling corruption follow it to the end and our country will get back to reckoning in the comity of nations.
By the way, your line used during elections is not working again. You lost the phone?”
