Arewa Youths Commend the Nigeria Police on war against crimes

The Arewa Youth Parliament on November, 20th 2015 paid a courtesy visit to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon E. Arase fdc, NPM at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

 

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Bashir Mohammed Maru, Speaker Arewa Youth Parliament commended the IGP for his reform initiatives which according to him have led to the reduction of crime in Nigeria. He also thanked the IGP for establishing the Complaint Response Unit (CRU) and commended President Mohammadu Buhari for his decision to work with IGP Arase.

 

In his response, IGP Arase thanked the Arewa Youth Parliament for the visit and called for their assistance in the establishment of a Police Youth Forum to help improve Police intelligence capability to enhance better communication between the Police and citizens.

 

IGP Solomon Arase also re-assured Arewa Youths and other youths of the country that he remains committed to the service of his fatherland at all times.
