Sometimes we all need a type of woman in our lives ” a sweet, loving and caring woman indeed”… On Thursday evening i asked my wife what she wants for her birthday, and also was telling her part of my plans for her big day, but without telling her am planing for a surprise party . But then she wasn’t happy, she snapped and walked out  and I was confused , wondering if I said something wrong…after sometime she was like did u see what I sent you on your DM?
Am like nop, she said check it , with tears in her eyes…..and so I checked I saw the picture of a child, who has cancer and needed to go for a surgery ……and then said to me, all I want for my birthday is for this child to have his surgery on monday ,, and so on Friday morning I contacted a family member of the child, asked a few questions, was told that some good Nigerians are donating, and how much they needed to complete for the surgery… And so I and my wife completed the fund needed…. They called us and thanked us:… Then I went back on my plans on how am going to make my wife’s birthday a special one…. And again she said pls even if u re planing for anything big or surprise for me….. That it won’t make her happy….. That she will rather prefer we spend it on this Eniola child ….. And so I cancelled all my plans, bcos it’s her wish……. By the way today is my lovely wife’s birthday …..happy birthday sweetie love you plenty plenty… And may God bless all the good Nigerians who contributed for this child surgery, and we pray is going to be successful …Amen!!!

Bimbo Akintola
Veteran Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola in a recent interview with The Punch Newspaper, talks about herself and the reasons she has been off the screen.
To her,
“It is not a matter of rebranding! It is a matter of believing in something. I started talking to myself that I am tired of being in every movie that doesn’t say anything. I decided I want to be part of movies that say something and I choose my script now. We as actors have a duty to Nigeria, because we are known, so people use that popularity to make a difference. So with me, I am only doing stories that mean something to me,” she said.
On how she lost so much weight,
“I just exercise, I do a lot of exercise. I am a regular person at the gym and they would tell you that I am usually there by 5:40am. But since I have started shooting, I have had to stop.”
She also reveals her real self,
“I am a very simple person. I love my Mum to bits; she is the most important person in my life. I have friends who have been my friends for over 20 years. I love cooking, I love singing. I believe in God Almighty. I like being part of younger people’s lives; I like to help because I know that I’m not just here for show, I’m doing something to help somebody else.”

According to them,
“No, never, the sky is big enough to accommodate anybody, we have been here before some of them, we have our fan base, we can’t because its not important, don’t forget, every product has its market, we are just like the BRT bus, we are on our lane and they are on their lane, so we have no reason to be intimidated, no body is competition with anybody. The good thing is that, they respect us because we mind our business, so no need for intimidation or feeling intimidated”.
On what have kept them binding over the years they said,

I meet my partner in 1995, that’s about 20years now, then we were doing our ND program in Kwara state polytechnic. I remember how music is been done then, very stressful, nobody to help you, it was very difficult recording songs then, my partner and I understands ourselves because we were friends before becoming partner.”

“I believe we are still together because we see ourselves as brothers, friends and partner. Not like we don’t have issues, we do, but understanding, tolerance and maturity has been our watch-word.”

Teddy nd Kefee
Husband of late gospel singer, Teddy Don-Momoh a radio presenter and has opened up on life after her death and why he is taking his time to find love again.
Excerpts from his interview with Punch below:
What do you miss the most about your late wife?
I miss her so much. Waking up in the morning and knowing she was still there were some of the memories I cherished. Today, I wake up and find books lying in her place. It is so sad.
How have you been coping since she passed on?
Life has got to move on. I am still trying to get a grip of myself. She was the best thing that actually happened to me but she just disappeared in a flash. I am happy that she is resting in God’s bosom. Although she is not here with me today, we both planned to be together forever. But, I cannot question God.
What were some of the plans you both had for the future?
We had so many personal plans, but she is no longer there. It is more like when you are driving a car and you miss your way, you have to reroute. I am currently rerouting my life’s journey.
How difficult is the rerouting process for you?
I am rebooting all over again. I am a Christian and I do not believe anything is difficult. As a child of God, I believe that whatever happens to you is the will of God for you. I tell myself that I live according to God’s will and I thank Him, knowing that everything is working together for my good to fulfill my destiny. I know my stand with Him.
Do you intend to remarry sooner or later?
I am walking in God’s purpose. Whatever happens right now is in his hands. If he says I will marry again, I will know. It actually took me a long time before I married the first time, because I had not heard from God and had not met the right person. Now, I am in a hush moment.
