QUOTE ME: Most leaders are never appreciated in their lifetime Says Obasanjo

QUOTE ME:
"Most leaders are never appreciated in their lifetime . Only a few like Winston Churchill managed to enjoy such luxury, and only after he had been denigrated as a warmonger and even lost the British General Election so soon after the World War II. Ironically he was later to be declared man of the century'. 'Not only do I take consolation in the history of great leaders that are not appreciated in their lifetime, but I have also reached the conclusion that any leader who deliberately seeks human commendation for his performance in public office will be frustrate and end up being one of the most disappointed human beings. I read the Bible and biographies for sustenance."
President Olusegun Obasanso, MY WATCH vol.3 p114.
