The ill-fated Bristow Helicopter was Overloading-AIB

The ill-fated Bristow Helicopter was made for only eight people but 12 were on board when the accident took place. Another problem identified was the poor communication system of the helicopter. This were made known in Lagos today by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Meanwhile 2 more bodies have been found while the remains of the ill-fated helicopter had been evacuated from the lagoon. 
Felix Abali of AIB who briefed the press claimed the Commission is in possession of the manifest but refused to release it until the families of the victims are duly contacted. The permanent secretary, Aviation Ministry, Binta Bello was also at the site of the accident.
But the black box has not been located, according to the Accident Investigating Bureau. Captain Ado Sanusi who spoke on CHANNELS TV also corroborated this and said the disaster could be traced to some factors but said the outcome of the AIB investigations would unmask the main factors.
