NSCDC NOT RECRUTING: SHUN ONLINE ADVERTISEMENT SAYS NSCDC

Worried by the reports of desperate applicants fallen prey to the activities of fraudsters, through online advertisement, the Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu warned desperate job seekers to beware of fraudsters and desist from patronising scammers via online advertisement. He made this statement reacting to the recent ill-fated online advertisement on the sales of NSCDC application form. He advised the general public and applicants to discard, disregard and ignore such advertisement to avoid being swindled by mischief makers and unscrupulous elements whose business is to mis-inform the public and rob them of their belonging.

He said "The Corps is neither recruiting nor replacing as its usually tagged by the scammers; therefore the Corps will adequately inform the general public on the modalities to be adopted, when recruitment into the service will commence and the mode of application through advertisement in the National dailies." he added.

Apart from the online advertisement for recruitment, he noted that, the rumour by scammers that the Corps recruitment is ongoing, thereby, asking applicants to either fill application form online or make payment to some fraudulent account numbers for the purpose of replacement and recruitment into the service should be discarded. These are all false information and those behind it are malicious and wicked, therefore, those who engages themselves in deceiving and misinforming the public for financial gain should desist from such act or face the wrath of the law if caught, for the law is no respecter of anyone.

We wish to state emphatically that, the Corps is not recruiting. The process of recruitment into the Corps is not through online, rather, vacancies will be advertised on National dailies when the time comes. However, whosoever shows level of desperation and patronises online scammers and fall prey to their antics will face it alone, as the Corps will not take responsibility of any illegal and illicit act.
The public should note that the Corps do not engage any person or group of persons as agent or consultant on recruitment matter. Applicants should be careful in order not to turn victim of circumstances
