Meet Five Nigerian Sisters Who Just Graduated From Law School Together Posted: 15 Jul 2016 04:30 AM PDT Five sisters from the same mother and father recently graduated from the Nigerian Law School this week and they are generating quite the social media buzz. One of the sisters, celebrating her siblings and her success, wrote on her Instagram page, “we’re siblings, of the same man and woman; these are not costumes… we’re actually lawyers! All of us 5 :)” Photographer Jonah Ajigo of Brookmatrix Photography, who documented their achievement on camera, gave a bit of an origin story for the five cheerful looking sisters and their parents. Ubi Franklin Finally Clears The Air On Why Iyanya Is Really Leaving Triple MG Posted: 15 Jul 2016 02:30 AM PDT Made Men Music Group co-founder and CEO, Ubi Franklin, in a lengthy Instagram post, has cleared the air on singer, Iyanya’s departure from the record label and what really prompted him to pursue a solo project in a bid to sign artistes to a label he would be controlling. He explained that there was no bad blood between Iyanya and him and the Kukere star will be floating an imprint that will still be affiliated to Triple MG. Read his post: Recently there’s been a lot said in the media about Iyanya leaving Made Men Music, I’d like to clarify things. Iyanya had approached me about a year ago and notified me of his intentions to start up a label. He wanted my blessings to do so and I told him it was a welcome development. I assured him of my support to help structure his planned label with the existing company (Made Men Music Group) whenever he was ready and the process was initiated. Two weeks ago he shared with me, news that the company had been duly registered and was ready to commence operations. I was also privy to the information that he had identified a few artistes with potential he wants to nurture. This done, I knew the label was ready to kick off. I understand his post piqued the curiosity of the public and blogs made what they could of the news. Yes, Iyanya is starting a new label which will be a company out of Made Men Music with a different structure and a different focus, aiming at growing our industry.
