Nigerian Civil Defencec Sanctions Two Officers

NSCDC SUSPENDS TWO OFFICERS FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS.

As the lead agency in the Protection of National Assets and Critical Infrastructures of the Federation Government of Nigeria, the Management of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have noted with dismay, the alleged possession of illegal petroleum products suspected to be AGO by two officers of the Corps who were recently arrested and paraded in Bayelsa State.

The Commandant General of the Corps, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu who made this known, says the Corps have set up a panel of inquiry to investigate the matter for proper action to be taken in line with the public service rules. However, the affected personnel, Assistant Superintendent of Corps (ASCI) Agah Utavie and Assistant Superintendent of Corps (ASCII) Angel S.K. are hereby suspended from the service until investigations are concluded in this case.

The Corps helmsman is using this opportunity to warn officers and men  of the Corps and all others with similar intentions to desist in their own interest as NSCDC is repositioned and ever ready to fulfil her core mandate for national development and will not tolerate any act of sabotage.
