Mai Atafo is a Nigerian bespoke fashion tailor known to be one of the most recognized and sought-after designers in the fashion industry .

1 Ohimai Atafo was born in Ile-Ife, Osun State to a big family, with six brothers and two sisters to be exact. He’s originally an indigene of Ora in the southern state of Edo.
2 Mai studied at the University Staff School Benin then the Federal Government College Ido-Ano Ondo State and later on attended the City University UK for his Masters in Information Systems Technology.
3 2010 was the big year Mai quit his job as a brand manager in Guinness Nigeria to grow his fashion line.
4 He had already started his fashion empire years before leaving guinness, dressing the likes of Omowunmi Akinifesi (Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, 2005), Banky W and IK Osakioduwa with designs from Mai Atafo Inspired.
5 He launched his highly acclaimed fashion line, Weddings by Mai in July 2011. Designs have graced the catwalk in different editions of the fashion show, Dream Wedding, featuring popular celebrities as models – Yvonne Nelson, Banky W, Beverly Naya and Joseph Benjamin to name a few.
6 His brand name ‘MAI ATAFO INSPIRED‘ is cleverly coined from his real name Ohimai Atafo – M for Mai, A for Atafo, and I for Inspired.
7 In 2013, he became a mentor on The Fashion Protege, a show set on nurturing Africa’s next fashion pioneers. This cemented Mai’s status as a force to reckon with in the world of African fashion.
8 Mai was a Strategy Director for an Advertising Agency; Firehouse Group as well as Event Compere, Emceeing the return of the Miss Nigeria Pageant in 2010 after a seven years break with Co host, One time Miss World, Agbani Darego. Mai Atafo is a community mentor, he heads the Future Awards Central working committee.
9 He is married to Christine Atafo. The couple are parents to a beautiful little girl.
10 Mai has received numerous awards over the years in recognition of his craftsmanship. They include City People Fashion and Style’s Hottest New Designer (Male), which he won twice, Mode Men Magazine’s Fashion Designer of the Year, Allure’s Most Stylish Man of the Year and LFDW Menswear Designer of the Year.

Former BB Naija housemate, Gifty was known to be contrversial for being fake while she was in the house especially when she claimed not to have been married.
After denying  to the media that she was not married, even after photos from her wedding was released by a family member, former Big Brother Naija 2017 housemate, Gifty Powers has revealed the truth.
Speaking to HipTV, the actress said:
“The marriage you see was kind of real. Yes, I was once married and it’s a dark part of my life that I don’t want to ever go back. My advice to every young girl out there is that before you go into marriage, you have to be physically, mentally, emotionally and physiologically matured. Because I was naive.”

Davido who is known for flaunting his wealth took to twitter be an anti-recession agent when he dropped the tweet “I feel like giving out money today”.
A lot of people have flooded his account, begging for money, and Ghanaian hip hop artist, Mr Eazi decided not be left out.
Mr Eazi, Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife recording artist wrote:
“Make I Dm my accnt number Biko” and then ‘OBO’  and Davido gave him an epic reply.

3 Liz Da Silva
Elizabeth Omowunmi Tekovi Da Silva is a Nigerian (Nollywood) actress and producer born in Obalende to Togolese parents. She features mostly in Yoruba indigenous movies and started her professional acting career in 2004 when she was introduced by star actress Iyabo Ojo.
4 Mercy Aigbe
She hails from Edo State and is happily married to Lanre Gentry. The beautiful thespian is blessed with two children, a boy and a girl.
5 Toyin Abraham

Toyin Abraham formerly known as Toyin Aimakhu who was once married to Adeniyi Johnson is from Auchi in Edo State.
6 Kevin Ikeduba

Kevin Ngozi Ikeduba born on August 21 in Ebute-Metta is from Delta state and widely known as the ‘Bad Boy’ in Nollywood, he is one of the few stars that act in both Yoruba and English movies.
7 Doris Simeon

Doris Simeon was born in Lagos but her parents hail from Okpella in Benin, Edo state. She has a son with ex-husband, Daniel Ademinokan.
8 Richardo Agbor
He is from Ikom local government area in Cross River State  but was raised in Lagos. He has in popular Yoruba and English movies.
9 Regina Chukwu
Regina Chukwu who lost her husband about 14 years ago is an Igbo lady popularly known for her roles in Yoruba movies.
10 Rose Odika
Although she is based in Ibadan, the Yoruba actress hails from Aniocha North local government of Delta state.

Award winning film maker and producer, Daniel Ademinokan has come out to reveal why he married beautiful Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus.
Daniel made this known after Stella made an inspiring post on her Instagram. He said people are still wondering why he married her, saying who wouldn’t want a smart and intelligent hottie as a wife.

It was indeed a meeting of royals as Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II and his wife, Olori Wuraola, met with british royalty, Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, at the Commonwealth day reception in London on Monday, March, 13, 2017.
The Ooni and his wife are currently in the UK on a 10-day tour to promote the yoruba culture.

In his words; ‘ I love my baby mama, haha, Sophie, We Up!’
Recall that Davido and Sophia Momodu were at loggerheads in 2016.
