Ace Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola recently spoke on Dayo Amusa’s latest movie, ‘Pathetic’ and why its focus seems to be more on celebrities than on average people.
Akintola said;
“It’s not just being a celebrity but her being a celebrity didn’t make it easy on the marriage in that sense. The way you can look at it from a celebrity standpoint is because everybody knows you because of your profession. Doctors are not known because of their medium but the medium for our work is television and television is something everyone has in their homes. So, because of that, we are known and things that happen to us get more attention than what happens to normal people.” 
“An abuse does not know celebrity or no-celebrity. It’s just whoever it is that has abuse physical or are being abused physically.”, she stressed.
On whether she has ever been exploited in the manner the movie portrayed;
“It’s not something that has happened to me personally before because I have not been married before. I am single.”
Pathetic is a human interest story from Dayo Amusa and will be released at the cinemas in March 24, 2017.

Thin Tall Tony, and other housemates were under the impression that Bisola and Bally had exited the Big Brother Naija show. Meanwhile, they were taken to a secluded part of the house for the week which was unknown to the housemates.

Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu who is fond of calling out celebrities on social media has alleged that female  Nollywood celebrities sexually harass me in Asaba.
As usual he took to his Instagram page and wrote; ‘I am tired of all this sexual harassment from most of our so called female celebrities, especially top actresses in Nollywood… For the fact that i am single doesn’t mean I should give in to your sexual advances. Let me categorically state that I am single but am not searching… I have had so many actresses in nollywood played and toiled with my heart♥ in the past, and am not ready to allow it happen again, why is it that every time I am on a movie location in Asaba, I get sexually harrassed by some actresses? I have tried to tell them politely that I am not interested in having any relationship yet, but they keep forcing themselves on me. The last movie location I was on in Enugu, that’s how a particular actress tried to force herself on me while I was in the toilet… If not that i screamed aloud, i might had gotten myself raped..This is getting out of hand, and I think it is not good at all. I am not the type of actor that sleeps around, I am God fearing and the last thing I will ever do is to allow one actress seduce me into sleeping with her while am on a movie location, I don’t mix business with pleasure dear, I am very professional. Gabriel Afolayan is an actor and musician who became a popular face in Nollywood after appearing in Tade Ogidan’s ‘Madam Dearest’.
1 He was born on March 1st to the family of Music Icon, Adeyemi Afoloyan (Ade Love) in Agbamu, Kwara State.
2 He studied Theater Arts at The University of Ibadan.

In an Interview shared by Channels TV, the suave singer listed some major requirements that his future wife must possess.
He said:
1 She must have some ambition. Whatever it is that you choose to do, be ambitious in that. Have something that you are going after. I don’t want a stay at home woman. A woman that has nothing going on. Whatever it is. You don’t need to be a billionaire, you don’t need to be making a lot of money, just have something you are working on.
2 A love for family and a love for God are very important to me because I am a very family oriented guy. I’m very into my family time and I want a woman who’s about that as well.
3 Friendly… because I have friends from all walks of life. I don’t only relate with one sort of person. So I don’t want somebody who is only comfortable in ratchet places or boujee (high class) places. You have to be able to cross the divide.
4 I like to cook, so my wife doesn’t really need to know how to cook. I’m cool with that. It is more important to me that you are skilled in the other room (laughs) than in the kitchen.
5 Personal development. Education might not be necessary but personal development is. You never stop learning even if it is not in a classroom. So have that drive to develop yourself.
