The winger passed his medical test on Friday, and has reportedly signed a contract regarded as club record transfer deal worth over £18million.
He has also found back of the net on 11 occasions in 58 appearances for the Super Eagles, two of them coming in the 3-2 defeat to Argentina in the 2014 World Cup.
Reacting to the development, the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has taken to Twitter to congratulate the player.
It wrote, “Congratulations to Ahmed Musa on his move to English Champions, Leicester City. Paint the EPL green with goals.”
