Wazobia FM on-air-personality Lolo who is also a stand-up comedian has called out popular comedienne Princess labelling her stand-up routine as an embarrassment to female comedians in the country.
She took to her Instagram page and shared this:
“Good morning guys! I have some things I’ve always wanted to get off my mind.
I totally respect and have absolute faith in the growth of the “Stand Up” comedy industry in Nigeria. But I think Females in this industry have a whole lot of work to do. We’re strong, we are beautiful and we are talented but unfortunately some have allowed “pettiness” “rudeness ” and downright classlessness, override whatever form of talent they have” wrote Lolo.
The OAP then went on to criticize Princess for her unprofessional behaviour. “I’m usually not one to call people out, (especially my colleagues) but at this point, someone needs to talk to PRINCESS the ‘comedian’. Madam, what you do on stage is no longer comedy. You’re still acting after the audience have gone. Your attitude, downright rudeness and absolute ridiculousness on stage is an embarrassment to female comedians.”
As a so called veteran, you of all people should know that when the joke is no longer funny, it’s time to exit the stage. if you know her, please tell her. Madam, abeg clear road. It’s either you work on your craft and fix whatever psychological and emotional issues you have, or leave the stage. Either way, stop embarrassing us” further wrote Lolo1.

With the Iceprince/Maima cheating scandal still trending on social media, artiste Toni Payne tweeted at people trolling the Choc Boy Nation rapper and asked them to let him be.
According to her,
“You all should free Iceprince, his girl, his business. Why are you all so hell bent on taking panadol for what doesn’t affect you?”
And it wasn’t long before she became a trending topic, with many people reminding her that her ex husband, 9ice, had accused her of cheating on him with his counterpart, Ruggedman.
9ice however who recently made peace with Ms Payne, has issued an official statement, clearing the mother of his child of all rumours of cheating instigated by his song, ‘Once Bitten Twice Shy’.
Read his statement issued through his Instagram account, “She NEVER cheated on me.”

It has come to my attention that some people were up to some mischief harassing Toni Payne regarding an evil rumor that was spread years ago. I would like to use this opportunity to state categorically that the song Once Bitten Twice shy was not and can never be about Toni Payne. I have NEVER accused her or told anybody that she cheated on me because she DID NOT. It did not happen and it was never an issue. Let me be very clear. Toni Payne NEVER cheated on me. Some marriages do not work for different reasons.
Unfortunately I released my album at a very delicate time in our relationship and a song from the album was taken the wrong way and things were blown out of proportion due to my silence.
I have apologized to her in person and she has accepted my apology. I have moved on to a fresh start and she has moved on too. I would appreciate if the general public do the same. “I would appreciate if people refrain from insulting her for something she is not guilty of”
Once again, the song Once Bitten Twice Shy was NEVER about TONI PAYNE. It was just a song. I wish I had come out sooner but I cannot change the past, I can only try and make amends for the future.
It is a new dawn for us all and I hope this closes the topic permanently. If it does not, maybe it is best I release a song clarifying this issue for the 100th time because what started all this was a song and all my effort to clear that air via interviews have been futile. I assure you, I will stop at nothing to make sure this evil rumor is put to sleep once and for all. Again It was never my intention to cause her pain. My apologies to everyone who was affected. Yesterday, a defamation lawsuit filed by one of his many accusers was dismissed by a Judge in Pennsylvania, marking his third win in court this year. The suit was filed by a woman named Renita Hill who accused the 78-year-old comedian of defaming her when he and his lawyers responded to allegations that he drugged and sexually assaulted her and other women.
The suit was dismissed without prejudice which means Ms. Hill cannot try to amend it or re-file it again.
Earlier this month, the once loved comedian had two sexual assault charges against him rejected.
Bill Cosby’s lawyer made a statement after the hearing, addressing recent claims of sexual assault by some women: ”The never-before-heard claims from women who have come forward in the past two weeks with unsubstantiated, fantastical stories about things they say occurred 30, 40, or even 50 years ago have escalated far past the point of absurdity.” he said.
Bill Cosby is still facing a litany of lawsuits, ranging from defamation to sexual assault, with several women who have publicly accused the actor of sexual assault.

She is close to Akin & Maima. She thought it was wrong Maima was cheating on u so she told me about dere trip together in Paris/London. When I now landed dere pages, ma detective eye saw d matching dates & backgrounds to create d pic frames dat r circling all d blogs.
Someone copied my work & sent it to Stella, & others followed which is how d truth got lost in translation.
AKIN NEVER WANTED TO BE EXPOSED. It is not him dat is trying to claim her or chase her publicly. He is a married man, no married man wants to disgrace his family. Why else would he lock his page and change his name? Obviously he’s embarrassed by being caught.
I know Maima fed u some bullshit about her in law being dere, Will Collins. But what u need to understand is Maima & Akin have been seeing for a long time. He knows all of her friends and family.
