Jose
Mourinho is so desperate to become the next Manchester United manager,
that he has written a six-page letter to the club, vowing to adhere by
their principles.
Mourinho has been out of job, since he was
sacked by Roman Abramovich last year and is keen to manage another
Premier League club again.
However, there is a considerable
percentage of people at United, who are not looking in his direction,
because of his controversial personality, his style of football and
failure to nurture young talents.
The
Red Devils are still struggling for creativity and form, with
speculation increasing that current boss, Louis van Gaal, could quit the
club at the end of the season.
Mourinho has now attempted to make
himself a leading candidate, by writing to the club, in which he
detailed how much he wants the job.
He also presented a forensic
analysis of the current team and the areas he will improve upon if he is
hired. Mourinho went as far as indicating the signings he would make to
strengthen the team.
United reportedly snubbed Mourinho in 2013 after Sir Alex Ferguson retired and named David Moyes their new coach.
