How Death Took Away Three Of Jide Kosoko’s Wives Posted: 07 Jun 2016 05:00 AM PDT Jide Kosoko is one man who has known bereavement all too well. His third wife, Henrietta passed away on Monday 5th June, 2016  at the Sacred Heart Catholic Hospital, Lantoro, Abeokuta. She was 53 years old at the time of her death. 62-year-old Kosoko had earlier lost two wives to the clutches of death within a period of 11 months. A year ago, Jide was faced with the possibility of yet another death when Henrietta survived a near-fatal accident along Sagamu-Abeokuta road but it seemed fate was only prolonged. Sources disclose that her death came as a result of complications she had from that accident. He lost his first and second wives between October 1992 and November 1993. The first wife was the mother of Sola, his actress daughter, and his second wife died due to complications from childbirth. Not wanting to let this tragedy weigh him down, the popular actor married Henrietta and subsequently, Kareemat, his fourth and now only wife. Few years ago, Sola Kosoko expressed her displeasure with her father for opting to marry multiple wives. However, Jide, in his defence, explained that he never set out to practise polygamy, but it was all according to God’s will. His first two marriages produced seven children, and the number grew after he picked Kareemat in addition to the deceased. It is hoped that the renowned thespian is giving the divine fortitude to bear the loss. Toke Makinwa Officially Files For Divorce From Estranged Husband, Maje Ayida Posted: 06 Jun 2016 11:00 AM PDT On Air Personality, Toke Makinwa has officially filed divorce papers against her estranged husband, Maje Ayida. Petition documents made available to several bloggers, reveal that the media personality and Maje have been living separately since November, 2015. Citing Maje’s adulterous relationship with one Anita Solomon which led to the birth of a baby boy last July, Toke also stated in the document that the bad publicity the debacle brought on her made her lose a 20 million Naira endorsement deal with a Telecommunications company. Jide Kosoko’s Wife, Henrietta Kosoko Is Dead Posted: 06 Jun 2016 07:30 AM PDT Henrietta Kosoko, actress and wife of renowned Nollywood actor and former president of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP) , Jide Kosoko has passed away according to The Nation. The veteran actress was alleged to have died in the morning of Monday, June 6 after she had slumped at home and was rushed to the hospital where she was alleged confirmed dead. A close family source told The Nation, “She was in coma and eventually gave up the ghost, she’s actually been battling diabetics for a while now cause her sugar level keeps fluctuating” Henrietta Kosoko celebrated her 53rd birthday a week to her death.
