Things have
reportedly gone sour between Abdulahi Olatoyan popularly known as the
dapper windscreen cleaner, and OUCH CEO, Uche Nnaji who offered to
employ Olatoyan after his story went viral.
According to Encomium, just weeks into his new job,
Abdulahi walked out on OUCH, fuming that his life hasn’t changed since
he was signed on.
In response to his words, Uche Nnaji then told him thathe was not God that transforms destinies overnight.
He said, “I am not your father, I owe you nothing. This
sense of entitlement is shocking. Does this guy think I transform
destinies overnight? That solely is an exclusive preserve of God the
Miracle Worker”

Olatoyan shot to limelight in May 2016 after pictures of
him washing windscreens in a dapper suit went viral on social media. It
even landed him a feature on CNN.
The 30 year old University dropout won the admiration of
many when he wore a bright polka dot suit and red velvet bow tie as he
washed windscreens for tips in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
He immediately got a job offer via Instagram at menswear
label, OUCH as a style doctor, where he would advice men on how to dress
flamboyantly but all was not as rosy as he had hoped so the young man
decided to return to the streets and continue his ‘hustle’.

 Top Nollywood acts including Eniola Afeez, Ronke Ojo, Sodiq Adebayo, Yomi Fabiyi, Damola Olatunji and many others could not hold back the tears as they came to pay their last respects to their late colleague and friend, AbdulLateef Titilope who was lowered into mother earth yesterday morning. The talented actor and script-writer, known for playing the role of a Muslim cleric was laid to rest in his home town in Oyo state. AdbulLateef passed away after two days of sickness. He was said to have complained of fever before he was taken to the hospital where he died. Controversial Cool FM OAP and watch
freak, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze shared a photo of himself and
his dad in celebration of Fathers Day with the caption, “You are my dad, my doctor and my friend! Love you always.”
The picture instantly generated crazy
reactions due to the apparent difference in complexion between him and
his father. Someone even asked on Freeze’s Instagram page if the
broadcaster was adopted.
This is the second time he is sharing
photos of his father, a native of Osun State, on his Instagram page. A
lot of his fans who were unaware that he is indeed mixed race, were
quite perplexed by the huge complexion disparity.
    
Freeze’s dad made his first appearance on his son’s Instagram page when the OAP did his 40th birthday party in May.
He disclosed how his dad met his mum in
Romania years ago when his father won a scholarship to study medicine
over there. The couple are still very happily married and proud to have
their son.

The Green Land singer shared the photos on her Instagram page while recounting how Adekunle and her were able to come up with the concept for the shoot titled, ‘ADEKUNLE GOLD : BECOMING KING’ and execute it nicely.  She wrote: ADEKUNLE GOLD : BECOMING KING I’m looking forward to attending his coronation .. I got to hear unreleased music while I made his portraits . …Nothing quite like his sound .. He’s the real deal…!He’s about to be crowned and I’m certain. Im a song writer myself ..so I can tell… Nigeria and indeed the world are about to discover their new favorite genius …One day I’ll be boasting about how I heard those songs before they came out .. The idea for @adekunlegold ‘s portraits came two days before he called me . I had just read about Bezaleel on Exodus 31 .. And how God gave him creative genius to work with Gold , silver and bronze .  I had made some art images that emotionally said everything I wanted but just never felt quite right … Bezaleel’s work spoke to me .. My work was missing some metal .So I began to study the use of metal in sculpture and design ….how to bring that into my work I was trying to figure out which of my artist friends I’d like to collaborate with when Adekunle Gold’s messages started flooding in . .. He sent me photographs of designs and concepts with gold elements and asked me what I thought … I just smiled .. God had gifted me beautiful work and had taken time to prepare me . I tried to stay calm as I started going on about how I was tying to decode Exodus 31 and bring it into my work .. And roughly described some ideas that I had for his album art .. I didn’t need to say much more .. He was completely in .  I collaborated with Sobukola Oluwanisola , an artist friend of mine and we decided on using recycled metal built into crowns and deconstructed as pieces for the portraits .  Seyi Shay’s recent gaffe in an interview with Jaimacan DJ and show host, DJ Akademiks has caused a stir on social media. The Nigerian singer who is currently in Jamaica, alleged on Akademiks show called On Stage, that Drake’s hit song, ‘One Dance’ was actually owned by Wizkid who gave it to the Canadian superstar. She also claimed that Legendury Beatz and a few producers worked on the track which was later reproduced to fit Drake’s style. She said, “Drake sampled Afrobeats, It was actually Wizkid’s song so it was not Drake’s song, I don’t know if I can I talk about this but it’s actually Wizkid’s song, Wizkid wrote it, Legendary Beats and some other Nigerian producers produced it as an Afrobeat song and they stripped a lot of the music away…” Responding to the statements made by Seyi Shay on Jamaican national television, Wizkid took to his Twitter to clarify things stating that “she lied”.
