Addressing reporters in Bamaina village in Birninkudu local government area of the state, the former governor stressed that the current crises is an indication that the party is still strong and viable.
Lamido noted that the party has the capacity to resolve its differences, adding that the crises within the party would soon be over.
Lamido stressed that people will always fight for what is “existent, valuable, worthy and important.
“PDP is a big party that has history and it is a party of conglomeration of all Nigerians across divides.
“This is not our first crisis; if you go down our history from the formation of the party, you will notice that this is not the first time we are having crisis.
He further noted that the two aggrieved leaders, Sen Ahmed Makarfi and Sen Ali Modu Sherrif are members of PDP and would remain members irrespective of the current crisis.
