‘How My Wife Toasted Me’ -Yemi Solade Reveals Posted: 08 Jan 2017 07:00 AM PST Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade has opened up on how he met his present wife, Hannah Marsh-Solade who was a former actress. He said, “My wife actually toasted me. I had previously been married, but my first wife left me and went abroad. I met my current wife on the set of Wale Adenuga’s Super Story. God indeed has a sense of humour because I met two half-castes that year, Lilian Bach and Hannah Marsh. Lilian played my wife, while Hannah acted as my secretary in that particular production. I liked Hannah, but I initially did not want to get involved with half-caste ladies because I felt they are expensive to maintain, and only rich men can handle them. However, we met again and unknown to me, she had also been eyeing me, so she asked me to bring my phone, and she dialed her number on it. We all know the rest of the story, and now, we have two kids between us. Funke Akindele & JJC Skillz Are The Ultimate Power Couple As They Launch Record Label Posted: 08 Jan 2017 04:00 AM PST Top Yoruba actress, Funke Akindele and husband, JJC Skillz have laaunched their own record label, SceneOne records housed under SceneOne productions. The pair unveiled the signed acts under the label at their house warming ceremony. the artists include Mo’Eazy ( formerly signed to Darey’s Soul Muzik), Ruby and Pearl (Gemstones), MartinsFeelz and Sonorous. According to the duo, their reason for floating the label is to give young promising artists another platform to express and share their gifts to the world. “Let’s help young and upcoming acts nurture their God given talent, create a platform for them to be seen,” Funke remarked on her suggestion to husband JJC about springing up a record label, knowing fully well his repertoire as a singer and producer. They also announced the roll out of a TV show “Industreet” which is said to be focused on the music industry. The artists were then called out one after the other, as they all performed the theme song for the forthcoming TV show.
