 Early Life Korede (English:“harvest”) was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, where he completed his primary and secondary school education. He started performing at the age of 7 and went by the stage name African Prince. While in primary school, Korede Bello went on to write his first song after forming a music group with a friend.  He started music professionally by recording songs in the studio while in secondary school, and eventually released his first single “Forever”. He studied Mass Communication at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and holds a National Diploma certificate. Korede Bello is an Associate Member of the Institute of Information Management. Career After the release of his first single which received relatively positive reviews, he was introduced to Don Jazzy by his manager Casmir Uwaegbute after which they recorded some songs together which got Don Jazzy impressed.On 28 February 2014, he got signed to Mavin Records under which he has recorded popular songs like Mungo Park, “African Princess” and “Godwin”.He is currently working on his first studio album and cites Asa and 2face Idibia as people he draws inspiration from. Korede Bello is also known for his wink in “Dorobucci” music video.  Korede Bello won the award for the Most Promising Music Act To Watch in the Nigeria Teen Choice Awards 2014,Best Song of the Year,4th Annual Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards also in 2014. In 2015 , Nigeria Entertainment Awards, he was nominated for Hottest Single of The Year and Best New Act. That same year,he won an award for Best Pop Single at The Headies 2015 and was also nominated for Song of the year and next rated. This year, Korede Bello won Pop Artiste Of The Year in City People Entertainment Awards. Korede signed a multi-million Naira endorsement deal with popular telecom company GLO on the 1st of July 2015. Personal Life He is currently unmarried and was rumoured to have dated daughter of the president of Nigeria, Zahra Buhari.  Controversies Most people do not agree with Korede bello’s birth date(1996), they believe that he might be in his early or mid 20s.Tania Omotayo once shared a video of she and Korede Bello in London and the public went agog. Stories arose that he was seeing Wizkid’s ex-girlfriend cos he told her he loved her in the video.
