 Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye also known as Simplysimi was born in 1988. She came into the spotlight after she released singles like: Tiff, Love Dont Care and Jamb question.
The 28 year old songstress
is a graduate of Mass communication from Covenant University. She wrote
her first tune at the age of 10 and started singing at the age of 16.
Due to her love for arts, she started singing and dancing as teenager
and as a member of the teenage church choir.
The Ondo state indigene is
the only girl in the midst of four boys and the last born of four
children; as a result of being the only girl in the midst of four boys,
Simi used to be a tomboy while she was growing up. She was brought up by
a single mum because her parents were separated when she was only 9.
 Her genre of music is Afro-pop. With a blend of Afro-beat, pop, soul, high-life and has been in the musical industry for about 7 years and counting. Her debut album was launched in 2008, produced by Samklef; the album featured songs such as Ara Ile, Ogaju, Iya Temi, to name a few. She started off as gospel with the songs in her debut album. In 2011, she met the talented producer/songwriter (Oscar Heman-Ackah) and they both connected musically. However, it wasn’t until 2013 that she officially signed a production contract with Oscar Music Production, after which they both nurtured and created a fresh and genius direction to her sound, style and music in its entirety. Her songs are inspired by other peoples stories and experiences, she carves out songs from random day-to-day gists which makes her songs very realistic and interesting. RELATIONSHIP AND PERSONAL LIFE  The Jamb question crooner is in a relationship with Adekunle Gold, but the duo are yet to confirm this publicly. She has also been rumored to be dating Falz but she cleared the air that the relationship between them is strictly professional.  |

 According to reports, the ”koko master” D’banj has revealed his intentions of making his debut appearance into Hollywood. The singer and entertainer who is currently hosting the MTV show LipSync Battle Africa, revealed this to South African radio host, Anele Mdoda. According to the singer who is having a reality show about himself, he might also be on the hit TV series “Isidingo.” In his words: “Once you say you’re an entertainer‚ you don’t want to limit yourself. So yes‚ I’m going into Hollywood. It might be here in South Africa where I’ll be having a reality show about me. I told you I might be on Isidingo soon,” he said.  |

The mother of two whose failed marriage to Afeez Abiodun popularly known as Afeez Owo became public on Afeez’s birthday is being hospitalized following the trauma she suffered based on the public outburst of their marriage break up.
