With our different classic genres and blend of music, it’s so sad to note that no Nigerian musician has ever brought home the Grammys even when we know some of these artistes are doing their best. So, we bring to you Nigerian musicians, in no particular order, that can bring that award home for us! 1. LagbajaLagbaja is a multi-award winning Nigerian Afrobeat musician, singer and song- writer. Femi KutiOlufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti, popularly known as Femi Kuti, is a Nigerian musician and the eldest son of afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti. He has been nominated four times for the Grammy awards in the world music category in 2003,2010,2012 and 2013 but has never won it. Femi kuti’s voice was also featured in the video game ” Grand Theft Auto IV” 4. Timi DakoloTimi Dakolo is one refined Nigerian musician. His songs alone could make you fall in love at first sight. And that voice! It grabs your attention immediately you hear it. Also known as Nigeria’s King of Soul, he is one maker of beautiful noise! 5. Banky WBanky W is another fantastic Nigerian R n B singer. The crooner has won lot of awards inluding” John Leonnon song writing award and Independent Music Awards,USA”. 6. Darey Art AladeNigerian multi-platinum selling and award winning musician,singer-songwriter.Darey is another Grammy material hat with his powerful vocal power and sonorous voice. 7. PraizSome have called him the John Legend of Nigeria. Praiz can be said to be another Grammy material. 8. Cobhams AzuquoLegendary music man, Cobhams Asuquo is a Nigerian musician, producer, and songwriter. Cobhams has broken records in the Nigerian music industry as a visually-impaired musician. drawing to an end and some Nigerian footballers have made a lot in their
various football clubs. With the like of Obafemi Martins, Victor Moses

The number one spot goes to Austin Jay Jay
