Arrest Miyetti Allah Chairman Now - CAN tells FG

PRESS STATEMENT. 28TH JUNE 2018.
NORTHERN CAN CHAIRMAN CALLS FOR ARREST OF NORTH CENTRAL CHAIRMAN OF MIYETTI ALLAH CATTLE BREEDERS ASSOCIATION  DANLADI CIROMA OVER HIS COMMENTS OF PLATEAU KILLINGS FOR QUESTIONING BY SECURITY AGENCIES.

 Chairman Northern  Christian Association  of Nigeria in 19 Northern states  and the Federal capital  Territory Rev Yakubu Pam  has called for the arrest  of North Central Chairman  of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association    Danladi Ciroma over his statement in the wake of attacks and Killings of  innocent villagers in Gashishi district  of Barkinladi  Local Government council of Plateau state to the effect that the killing s was because over 300 Fulani cows were stolen by berom  cow rustlers.
Rev Pam in a statement in Jos on Thursday said it was wrong for Ciroma to  attribute  the killing  of Women and children in Barkinladi, Riyom and some other parts of the state by herders to Reprisal  attack for the  rustling of over 300 cows  of the Fulani Herders  in the affected localities  without any proof of evidence .
According the Northern CAN Leader, he is happy that the National leadership of MIYETTI Allah Cattle Breeders through its national secretary USMAN BABA NGELZERMA came out on Thursday morning on Channel television program to disown the statement made  by  DANLADI  CIROMA justifying the killings on the Plateau by Herders against the natives of Plateau .
Pam urged security agencies to immediately invite Ciroma for questioning to get useful information that will help the security agencies in arresting the perpetrators of the Barkinladi massacre that caused outrage within Nigeria and all over the world.
Rev Pam noted that nothing could justify  the senseless  attacks and killings of the locals in parts of Plateau, Benue, Taraba and Zamfara  states by these  elements that have become merchant of death in the Northern part of the Country.
According to him, all well meaning l Nigerians , religious bodies and world leaders have condemned  the evil that was visited on Plateau at the weekend and urged  the Plateau state government  in conjunction  with the federal government not to leave any stone on turned  in bringing  the perpetrators of attacks and killings in Plateau and other parts of the North to book as no one, no matter how highly  connected  should be allowed   to be above the law of the land .
In another development , the Northern Christian leader, called on Plateau state governor ,Simon Lalong as the Father of Plateau state by his position of Governor of the state to treat the incident  of Wednesday Plateau Christian groups that turned VIOLENT  at GOVERNMENT HOUSE with fatherly love and see the ugly incident as one of those things that hoodlums hijack from the planners at any interval.
According Pam, the protest march,  he leant on investigation  was   originally due to be carried  out peacefully by  CAN WOMEN  as Mothers ,but expressed regret that some Youth groups  hijacked it by vandalizing government properties within Rayfield Government House  .
The Northern CAN Leader advised Plateau leaders, Women and Youths to use this period to rally round Governor Lalong administration to proffer solutions to this frequent attacks and killings of Plateau citizens in the state rather pointing accusing fingers against one another.
He advised Governor Lalong to remain resolute in standing in the defense of his people at this trying time of the state.
