You may not look like or feel like much, but there is great power in
you. The power that raised Christ from the dead resides in you.
Jesus was born not only to be the perfect sacrifice but also to declare victory over death, hell and the grave. Paul said, "And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith" (1 Corinthians 15:14).
Jesus Christ rose from the dead, so death no longer has dominion over Him. And since you are in Him, death no longer has dominion over you.
Christ's victory over death is also yours if you are born of Him. Right now you live in hope of your redemption, but the promise is sure and you can rest in Him knowing He is faithful.
Colossians 1:13-14 says, "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." You may not feel powerful, but there is great power in you-power to defeat death through the resurrection of Christ Jesus!
