Tiwa Savage Is Back To Work, As Her Hubby Prepares For Rehab Posted: 04 May 2016 06:15 AM PDT        Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun, husband of singer Tiwa Savage has been quiet since his social media rant last week and his wife’s subsequent interview. Reports have now confirmed those close to him are working to help him recuperate and get rehabilitation. As Tiwa said in her Interview, Teebillz has not lived in their home for about two weeks and after his suicide attempt last week, he’s been sleeping at Banky W‘s home in Lekki. Sources confirmed last night that his close friends have now moved him to an apartment in 1004 estate in Victoria Island, Lagos, with the support of popular promoter Paul Okoye. ‘Everyone says he’s in a good place now, getting all the love and support he needs’, ‘They want him to have his life back. He’s definitely going into rehab.’ ‘His family in US are really praying for him and his close friends in Lagos are making efforts to get him to rehab’. Reports confirmed that some of the close friends supporting and advising him include Paul Okoye, Psquare‘s Peter, Banky W, CECIL HAMMOND and Omawumi‘s husband, Tosin Yusuf. Meanwhile his estranged wife Tiwa Savage is already back at work, with multiple sources confirming she was in a video set over the holidays. Those close to her say she’s ‘trying her best to stay strong and positive, and she’s not taking her mind off her work and her son- even for a minute.’

She died yesterday May 3rd in Lagos. Just two weeks ago, Nene shared on her Instagram page that she was very sick and prayed for God to heal her. Young people are no longer responsible or disciplined enough to stick it out in any given relationship and I fear that in the next five years, marriage as we know it, may become old fashion. Na WA!! A while back, I was talking to one of my sons who at 38 still can’t rap his head around the permanence of marriage and this gave me cause for concern when he asked me, “why must marriage be forever or for better for worse, and couldn’t it be for maybe a few years as mutually agreed.” I may be old/new school, but I still believe in Family and Marriage. I believe that every human being is created to have a desire to be married and some have a desire to be single. But most of us want to be married. So, you CANT have a healthy marriage with unhealthy habits. Mbanu!!! Whether or not a young couple stay together often depends on why they got married in the first place. Take it from me, It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages. Being married to the same person for almost 38 years has thought me that marriage is no moimoi, neither is it beans and rice. Both parties must work at it daily and must give all of himself /herself everyday, forever. For me and my wife we are committed to managing each other because the devil we know is better than the Angel to come. Marriage like I keep saying is how we maturely deal with our incompatibility rather than our compatibility.
