When is a government fantastically wicked and oppressive?


1. When the workers are underpaid, denied payment or paid half-wages.
2. When the people are asked to pay for the services not rendered a la power supply.
3. When it failed to fulfill its party's promises made during the electioneering.
4. When the cost of living is higher that it met it.
5. When the opposition is being cowed, silent and intimidated.
6. When the pump price for fuel is increasing without addressing the attendant problems.
7. When government officials are busy attending international fora without attending to the problem facing the masses.
8. When the prices of goods are services become unreachable for the masses.
9. When the fear of the unknown grip every facet of the society.
10. When the press and the civil society are on vacations for fear of the unknown.
11. When pastors are being asked to pay before preaching and when their sermons are being screened by the government functionaries.
12. When its predecessors are being nailed for its failure and inept regime.
13. When the labour unions are not carried along in its policies.
14. When abduction, kidnapping and other crimes are going on unchallenged.
15. When the judicial pronouncements are not respected.
16. When the leader of the legislative arm is being persecuted for political reasons.
16. When the monster of unemployment remains free on the streets.
17. When people are being forced to pay multiple taxation.
18. When everything is being taxed or VAT is being increased.
19. When there are bail outs for reckless governors for self survival.
20. When its uses propaganda as a means of communication.
21. When its leader announce its sensitive policies abroad.
22. When it presides over inconclusive elections.
23. When it disowned its promises during the electioneering. etc
