Hi!
Life is not always easy.
If you truly want something or you want to improve your life in some way then
you will stumble.
you will stumble.
You will fall.
Things may seem bleak.
And you might feel like just giving up on your dream and going home.
What do you do in such a situation?
Well, one thought that have helped more than I at first would have thought is this
one:
one:
It is always darkest before the dawn.
It helped me to hold on and to keep going when my social skills and dating life
was just plain bad.
was just plain bad.
It helped me to keep going, to take another step when things looked like they
would never pick up for my own small online business. And when things took a
big turn for the worse in 2013 and I started to think about going out and
looking for another job.
would never pick up for my own small online business. And when things took a
big turn for the worse in 2013 and I started to think about going out and
looking for another job.
Year after year this thought has helped me to put one foot after another and to
keep going even when things have indeed looked dark.
keep going even when things have indeed looked dark.
Why? Because I have found it to be true.
When things seemed to be at the lowest point with my business, with my dating
life or with my motivation in life in general something always happened.
life or with my motivation in life in general something always happened.
Probably quite often because being at that low point forced me to change
something in how I did things.
something in how I did things.
But maybe also because life seems to have some kind of balance if I just keep
going. If I just keep taking action instead of giving up and doing nothing then
something good always happens.
going. If I just keep taking action instead of giving up and doing nothing then
something good always happens.
Seeing this repeat itself strengthened my belief in taking action and to keep going
even on rough days or weeks.
even on rough days or weeks.
And it brings some comfort even when things look pretty dark.
Take care and don't give up on your dreams,
Henrik
