2face-and-wife-Annie-Idibia
A storm seems to be brewing between 2Face’s wife, Annie Idibia and the Eniola Adeniyi, the sister of his baby mama, Pero Adeniyi.
It all started yesterday 31st May, when Annie Idibia took to her IG page to share her thoughts on child abuse and how it could be caused by separated parents not letting each other see their children. After a comment, she sent a shout-out to Sumbo Adeoye, one of 2Face’s babymamas, for being a great woman.

Now, Eniola, a sister to another one of 2face’s babymamas, Pero Adeniyi, has come for Annie over her posts and is saying quite a number of things.
Annie idibia fight 02
According to Eniola, Annie is not in the best of moods because her hubby, 2Face took time off to throw a birthday party for his daughter with Pero.
2face allegedly traveled to see his kids yesterday and this is his first visit to them in over two years. Eniola alleged that Annie harasses Pero with text messages any time Mr Idibia attempts to reach out to his kids with Sumbo and she wants to cut the ties between her hubby and them.
Eniola added that even 2face has to hide to contact his kids so as not to face Annie’s wrath.
Annie responded to the allegations by asking Eniola to get off her Instagram page but Eniola continued to fire back.
Read some the messages that were thrown back and forth.

Charles Inojie and wife
Comic Nollywood actor, Charles Onojie and his wife, Obehi have welcomed their second child, a baby girl who was born on Wednesday, May 25 in Decatur, Georgia, USA. The girl has since been named Onosetale.
The couple tied the knot in November 2012 in Benin City.
While letting all her fans and well wishers know about the good news on Facebook,Inojie’s wife, Obehi recalled the hard times she faced before her baby could be born. Here’s what she disclosed in a powerful write-up:
inojie 03
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. God is wonderful, he blessed me with another beautiful baby 2 days ago, he made it possible for me to sing a new song again, our God is good! When you are waiting on the Lord for something good to happen, please don’t give up, He will surely answer you. I never knew what it meant to wait on the Lord until he taught me how. Since my first daughter became a year old, I have been praying for another baby, it took quiet a long time before it happened.
inojie 02
During that time, I was worried, delayed periods meant miscarriages to me, my mum wasn’t helping matters, “Obehi is old enough to have a sibling, what are you waiting for? Born them sharp sharp, make you rest once” she had no idea what I was going through, I prayed and prayed, cried and cried, then it happened. My period was a week late but I was too scared to confirm my status, then I tried my ovulation test kit, it gave me a smiley face I shouted and rushed off to tell hubby, he said calm down, take this money, he was just giving me a lot of money that morning neither of us knew how much, he told me to go to the nearest clinic for confirmation, as I was driving down, my heart start to beat, I said to myself, I should ve been quiet about this, what if I just raised hubby’s hope for nothing?
inojie 01
“ God reassured me that because He is King over all, everything is beautiful. As soon as my result came out of the lab, my eyes automatically became xrays, I scanned through the paper in the nurse’s hand from afar and I saw *positive* I asked her from where I was sitting, “positive abi? ” she said yes. Ha mo’gbe o, I screamed the whole clinic down and hugged her so tight, I gave the nurse money to buy lunch for herself and the rest of her colleagues. You see, when we take in easily, we don’t know what God has done for us, until we start to hear stories of how many women, are trying hard for the same thing you got so easily. Always be grateful, no matter what, your morning will surely come, keep believing, your testimony will come. All the challenges I had during this pregnancy are long forgotten since my bundle of joy arrived, thank u Lord”.

Skales and his manager
Popular musician, Skales has been taken into police custody along with his manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe on allegations of fraud.   Both of them were accused of committing fraud against Skales’ record label, Baseline Records and diverting funds meant for the record company into their own pockets.
An insider who identified himself as Wale Ewedemi said the duo had confessed to embezzling over 10 million Naira from the label.
He said:
“Skales and His Manager Osagie have been remanded in Police Custody after confessing to various charges of fraud and diversion of Baseline Records funds. They are currently assisting the Police in unraveling the extent of the fraud. Running into tens of millions of naira.
At the inception of the contract, he was given a fully furnished luxury apartment in Lekki in a gated estate, with a brand new customized SUV. And a multi-million Naira sign on Fee. The record label also gave him a free hand to select and run his brand, supported by a multi million Naira corporate expense account. Skales behavior has reduced the appetite of the Record label to assist other young talents to achieve their full potential.”
Popular Cool FM OAP, Freeze had this to say on the issue and the recent trend of artistes having legal issues with their record labels:
“@kaylahoniwo and I talked about this on @coolfmlagos today on the #RoadShow. Many of these artistes are from the hood. One small hit and they upgrade their transportation from Marwa and Molue to a 2006 Range Rover or G wagon with 2014 body kit, then they upgrade their housing from mushin or Aj city to LEKKI phase one…. But the problem is they don’t upgrade their minds!!! They do business with intelligent and witty entrepreneurs while using their ‘Molue mentality’, not realizing that a contract is a contract and GRA-GRA cannot break it!
The other day DJ Zeez was asked to pay his record label N21m, then the vector issue, then Runtown was issued a court injunction restraining him from performing and now skales allegedly sleeping inside police cell!!
Upcoming artistes abeg make una learn how to read book, no be everything be swag, no be everything be gra-gra! Please don’t jump and sign your life away for a plate of porridge!
UPGRADE YOUR MINDS!!!! Still trying to get Osagie and Skales for their own side of the story so expect more updates tomorrow…. In the meantime remember to read whatever u sign o! And make sure u have a good lawyer…”

Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Pawpaw simply noted that he has dodged being scooped off the market because he was taking his time. He said, “Marriage is not a step to be taken because other people are taking it.
“Even if the person is your twin, you don’t have to do it just because he did it. It is something you do when you are ready. I’ll take that step when I’m fully ready,” the 33-year-old comic actor stated.

He also responded to allegations that he and Ikedieze fondly referred to as Aki, are having some misunderstanding which arose after the latter got married. The Imo State born actor said, “There is nothing really going on between us. There is no movie to feature both of us so we have been doing our stuff separately. If any producer wants us together in his movie, then we shall do it as usual.”

EFCC should probe APC’s campaign funds –Kwankwaso

Kwankwaso

Alhaji Musa Ilyasu Kwankwaso, a former Commissioner for Rural Development in Kano State, is a leading member of the Shekarau camp of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano. A vocal critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government, both at the state and Federal levels, he believes that the arrest of top shots of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state under the guise of anti corruption fight is gravely unjust even as he asks the EFCC to investigate in the same manner, the 2015 presidential campaign funds and spending of the other parties.. Here is the translated version.
What is your reaction to the arrests of leading PDP members in the state such as  Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, Ambassador Aminu Wali , your gubernatorial candidate, Malam Salisu Sagi Takai and several others over the 2015 Presidential  Campaign Fund?
Actually, my view is that the present development is a manifestation of the highest level of political injustice. The Federal Government under the leadership of our President is killing our democracy.  I honestly feel that the issue of campaign fund is an experience that took place in all the political parties, PDP, APC and others. It is not exclusive to PDP.  To single out PDP is injustice! Interestingly, the APC spent billions of Naira to execute their campaign across Nigeria. They paid for adverts like any other party, they erected huge bill boards that were intimidating in cities across Nigeria and they undertook other fantastic expenses, flying round the country, holding huge rallies like other parties. Like others, they, in one way or the other, supported different relevant agencies that were to help ensure the elections were peaceful, to make the election smooth and successful. The big question is how come EFCC’s investigation is just about PDP and nothing is heard about APC? How come it is only the leaders of the PDP that are called to make statements or are detained at EFCC offices across the country? Are all the APC members saints? That is why I said that it is all injustice.  I saw in the paper, they said that they are looking for N23 billion NNPC’s money….. But we did campaign appeal fund in Lagos and realized some money. Here in Kano, we held an appeal fund and got some money. We only got assistance from our party’s national headquarters for N950 million. That money came through our leader,  Aminu Bashir Wali and was shared in line with the needs of the party. Isn’t it surprising that months after, somebody is coming to arrest you, to say that the same money from your party headquarters came from the NNPC? In any case,  just how were we, at that time, to know the source of the assistance that was given to us? That is why I said earlier that this whole arrests and intentional denting of our leaders’ creditability is unjust.  And I am calling on Mr. President to call the EFCC to order.
At the time the money was shared, do you have any knowledge that the money was not regularly sourced? Was there any sort of suspicion?
How can you know that the money was brought from the NNPC. Nobody knows the source of the money.  I will say the information was unavailable at that time. But let me also say this, that Governors, Senators, the House of Reps and many people in APC also got money that needs further explanation. How did they finance their campaigns? Let them speak out. Did they finance it from their family savings or from various supports, some of which were institutional?
So your submission is that all politicians are corrupt?
Yes, if we now use the measure of campaign fund and their spending as the basis, then all politicians, from the top to the bottom, are corrupt.
We have seen a lot of how Jonathan got his campaign money. But isn’t it proper for us to hear where and how the candidates of other parties got their campaign funds?
Actually, this whole issue of EFCC arrest is political and selective. That is my take.  And that is why we must re-position our party, the PDP so that we can reclaim the Presidency. Next week, by Saturday, we are storming Port Harcourt to elect our national leaders. By the grace of God, within the next two months or end of the year, you will see some APC defectors, Governors, Senators, as well as House of Assembly members moving to the PDP. You will see what will happen because our party has zoned the presidential candidate to the North. So, I am sure that by 2019, PDP will recapture power.
My appeal is that let EFCC investigate all. In Kano here, we know that there is a petition on an APC member to the EFCC; we petitioned EFCC over the former administration but one year after, they have not taken any action. That is the reason we are saying that this issue of investigation is just selective and it is political.
Tell us more about the petition you just referred to. The petition was written by some members of the pensioners in the state. The EFCC has the copy of the petition and the people too have their own copy. But the EFCC didn’t take any action. Interestingly, while the current investigation that has led to the arrests of several PDP members is just N950 million, the petition in question is three times more.
Yet nothing is heard of the petition. Honestly, this whole investigation is injustice. They are trying very hard to divert the attention of the poor Nigerians who are suffering from asking questions because this party that had promised Nigerians so much, has taken over the leadership of Nigeria for one year and has really nothing to show for their sojourn in power. Nothing! People are suffering in Nigeria today. There is no food, no water, no electricity. Come and see how people are suffering. But I am however sure that the PDP will come to power in 2019. We will surely wipe away the tears of Nigerians when we return to power.
Are you still insisting that the former administration diverted Pensioners money?
Well, it is a petition and it is publicized on the radio and the petition is at the EFCC headquarters. Everybody knows there is a petition. It is no longer news. What is news is that the EFCC did not take any action.
Some people have argued that only a court can brand somebody a thief and not an agency of the executive like the EFCC. What is your response?
I do agree with you.  I get this feeling that they are only trying to tarnish the image of our leaders, especially in the North and that will not make us to relent, as we are going to re-unite and forge ahead to ensure that we recapture power. Unless you go to a competent court of law, then you can testify that somebody and prove that somebody stole money. The court is the right place to prove that somebody has stolen the money. Only a competent court can establish that one is a thief.
The fuel subsidy has been removed. When the PDP was in power, they did not take such an unpopular action; what is your reaction to this development?
I will however leave that issue to Nigerians to decide because I remember during Dr Ebele Jonathan’s administration, he increased fuel by N10 and it resulted to a rowdy strike. I can remember that this President personally came to Kano and joined the strike then. He even cried and told Nigerians that the PDP was maltreating the people. The APC promised Nigerians to peg the price of fuel at N45 per liter, but imagine now, they are now selling for 145 per liter.  I cry for this country, Nigeria. My heart is filled with sorrow for our country.  Somebody, who cried because the pump price was N86 and promised to sell at N45, has become the head, and he is selling fuel at N145 per liter.
Following FG’s sudden hike in the price of fuel, despite promising Nigerians that it will be sold at N45 per liter, is it proper to describe Buhari as a sincere and honest leader?
Nigerians will judge.

EFCC Witnesses Tell Court How FIRS Director Collected N5m Bribe

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 opened trial with two witnesses -  Umar Dalhatu and Abdulkadir Saidu- in a case of alleged bribery involving Abumere Joseph Osagie, a former deputy director, Federal Inland Revenue, FIRS, and one Jamila Ojora before Justice O. O. Goodluck of the FCT High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja.
Dalhatu and Saidu while being led in evidence by counsel to EFCC, Joseph Uzor, as PW1 and PW2 respectively gave detailed account of how the accused persons conspired to obtain a sum of N5million as gratification from the Pro-chancellor, Base University, Senator Datti Ahmed.
The accused persons claim the money was meant to appreciate their services for “arranging tax assessment” for the university.
The act contravenes Section 17(1)(a) and punishable under Section 17(1)(c) of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act, 2000.
In his evidence, Dalhatu, a bursar at Baze University, told the court that, some of his core duties were to keep records of financial transactions of the University, pay salaries, liase with regulating bodies like FIRS, NUC among others.
Narrating how Osagie and his accomplice, Ojora, collected the money Dalhatu said,”I joined the University on November 9, 2015. That time, I was made to understand that the tax assessment and audit exercise had been concluded. The registrar told me to go to FIRS and see Jamila and Mr. Osagie. I contacted them, went to their office and arrange for the Pro-chancellor (Senator Datti Waba Ahmed) to meet with them.
“On December 20, 2015, I received a text mesage from the Pro-Chancellor informing me that, Mr. Osagie was in the University on a familiarization tour. I conducted him round the University. During the familiarisation tour, Osagie told me that, ‘you people’ have to appreciate us with the sum of N5million. I called the Pro-Chancellor and gave the phone to Osagie to speak with him.
“Two days after, the University recieved a letter of intent from the FIRS to pay the sum of N20, 029, 496.00 (twenty million, twenty –nine thousand, four hundred and ninety-six naira). The money was paid in installments to a UBA account”, Dalhatu stated.
The PW1 further stated that, “the university requested for the tax clearance, but we were not given.”
Asked why they were not given, Dalhatu said, “the accused persons insisted that, we had to pay ‘appreciation fee’ before it can be issued.
I reported to the Pro-chancellor (Senator Ahmed) who called Mr. Osagie on January 27, 2016. At about 4:30 pm that day, the Pro-Chancellor instructed me to go to our accountant, Mrs. Juliet Oture, to collect the sum of N5million naira. I collected the money and joined him (Senator Ahmed) in his car. While driving with him, he informed me that, he was taking the matter to the EFCC and we drove straight to the EFCC Head Office at Wuse II, Dalhatu narrated.
Also testifying, PW2, Saidu, who introduced himself as the personal assistant to the Pro-chancellor, told the court how he was involved in handing over the sum of N5million to Ojora at Sheraton Hotel car park, Wuse Zone 4.
According to Saidu, I was called by the Pro-chancellor around 6.00pm on January 27, 2015 to come and meet him at the EFCC Head Office in order to run errand for him. When I got there, he gave me a multi-coloured medium size Ghana-must-go bag containing the sum of N5million. He called Ojora on phone to inform her that I was coming. I met Ojora at the left wing of the Sheraton car park standing by her white Peugeot 408 car. She instructed me to drop the money at the back seat of her car, which I did. She promised to call my boss to confirm that she had recieved the money. Then, I left.
The case has been adjourned to June 13 and July 12, 2016 for further hearing.

NIGERIAN MILITARY IS COMMITTED TO FLUSHING OUT ECONOMIC TERRORISTS

The Defence Headquarters wishes to emphasize that the Nigerian Armed Forces will not relent in their efforts to flush out economic saboteurs masquerading under whatever guise to perpetuate evils in the Niger Delta.

As part of the constitutional mandate of the Armed Forces, the military will not jettison the confidence reposed in it by the good citizens of our great nation in ensuring that peace and security prevail in our land.

The military is not unmindful of the campaign of calumny against our soldiers by paid agents claiming that soldiers are harassing members of the public while performing their constitutional responsibility. It is pertinent to state that it is the same group of people that are wreaking havoc on the critical national assets that are blackmailing the Armed Forces and other security agencies to divert attention.

The military and other security agencies will continue to discharge their lawful duties in the Niger Delta and any other part of the country in a most professional manner devoid of the claim by the criminal elements of harassment, intimidation and arrest. Our job is to secure infrastructural facilities and property of innocent citizens as well as containing the activities of criminal.

The blackmail by sponsored persons would not deter the military from been focused and committed in its effort to fish out the vandals as the whole world is seeing what the so called Militants are criminally doing in the attacks  of oil pipelines.

The security measure put in place is not meant to intimidate any innocent individuals but to bring normalcy to our land. We urge the communities and well meaning Nigerians to cooperate with the security agencies in their bid to apprehend the perpetrators.

The military would respond decisively in a professional manner at appropriate time.
